SPRATT, Harold – Passed peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa after a short battle with Leukemia, in the morning of Wednesday March 28th, 2018, at the age of 87.
Beloved husband of Helen, loving father to Debra Russell (Paul), Hal (Audry), Carol (predeceased) and Roberta.
Loving Grandfather of Lillian (Paul), Lisa (Sid), Les, Barb (Steven), Bruce (Predeceased), Sherry, Laurie (Brian) and Warren (Kathleen). Brother to Jerry, Freda, Walt and Ray (predeceased).
Lovingly remembered by his sister Rosella and (21) great-grand-children, extended family and friends. Harold worked as a tool and die setter for most of his life retiring from Chrysler at age 54.
The family would like to thank Dr. Kennedy and nurses on the 6th floor Cancer ward and Dr. Vieira and all the wonderful nurses and staff of the 4th floor palliative care for all their compassion and great care they provided.
A visitation will take place at MOUNT LAWN FUNERAL HOME & CEMETERY 21 Garrard Rd (905-443-3376) on Tuesday April 10th 2018 from 10 am to 11am with the service to commence in the chapel at 11am.
Interment to follow in Mount Lawn Cemetery.
In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Leukemia Foundation of Canada.
