GRANT, Thelma (nee Allenby) - We are heartbroken to announce the passing of our dearly beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother, Thelma Grant (nee Allenby) of Peterborough, Ontario.
She died peacefully in her sleep at Peterborough Regional Health Centre during the early morning of Wednesday, January 10, one day before her 89th birthday.
Thelma was pre-deceased by her Father Sidney, her Mother Edith, her first Husband Ronald Dimock, her brother Douglas and by her Great-grandson Oliver.
She is survived by her loving and devoted Husband Norman, her loving children Cal (Susan), Rick (Judy), Brian (Peggy), Gary (Sally) and Kim (Jay), by her loving and dear Grandchildren Ryan (Wendy), Sharon, Kevin, Lindsay (Brad), Deanna, Craig (Courtney), Reilly, Morgan and Tyler.
Thelma was also fortunate to be blessed with, and survived by, 5 wonderful Great-grandchildren Megan, Kiara, Isaiah, Brooklyn and Ryu.
In accordance with Mom’s wishes, there will be a private, family service on Friday, January 19 at Thornton Cemetery.
