After nearly 80 years of feisty living, Marilynne passed peacefully at Ajax-Pickering Hospital after a long battle with COPD and back pain.
A tiny but feisty little lady who would stop at nothing to take care of her family, “Mar” was a practicing nurse for over 18 years, and the go-to nurse for everyone she knew until she left our world.
She is survived by her husband (Paul) of 24 years, her sister Virginia, her daughters, Sandy, Susie (Richard), and Shanon, her stepchildren, Doug (Gail) and Paula, 13 grandchildren, her niece Chrissy (Greg), nephew Terry, and her beloved morkie, Molly.
BENNETT, Edward (Ted) Henry Bennett - Passed away peacefully on March 12, 2017 with his nephew at his side at the age of 81.
Ed was the loving brother to Marion Johnson, (Bennett), and special Uncle to David Johnson and Barbara Chapman, and Great Uncle to Ryan, Shannon and Jessica.
He will be missed by nieces, nephews, children and grandchildren of his predeceased wife Mary Mitchell-Bennett.
At his request, Ed will be interred later in the year with his wife Mary in Wingham, Ontario.

Harry was an avid sports fan and during his many years at Sandy Cove Acres in Innisfil, Harry became an enthusiastic curler and also played slo-pitch baseball.
During his retirement, Harry volunteered for Habitat For Humanity in Barrie and was a recipient of the Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Medal for service to both his country and his community.
