OWEN, Marion (nee Kight)  - June 14, 1918 – June 5, 2018

Passed away peacefully just days before her 100th birthday with her girls and Bob at her side.

Marion was born in Port Perry to Arthur and Lillie Kight and resided in Uxbridge for most of her life.

Beloved wife of the late Glenn Owen.

Loved and cherished mother to Judy Taylor (Robert). Adored grandmother to Susan (Alan), Maelynne (Jeff) and Cheryl (Eric).

Proud great gramma of Bethany, James and Nicolas.

Marion was the last of the Kight siblings, Beatrice, Allaurien, Arthur, Cleve, Elizabeth, Lillian and David; and a devoted aunt to her many nieces and nephews of several generations. Marion was a talented artist, writer and teacher. She loved her garden and books and was a lifelong member of the Anglican Church.

Family and friends will be received at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, 59 Toronto Street South, Uxbridge on Friday, June 8, 2018 from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. A reception will follow, after which Marion will be laid to rest in Prince Albert.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Marion may be made to the Uxbridge Public Library or St. Paul’s Anglican Church.
