DEFREITAS, Maria Faustina “Tina” - Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at Glen Hill Strathaven Lifecare Centre, on Saturday, December 30th, 2017 at the age of 85.
Beloved wife of the late Sid Sr. for 60 years.
Loving mother of Carlos (Diana), Alexandra (Brian) and the late Sid Jr. (Isaura).
Cherished vova of Ryan (Erin), Victoria, Michael, Kathleen, Marc, Erica, Spencer, Quinton and the late Rebecca. Devoted great-grandma of Luke and Scarlett.
Dear sister of Teresa (Frank). Tina was a very loving people person who was kind to everyone and very involved with her community, especially the Catholic Church. She will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched.
Visitation will be held at the Morris Funeral Chapel, Bowmanville, on Tuesday, January 9th, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at ST. JOSEPH’S ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH, 127 Liberty St S, Bowmanville (905-623-3233) on Wednesday, January 10th, 2018 at 11:00 a.m.
