Taylor BerylTAYLOR, Beryl Taylor -

JULY 12, 1939 – APRIL 9, 2024

On April 9th, 2024, the Taylor family lost Beryl.

She died peacefully in hospital at the age of 84.

She was a loving mum to Andrew & Sally, mother-in-law to Noella and Paul, and Nana to Shawn, Jaclyn, Dylan, Maddy and Robert.

She is predeceased by her loving husband Bob, to whom she was married for 59 years. She will be missed by a special circle of friends who have been an important part of her life for more than 50 years.

Beryl loved working as a teacher - first in England and then in Durham Region. Once retired, she taught bridge at the Oshawa Seniors Centre. Outside of work, Beryl was known for her boundless energy and her interest in adventure. She was active in all kinds of sports - especially tennis, squash, golf, skiing and pickleball.

She was an avid gardener, a whiz at all kinds of puzzles, and a big fan of the Toronto Raptors. Beryl loved having family and friends around, and often organized special outings and events to bring people together.

Visitation will take place on Saturday April 20th, from 12:30 to 2:30 pm at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King St. W. Oshawa. A memorial service will take place immediately afterward, at 2:30.

The family requests that you consider a memorial donation to Plan International.
