It is with great sadness that the family announce the death of Gunther after a short but courageous battle with cancer.

Peacefully on Friday, July 22, 2011 surrounded by family at the age of 79. Loving husband to Lydia for 58 years, dear father of Ute, Margit and Bill and cherished Opa to Demian, Cody and Courtney. Survived by his brother Kurt, wife Christl and daughter Dagmar and beloved family in Germany.

His professional accomplishments are impressive and his love for cars is apparent throughout his life.

He worked for Heimrath Racing for 14 years and Downtown Fine Cars as top Porsche salesman for 25 years.

A celebration of Gunther's life will be held on Wednesday, August 3rd.
