Buxton KeithBUXTON, Keith - Passed away unexpectedly in his 75th year at Brampton Civic Hospital on March 14th, 2018.

He was the devoted husband and best friend to Christine for over 47 years. The Brilliant and supportive Dad to Stuart and his wife Brenda. Proud Grandad to Vanessa-Lee and Shauna-Lynn and Great Grandad to Kara-Lynn.

He will be fondly remembered by his siblings Celia Grainge of Ottawa and George Buxton in England.

Keith was a well-known teacher at Sheridan College, having taught there for 36 years.

Cherished Oma "Amo" of Nikolaas (Lindsay), Andrew, Roseanne (Matt), Michelle, Peter, Dylan, David, Joseph and Liam and great grandchildren Anna, Catherine, Dominic, Philippa, Noah, Evelyn and Thomas.

Also, predeceased by her sisters Jacqueline and Henny and by her brother Job.

SYER, Kathleen 'Kay' (nee Brown) - (1923 - 2018) - Passed away peacefully with family by her side at Billings Court Manor, on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at the age 95.

Beloved wife of the late Victor Syer (2008) for 49 years and loving sister Sheila, as well as cherished mother of Paul, Keith and his wife Kimberley. Will be greatly missed by her grandchildren Alyssa, Samantha, and Abigail.

Kay is predeceased by her parents Atkinson and Florence Brown (nee Blenkin) and by her sisters Joyce, Winifred and Margaret and brother Peter.

Devoted and loving husband of 31 years to Dianne (nee Aplin). Proud father of Kailey and Tyler. Cherished son of Mary and the late Robert Kirkpatrick and son-in-law of Vera and the late Roy Aplin.

Dear brother of Nancy, Jane (Luke), David (Cheryl) and brother-in-law Glenn. Rob will also be dearly missed by his nieces and nephews, Katherine, Michael, Sarah, Ryan, Rebecca and sister-in-law Lynn.

Rob graduated from McMaster University and was a lifelong fan of the Marauder football team. Rob was a Professional Engineer, working over 29 years for Elliott Turbomachinery Canada.

Hureau PaulHUREAU, Paul James - Paul James Hureau passed away on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at Creek Way Village Long-Term Care Home in Burlington.

Paul grew up as the son of Thomas and Sarah (Bobbie) Hureau in Hureauville, Nova Scotia. He was very proud of his Cape Breton heritage. Paul was very close to his brothers and sisters - Bernadette (Kennedy), Shirley, Leona, Andrew and Thomas.

After graduating from St. Francis Xavier University, Paul moved to Hamilton to find work. He was reunited there with other young Maritimers who became his wonderful lifelong friends. Paul and his wife Virginia (Carter) established themselves in Burlington and together they had two children- Jonathan and Carolyn of whom he was extremely proud.

Paul was a manager at The Steel Company of Canada for over 25 years. He was an executive award-winning member of many professional organizations.

Irvine NorahIRVINE, Norah (Shaw) - (October 25, 1938 – March 12, 2018) - Passed away peacefully at The Carpenter Hospice on Monday, March 12, 2018 at the age of 79.

Beloved wife of the late John Irvine. Cherished mother of Karen and Sean.

Norah will be dearly missed by her brother, John Shaw (Margaret) and her nieces and nephews, Kevin, Catherine and Moira.

Bishop KarenBISHOP, Karen Margaret - (January 16, 1963 – March 11, 2018) - It is with great sadness that the family of Karen Margaret Bishop announces her sudden passing at her home on Sunday, March 11, 2018 at the age of 55.

She is survived by her companion of 20 years Frank Noseworthy and her ex-husband Doug Bishop.

Karen was the daughter of the late George (2016) and Agnes (1989) Horder. She was the loving mother of Balie (Chris Grant) and Carlie Bishop (Kerry Kauanaugh). She was the very proud Nanny to Savannah, Mia, Devon, Landon and Dex.

Karen is also survived by her sisters Debbie, Brenda, Gina (Dave), Mary Kay Smith, and her nieces Kay-Lin, Brandi, Michelle and her nephew Evan.

Garie was born on May 19, 1942 in Chatham, New Brunswick to Edith (nee Keating) and Gara Hay, who was killed in World War II, four months later. Christened Loretta, Garie chose to adopt her father’s first name as her own as a young girl.

She will be deeply missed by her beloved husband of 52 years, Ronald James Seymour, her three children Jeff (Tracy), Rhea (Kirk) and David (Dani), her granddaughter Sophie Gara, siblings Kate (Doug) Wray, Kim (Mike) Gebara, Norie (Terry) MacDonald, Paula (Harshad) MacDonald, Scott MacDonald, and many cousins and nieces and nephews.
