Marshall BrianMARSHALL, Brian Douglas - (January 2, 1954 - March 18, 2017) - 

Passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus on March 18th, 2017 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa in his 64th year, after a lengthy battle with cancer.

Survived by sons Sean and Tyler, lifelong friend Andrea Marshall, parents Douglas & Arliene Marshall, sister Wanda (Derek) Dutka, nephews Travis (Shannen), Jeremy (Allison) and Kyle (Brittany) Dutka, grandniece Kaia Dutka and grandnephew Dreyson Dutka.

Brian had a passion for music and was a very talented drummer.

 

He was a very caring individual and enjoyed being with family and friends. His great sense of humour and his love for discussing local and world events made him easy to talk to. Brian loved his cats and enjoyed watching the Blue Jays, Maple Leafs and the Oshawa Generals.

Our deepest and heartfelt thanks to the doctors, nurses, and support staff on 4F at Lakeridge health Oshawa for making Brian's final days so special. Your kindness was appreciated by Brian more than you'll ever know.

A celebration of Brian's life will be held at 903 Matterhorn St., Oshawa on Sunday, March 26th at 2 PM.

Arrangements have been entrusted to OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234)

In lieu of flowers, donations to Carea Community Health Centre would be gratefully appreciated.
