Jackson CatharineJACKSON, Catharine Luella (nee Ormiston)  - Passed away on Wednesday October 4th, 2017 at the Wynfield in her 101st year.

Beloved wife of the late Orval Jackson. Loving mother of Murray (Mickey), Robert (Gloria) and Paul (Maryanne).

Much loved grandmother of 9 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

Sister of Marion Blair and Norene Harvey.

Predeceased by sisters Rowena and Jessie and brother Bruce. Her special friend Stewart Diceman predeceased her.

Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews and their families.

Thank you to the wonderful staff at the Court at Brooklin where Catharine enjoyed many years and made new friends in her golden years. Recently during her stay at the Wynfield the kindness and care shown to her and her family will be fondly remembered.

Visitation at BARNES MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 5295 Thickson Rd. N. Whitby on Friday (October 13th) from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.

Funeral Service in the Barnes Chapel Saturday morning (October 14th) at 11:00 a. m.

Catharine will be laid to rest beside her husband at GROVESIDE CEMETERY, Brooklin.

In Catharine’s memory, donations to Brooklin United Church Memorial Fund or Sleeping Children Around the World would be appreciated.
