Mitchell AnnMITCHELL, Ann Erskine Mitchell  -
August 29, 1927 - May 8, 2024

Ann passed away peacefully at the Oshawa General Hospital at the age of ninety-six.

She was predeceased by her much beloved husband, Eddie, and her two sons, David and Alan.

Ann was born and raised in Dunfermline, Scotland. She met Eddie, a Canadian, when he was playing hockey for the Dunfermline Vikings.

After a whirlwind romance and much hockey fanfare, the couple married and returned to Canada. They bought a home in Ajax where they raised their family.

Ann was a longtime employee of Dowty Equipment (Canada).

With Ann’s support and assistance, her siblings and parents also eventually immigrated to Canada. Ann and Eddie loved to travel.

They enjoyed returning to Scotland to visit family and spent many winters in Anna Marie Island, Florida, where they had a winter home.

Ann was a beautiful singer, who would light up a room with her bubbly personality and great sense of humour.

Ann also very much appreciated her time spent with Eddie, other family members and friends at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 322 in Ajax.

Ann is fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and relatives in Scotland.

Arrangements with  McEACHNIE FUNERAL HOME .
