ROBERTS, Delbert - Passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends at his bedside after a lengthy illness on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at the age of 63.
Beloved husband of Madeline.
He is survived by his parents, Jessie and Reginald and his sister Kimberly (Dave Lush).
He was predeceased by his brother Murray.
Delbert will also be greatly missed by his in-laws, Marie (Keith), Pauline, Melinda (Herb), Michelle (Glen), Maxwell (Sarah) and Cathy (John), neice's, nephews, extended family and many, many wonderful friends.
Delbert loved his work, since the age of 17 he was involved with auto parts, first at GM and later at KIA motors.
He loved to hunt and fish and had the shiniest Truck in Durham. He was also an avid NASCAR fan.
The family will receive friends at the McEACHNIE FUNERAL HOME, 28 Old Kingston Road, Ajax, 905 428-8488 on Saturday, November 18, 2017 from 5 until 9 p.m.
A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Sunday, November 19, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. Cremation to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
