OMalley ThomasO'MALLEY, Thomas Charles O’Malley  -  Born September 16, 1965 in Oshawa, Ontario, passed peacefully on April 27, 2024, after a vigilant fight against cancer.

He is survived by his wife Jennifer O’Malley, son Ethan O’Malley, parents Joseph and Catherine O’Malley, brothers Mark and Andrew, and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Graduated 1991 from University of Toronto Faculty of Law, called to the bar in 1992, and practiced independently as a barrister and solicitor in Oshawa until 2024, Thomas had a strong faith, a thirst for knowledge, and a brilliant mind.

His love of animals and sarcastic sense of humour lives on through his son Ethan.

In high school, Tom was part of the debate team, was a cross country runner, and graduated as the top student in all of Durham Region.

He was always an avid reader, and self-published a book in 2008, entitled “Canadian Divorce and Separation Made Easier” in tandem with his family law practice.

Arrangements with MOUNT LAWN FUNERAL HOME .

In Remembrance of Thomas O’Malley's life, his spiritual journey and his love for animals, should you wish to make a charitable donation, Jennifer and Ethan suggest two organizations that were close to his heart: The Humane Society of Durham Region and The Salvation Army Oshawa Temple.
