Sproatt JohnSPROATT, John Hamilton  - John was born in 1935 and died peacefully Jan. 12 in Bowmanville.

John was the loving and very much loved husband of Carolyn.

He was the devoted father of Lynn (Augusto) and the late Andrew.

Uncle to Micheal, Anne and Heather.

John was predeceased by his brother Henry and sister Elisabeth.

He was well known for his sense of humour, wide smile, ever generous nature and ability to fix anything.

Memorial Visitation will be held at  NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division Street, Bowmanville on Friday January 19, 4:00 to 6:00 pm.

As per John's request, there will be no funeral service.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be made to a charity of your choice or to the Royal Regiment of Canada (Education and Veterans fund), where John had served as an officer. (Cheque to: R REGT C Association.
