      Ontario Junior Hockey League, Whitby Fury Junior A Hockey Club, in conjunction with Mount Lawn Funeral Home & Cemetery, invite the community to sign a guestbook of condolence at Mount Lawn Funeral Home, 21 Garrard Road, Whitby in memory of the players and team personnel who lost their lives in Humboldt, Saskatchewan.

    The book will be available daily from  9 a.m. - 8 p.m. until Monday, April 23rd, at which time the book will be sent to the OJHL offices to be sent to the team in Saskatchewan

HumboldtStrong BannerA book of remembrance and support has been placed in the lobby of the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME for residents of Oshawa, Whitby and Clarington. This will be sent to the community of Humboldt to show our support and solidarity.

Feel free to add to our memorial in front of the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME.

Hockey sticks will be donated to support minor hockey in our community.

As well, OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, COURTICE FUNERAL CHAPEL and DIGNITY MEMORIAL will make a donation to support Minor Hockey for every stick collected.

CAMPBELL, Milton Wesley Campbell  - 87, of Ajax, Ontario, passed away peacefully with family by his side, at Ajax Pickering Hospital on January 10, 2018.

Milton is survived by his wife Norma of 62 years, three daughters, Janis Campbell (Tom Anderson), Kelly Campbell (MJ Miller), Juli (Dave) Such, two sons John Campbell (Deborah Fox), Sam Campbell (Kim), his brother Earl Campbell of Lindsay, ON, seven grandchildren Sam (Mishelle), Darell (Rose), Sierra (Casey), Brianna (Josh), Terry (Mackie), Alyssa, Madison, and four great grandchildren Preston, Spencer, Jaxon and Lyla.

Milton was employed at Packagemaster (WestRock) for 40+ years. He was very involved in his children’s sports and activities in their younger years.

He was especially involved with the Town of Ajax Ringette executive committee for which he was inducted into the Ringette Hall of Fame in 1994. He spent most summer weekends and holidays in Lindsay, ON camping with his family.

Visitation will be from 6:00 until 9:00 PM on Monday, January 15 and from 1:00 until 2:00 PM on Tuesday, January 16 with service at 2:00 PM at McEachnie Funeral Home, Pickering, Ontario.

In lieu of flowers please make a donation to The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada, Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
