Dear uncle of Andrew and Elaine; and Matthew, Karina and Diane. Dear nephew of Patrick Holly (Betty), and Rita Harrington (Paul).

Tim was a longtime employee and retired from Holiday Inn, Oshawa.

He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by his family and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East, Oshawa on Thursday April 18th at 11am. Visiting from 10am.

Lockey_NancyAfter a full and long life, with her loving family by her side, Nancy May Lockey passed away at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Friday, April 12th, 2013.

Born in Belfast, Ireland on January 18th,1922, and predeceased by six siblings, she was the beloved wife of the late Stanley Lockey and loving mother to Gaynor Blake (Steve), Colin (Lori) and Roger (Donna).

Forever "Granny" to her grandchildren, Chris (Wendy), Michael (Marnie), Stuart, Gregory, Adrian (Stacy), Nigel, Avery and Connor, and great grandchildren, Shaelyn and Lauryn.

A founding and active member of St. Matthew's Anglican Church in Oshawa, she will be remembered by all for her caring nature, always-present smile and love of a good story.

Hillsdale Terraces, her home for the past years, has lost a formidable Scrabble player - but their loss is heaven's gain. Nancy will be missed by many.

A private family funeral was held at MOUNT LAWN RECEPTION CENTRE, 21 Garrard Rd, Whitby, Ontario (905-443-3376).

Beloved grandmother of Ashley (Ben) and Courtney (Andrew), Cole and Robin (Paul), and Matthew & Wesley. Great grandmother to Noah and to two unborn babies on the way. She will be truly missed but never forgotten.

Cheryl was an exceptional Mother and friend. She was always smiling and very warm-hearted, known for her “McNificent” work ethic and strong faith.

She will be deeply missed by her three children Matthew, Stephanie, and Jordan, and Granddaughter Abigail.

Memorial service will be held for close friends and family at St. Georges Anglican Church in Oshawa on Friday April 26th at 11 am.

In remembrance of Cheryl, we will be celebrating her life by wearing bright colors.

Loved and always remembered by the Coutts family, Mother-in-law Judy Coutts (late Jerry), Sandy Moffatt and her husband Russ, Barb Gallant and her husband James, Leslie Paradie and her husband Tim all of Whitby.

Loved uncle of Brittany, Joe, Mitch, Kelsey, Tyler, Olivia, Nicole, Jeri-lee, Abby, Cole and Jaidyn.  Don will be dearly missed by Heather, Mike and Ashleigh Dwinnell.

Don will be remembered as a long time dedicated coach and volunteer for Youth Hockey and Baseball.

On Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at Lakeridge Health Palliative Care in Oshawa, John (Jack) Wright Middleton passed away after a year-long illness.

Predeceased by his wife Marilynne Middleton (nee Henshaw) of Ajax.

John will be missed by their children Heather (William Dewland) and Jacquelyn (Darren Lee) of Toronto, as well as his children from his first marriage, Kim and Jason. John will be deeply missed by his family and many friends.

The Middleton family was one of the first to call D.I.L. (Defense Industries Limited) home during the war effort of World War II. Following the war, the munitions area became the Town of Ajax.

A Canadian army veteran (WWII), and a longtime employee of General Motors in Oshawa, John was always willing to share entertaining stories about his many exploits.

For friends interested in the celebration of John's life, the family asks that they be contacted directly.

Born in the Netherlands in 1912, she immigrated to Canada in 1953 with her husband Jacobus (Jack) de Jong, and daughter.  They settled in Toronto and together owned and operated a small chain of bakeries in the GTA.

She will be greatly missed by her daughter, Maria Antonia (Ria) de Jong and her son-in-law, Alex Taylor.

Maria Adriana (Rie) was predeceased by her husband Jack, as well as her sisters, Jeanne, Annie, Riek, Joop and Martha and her brother Bart.

She is survived by her sister Elizabeth and sister-in-law, Marcella, as well as nieces and nephews in Canada, Netherlands and Australia.

Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 in his 89th year.

He is survived by his wife of 65 wonderful years, Mae Hart; his sister, Rose Hart; his five children, Donna Hart Arcangeli of Montecarlo, Italy; Karen Hart Culbertson of Woodberry Forest, Virginia; Randy Hart of Newcastle, Ontario; Sandra Hart of Pickering, Ontario; and Wendy Hart Penner of Vernon, British Columbia.

Also survived by eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

In keeping with Albert's wishes, a private cremation has taken place and his ashes will be interred during the summer of 2013 in the Humboldt Public Cemetery, alongside his father, Charles Albert Hart.

If so desired, donations can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.

Loving partner of Angus. Cherished mother of Brian (Ann), Bill (Pauline), Rick (Joanne) and Reg (Tina). Beloved grandmother of Brian Jr., Stephanie, Raymond, Suzzane, Marie, Amanda, Michael and Scott, and great grandmother of 3. Survived by her brothers Camille, Edward, Walter and Roger (Marilynn), and her sisters Emerise Wood (Vince), Levina Lucas and Dorice Langendyk. She will be missed by many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

She was an avid bowler and line-dancer and loved to play Bingo.

Passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on Tuesday April 9, 2013 at the age of 55.

Beloved husband of Eduarda (nee Vasconcelos).

Loving father of Julia DaCosta and Barbara White (Shawn). Cherished grandfather of Mia DaCosta, Kie DaCosta and Mila White. Dear brother of Carol and Norma (Bob). Robert was also survived by his nieces and nephews. He will also be missed by the family pet, their cat Sparky.

Robert was born in Scotland on April 19, 1957 to Jack and Janet Stewart.  He loved building boats, and at the age of 12 built his first canoe. He also enjoyed trains, but his biggest joy in life came from spending time with his grandchildren.

In keeping with Robert’s wishes cremation and a private service has taken place.

As expressions of sympathy, donations made to the Children’s Wish Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

The family would like to express its deepest gratitude to the staff and nurses of Cambridge Memorial Hospital Medical Day Care Clinic, especially Dr. Sims, and to the ParaMed nurses, with a special thanks to Abby King for the care and compassion shown to Robert during his illness.
