GROVES, Edward - (Veteran WW II, 1st Special Service Force (Devil’s Brigade), Past President of Royal Canadian Legion Branch #419 in Port Perry) -

Peacefully, on Friday, August 25, 2017 at Port Perry Place, at age 93.

Ed Groves of Port Perry, beloved husband of Peggy (nee Wetmore). Loved father of Glenn (deceased) and Stephen and his wife Janice.

Loving grandfather of Stephen and his wife Marielle of Halifax and Emily and her husband Jamie McGee of Whitby and great grandfather of Michelle and Sophia.

Ed is survived by his sister Phyllis Lee, and his many nieces and nephews.

The family of Ed Groves will receive friends at the Wagg Funeral Home, Port Perry, on Monday, September 11th from 10 – 11 a.m. A Service to Celebrate his life will be held in the Chapel at 11 a.m. Interment, Prince Albert.

If desired, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Salvation Army.
