CLARK, Betty Vera - Passed gently away on Sunday, May 20th, 2018 in her 88th year.
Beloved wife for 58 years of the late Dr. Roy M. Clark; dear mother of Paul and Chris; delightful Nanny to grandchildren Julian, Deanna and Shawn.
Betty was a real character to the very end: very English (despite her 52 years in Canada), very decided, and very proper, but always with an acerbic comment lurking in the background.
She had been ready to go for years, so we would not wish her back again, but she will, no doubt, regret having missed the Queen’s funeral.
If your fancy takes you, it would be lovely if you made a donation in her name to your favourite charity, or just have a cup of tea and a bikki and recite a verse or two of “Daffodils” in her honour.
