THREADER, William 'Bill' Joseph 'Coach' - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bill at Joseph Brant Hospital, Burlington, on Friday, October 13, 2017 at the age of 85.
Beloved husband of Margaret Threader (nee Gaber). Loving father of Ron Threader (Liisa), Kevin Threader, Kerin Threader (David Vickerson), Joanne Butwick and Deanna Breukelman (Kevin Bailey). Cherished grandfather of Charlene, Jamie, Jacqueline, Sarah, Mark, Scott, Julia, Rebecca, Cassandra, Matthew, Christopher, Justin, Seger, Keegan and Jody and ‘Grampie’ to 21 great grandchildren.
Bill is survived by his brothers Robert and Michael (Freda). Predeceased by brothers Jack, Jimmy and Dan.
Bill will be dearly remembered by many friends whose lives he touched through a lifetime of coaching.
RUWHOF, Robert John 'RJ' - Passed away peacefully at his home in Burlington on Friday, October 13, 2017 at the age of 50.
Survived by loving and devoted father Henry Ruwhof and mother, the late Carol-Anne (nee Webb) (2015). Cherished brother of Denise Gibbons (Robert). Proud uncle to Callasandra, Benjamin, Nicholas, Gabriel, and Morgan.
RJ will also be dearly missed by many extended family, friends, and co-workers.
DAWSON, Marjorie 'Jerrie' (nee Burton) - (1934 - 2017) -Mom passed away quickly and peacefully on Friday, October 13th, 2017 at Georgetown Hospital after a short, but valiant battle with cancer.
She will now join Dad, in a happier and more peaceful place of heaven.
Born in Leeds, England on January 13th, 1934, Mom came to Canada in her late teens to find adventure and found her future loving husband, John Dawson. They married and Marjorie returned to England to explain herself to her parents, who eventually met my father and treated him as one of their own.
Mom returned to Canada and worked throughout her life as an accountant with new car dealerships. Her vibrant red hair, excellent sense of humour and sense of style were as appreciated as the new car models every year.
WILLSON, Katherine McLean - Passed away on October 13, 2017 at 63 years of age at the Ian Anderson House Hospice in Oakville, Ontario.
Born in Windsor, Ontario on August 22, 1954. Wife of Robert Patrick. Grandmother to Makayla and Adam Patrick and Tristan and Tenley Worthy and stepmother to Andrew Patrick (Mandy) and Sherri Patrick-Worthy (Karen Worthy). Aunt to Jenna Millican (Ross), Maya Scherr-Willson, Ilya Golovaty, and Sarah Willson.
Survived by brothers Richard Willson (Robin Scherr) of Los Angeles, California and Ian Willson (Natasha) of Seattle, Washington and stepmother Patricia Moore of Windsor, Ontario.
Parents William and Jean McLean Willson raised Katherine in a house designed by her mother. She visited Japan and England as a child, and enjoyed horseback riding, the music of the 1960’s, and writing poetry. Katherine generously supported her younger brothers as they grew up.
BAKER, Roger Frank - It is with extremely heavy hearts we announce the passing of Roger Frank Baker. Roger was taken from his family too soon, taking his last breath on Thursday, October 12th, 2017. He was 77 years old.
Loving husband to Janet (nee Godfrey) for 51 years, amazing father to Shelley and Greg (Karin) and proud Papa to Maddison, Tyson, Nathan and Noah. He was the foundation of our family, our rock, a constant source of laughter, support and love.

MARLEAU, Jeanette - (1933 - 2017) - Passed away peacefully at Ian Anderson House after a courageous battle with cancer on Thursday, October 12, 2017 with her family by her side.
She will be remembered always by her loving husband of 46 years, Ron Marleau. She will be missed by her son Christopher (Christine).

COSTA, Januario Santos - (1960 - 2017) - It is with deep sadness and a heavy heart that our family announces the passing of Januario Santos Costa on October 11th, 2017.
Dear son of the late Maria and Manuel Costa. He passed away at the early age of 57 at the Credit Valley Hospital surrounded by his beloved and devoted wife Rosa and family.
He fought a long and difficult battle against cancer, never losing his faith, optimism or his infectious smile. He leaves behind his loving wife of 67 years, Marie (Cuthill). Son Marc (Rhonda) and daughter Karen Burke (Ed Dixon).
John was a fun-loving grandfather and will be missed by Neil (Sarah), Christopher (Chantal), James, Amanda Burke, Emily Burke and Julia Burke.
A Hamilton native, John enjoyed a long career at the International Harvester before retiring to spend more time with family and pursue his true passion, wine making. He won many awards for his wine in Canada and internationally, including "Grand Champion Amateur Winemaker of Ontario."

WELLUM, Dr. Colin LeRoy (D.C.) - Colin was taken home to be with his Lord at Cama Woodlands Nursing Home in Burlington, in the early morning hours on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at the age of 87.
Dr. Wellum graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto in 1955. He was the founder of the Wellum Chiropractic Clinic, and practiced in Burlington for 43 years, from 1955-1998. Dr. Wellum was also a charter member of Trinity Baptist Church in Burlington, where he has been involved since 1972.
He was the faithful and loving husband of Joan Connell Wellum (nee Mills) to whom he was happily married for 63 years. Cherished father of Rev. Kirk Wellum (Debbie) of Ancaster, Dr. Colin Wellum Jr. (Margaret) of Burlington, Jonathan Wellum (Heidi) of Campbellville, Dr. Stephen Wellum (Karen) of Louisville, Kentucky, and the late Christina Wellum.

Ruth will be remembered by many of her students from General Brock High School starting in 1968 where she taught food service and later a guidance counsellor, retiring in 1983.
