Beloved husband of the late Leona McIntosh. Loving father of Karen McIntosh, Leslie Wybert (Bruce), Julie DePaul (Mark) and Bill McIntosh (Denice).

Proud grandfather of Leanne, DJ (Kathy), Trevor, Tyler, Geoff, Sarah, Evan, Nicholas, and Cassandra. Great grandfather of Isaac, Cheyenne, LeCheya and Ben.

He is survived by his brother Ronald McIntosh and predeceased by siblings Betty Youmans and Robert McIntosh.


Coulson JeanCOULSON, Jean (Bull) - (1923 - 2017) - With her own brand of fierce determination, our mother left us peacefully on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at the Georgetown Hospital to be with those she loved, who had gone before.

Though our hearts are broken, it is with full understanding of where she needed to be.

Jean Coulson, in her 95th year was the beloved wife of the late Duncan Coulson and the late Robert Barrett.

She was the loving mother of Steven Barrett (Hilda), Sandra McArthur, Cynthia Barrett-Austin (Ken), the late Tina Wilson (the late Bill) and the late Christine Ferrari (Joe), adoring Nan of many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Marilyn passed away on July 22, 2017. She was born in Hamilton, Ontario on May 28, 1946 to parents John and Mary (Perkovich) Penich.

A faithful member of the United Church of Oakwood, she was on the Church Board and a Mission Service enthusiast. As a fifty year member of the Croatian Fraternal Union she attended many banquets, concerts and fundraisers. She was a member of the Lindsay Seniors Women’s Knitting Club where she befriended many wonderful women who became close friends.


Silveira MariaSILVEIRA, Maria - Maria Silveira passed away on July 22, 2017 at the age of 80 with her loving family by her side.

Maria is the loving Mother of Angelo (deceased), Doreen, and Ricky (deceased). Devoted Grandma of Ryan (Ashley) and Matthew.

Maria was a cherished sister of Marilia (Serafim), Elias (Lourdes), Jose (Maria) and many other siblings. She will be missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Emanuel was born in Marzamemi, Sicily on May 12, 1947. He immigrated to Canada in 1958. He leaves behind his devoted wife of 33 years Josephine “Joey” (nee Liscio). Beloved father of Joe, Frank (Odette), Emanuel Jr. (Marisa). Loving Nonno to Matthew, Emanuel and Daniella.

Dear brother of Rita Salonia (Charlie). He will be missed by nieces and nephews; Vince, Nina, AnnaRita and Corrado.


Sikkema MariaSIKKEMA, Maria 'Rhea' - (February 11, 1942 - July 21, 2017) - Went home to be with the Lord after a brave battle with cancer.

Beloved wife of Harry Sikkema. Devoted mother of Dave Sikkema, Bernice Roberge (Glen), Michelle Shuttleworth and Kim Sandford (Jason). Loving grandma of Matt, Erin, Mark, Kailey, Juliet and Dylan.

She will be sadly missed by brother Hans van Dorp (Ineke) and sister Nel Wulffraat of the Netherlands. Predeceased by brother Peter van Dorp of the Netherlands and son-in-law Rob Shuttleworth.

LAXTON, Wilfred Richard - (1953 - 2017) - Passed away at Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Friday, July 21, 2017 with his loving family by his side.

Wilfred leaves behind his loving wife Eleanor, his son Jason (Heather), his stepchildren; Nancy, Steven and Kevin and his grandchildren; Quinn, Vivian, Chantelle, Kevin, Tanner and Karly.

He will be missed by his sisters Anne (Danny) and Lynda, and his Aunt Dorothy. He will always be remembered as a loving uncle to his nephews Danny, Michael, Jamie, Sean and David.

Wilfred was predeceased by his parents Lois and Wilfred Laxton, and by his son Darryl.


Crumb JimCRUMB, Elias 'Jim' Gorley - It is with great sadness that the family of Elias (Jim) Gorley Crumb announces his passing on July 20, 2017 at the age of 86.

Jim was a loving husband to Gloria (Skip) Crumb for 66 years. After a major stroke at age 67, Jim worked hard to regain his functionality so he could make more memories with Skip and his family.

Always a hard worker, Jim was initially a fisherman for Olmstead Fisheries. However, the last 30 years of his career were spent as a staff Sergeant on the Leamington Police Force.

Tony was a building contractor in Burlington for over 50 years and has left a legacy of construction projects in the area.

Tony was a past president and proud life member of the Burlington Optimist Club. He served on Burlington city council as an alderman from 1979 to 1985.

GALBRAITH, Verne - In his 90th year, in Burlington, Ontario on July 19, 2017.

Predeceased by his parents John and Leona Galbraith, and his siblings; Marion (Jack) Hamilton, Arch (Barb) Galbraith, Freda (Bill) McKay and Delmar.

Verne is survived by nine nieces and nephews.

Verne was a quiet and caring individual who worked hard on the family farm, though he did enjoy playing baseball, trap shooting and the standard bred horse races.

Cargill BryanCARGILL, Bryan Douglas - (1949 - 2017) - Left this world on July 19th, 2017 much in the way he lived: quietly, and without expectation.

He was born in Milton, and grew up in Milton Heights on the escarpment with his parents, Ruth and Charles Cargill and five siblings, Bill (Gianna), Myrna (Ray), Deanna (Duff), Karen (Dave), and Richard (Jennifer).

This close group of siblings, along with Bryan's wife and partner of 34 years Irene, and Bryan’s children Jeni, Carrie and Justin will all miss him immeasurably.

Milda "Em" was a Fire Fighter with Toronto Fire Services for 18 years.
