Pipher LeonardPIPHER, Leonard Everett   - Passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Monday July 10th, 2017 at the age of 89 years.

Leonard, beloved husband of Joan Anne (nee Conboy) for 67 years.

Dear father of Lynne (Don), Joy (Rick) and Donna (Dave). Loving grandfather of Sean, Cathy, Becky (Steve), Krista (Eric) and the late Brian. Very Much loved great grandfather of Gavin, Ava and Ronan and also the four legged grandkids.

Predeceased by his parents Everett and Queenie Pipher and in-laws Fred and Isabelle Conboy. Caring brother of Bud, Mary Pipher, Ken (the late Mary) and Luci Pipher.

Caring brother in-law of Kay (the late Harold) Hopkins, the late Norris (Edna) Conboy, Carol (the late Ray) (now married to Dennis Lalonde) and the late Ray (Carol and the late Harry) Pleizer.

After 42 years of driving a car carrier with an excellent driving record he hung up the truck keys to put more miles on the motor home (the second love of his life) with his long time travel mate the Old Girl Joannie.

I have roamed many miles here on earth and now many more to travel in heaven.  Family and friends are all welcome to attend a celebration of Len’s life at Johnny’s Eatery (850 Kind St. W. Oshawa) on Friday July 14th, from 5 - 8 p.m.

It was Leo’s wishes that a private family interment of his cremated remains to take place at MOUNT LAWN FUNERAL HOME & CEMETERY (905 443-3376).

In lieu of flowers donations to SickKids, Canadian Cancer Society or Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada would be appreciated.
