Peter will be lovingly remembered by his Nieces, Nephews and friends in both Canada and Serbia.

Peter came to Canada in 1958 and started working at Dofasco. He later attended school and graduated with an engineering diploma.

 

Warman MikeWARMAN, Michael Kenneth 'Mike' - Peacefully, at Princess Margaret Hospital on Tuesday, November 21, 2017, in his 64th year, following an eight-year battle with Leukemia. His wife Pat was by his side.

Mike was the beloved husband and best friend of Pat (nee Syme) for 39 years.

He is also survived by his brother Dave and his wife Karin, brother- and sister-in-law Ian and Sonja Syme, nieces and nephews Ashley and Greg, A.J., Craig, Brandon and Kaitlyn, and our newest addition, great-niece Addyson.

Mike was predeceased by his parents, Ken and Marg Warman, and his parents-in-law, Bridget and Andrew Syme.

 

JONES, Muriel Winnifred (nee Johnstone) - Passed away at Billings Court on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at the age of 95.

Beloved wife of the late Richard James Leslie Jones (1991). Predeceased by her son Mike. Loving mother to Susan Lalonde (Gerry), Pam Fleming and daughter in law Sue Jones.

Cherished grandmother to Shaun (Rachel), Danielle (Jim), Heather, Samantha (Christian Bessette), Melanie (Scott), and Denise. Great grandmother to Pat, Tom, Ty, Cody, Aaron and Hayley.

 

McCowan DavidMcCOWAN, David - (June 29, 1968 – November 21, 2017) - Passed away tragically on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at the age of 49.

David will be forever and lovingly remembered by his children Kimberly (Danny) and Jesse (Corey) McCowan, his parents George and Irene, his brother Kenneth (Dawn), sister Linda (Jason), mother of his children Valerie McCowan, as well as his nieces and nephews who fondly refer to him as “Didi” and “Grizzly Bear”.

Helmut Hartmann, beloved husband of Sigrid. Loving father of Harold (Jennifer ) and David (Erin). Cherished opa to Derian and Ethan.

Helmut is survived by his sister Waltraut (Joe Oswald). He will be sadly missed by his brothers-in-law; Harry Woldenga (the late Lydia), the late Herman Woldenga (Helga), Bernhard Woldenga (Anna), Helmut Woldenga (Muriel) and the entire Hartmann family in Germany.

KNOEPFLI, Richard - Peacefully passed away on Monday, November 20, 2017 at the Georgetown Extendicare in his 84th year.

He is survived by his wife, Ottilia, of 62 years, along with his children, Charlie (Debbie), Bruno (Lorraine), Sonja (Ian), Rick (Lisa) and Monica (Bill) as well as his many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

 

Martin SharonMARTIN, Sharon Lilly (Brown) - Peacefully on Monday November 20th, 2017 at Brampton Civic Hospital, after a sudden stroke at home the day before. Sharon was 72 years old.

She was the beloved wife of David Martin, loving mother of Lilly, Bob (Barb), and Melanie (Darshan).  Adoring Nanny of True, Evening, Evan, Eric and Scarlett.

Sharon will be missed by her dear brothers Bob (Debbie) and Rick (Leanne), as well as her nieces, nephews, and many friends.

 

Brown RayBROWN, Raymond Millar 'Ray' - After a short but brave battle with cancer and with his loving family by his side, it is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Ray on November 20th, 2017 at the age of 72.

He leaves behind his loving wife Jill, his best friend and soul mate of 46 years. I will love you forever. Ray will also be missed by his amazing and loving children, Jamie & Sarah, Raymond (Jr) & Lisa and Melissa & Chris. He would often say, “how did I deserve these great kids?"

Ray enjoyed spending time with his adorable grandchildren, Elizabeth, Kyle, Isobel, Lily, Reco and Georgia. He loved them very much.

 

ARNOLD, Mavis - (December 17, 1925 - November 20, 2017) -  It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of Mavis at Allendale Care Home in Milton.

Mavis came to Milton as a war bride from Birkenhead, England in 1947.

Predeceased by her husband Jack. Will be missed by daughter Joyce. Mavis worked as receptionist at EC Drury School and had a great love of travel and nice wine. She will be missed by six nephews.

Sharon will be sorely missed by her loving husband Garry of 47 years and her sons Glendon and Adam and her daughters-in-law Mica and Maggie.

Sharon was so proud of her young granddaughters Ava Melody, Emma Lauren and Carly Marie and they will miss their grandma dearly.

Josip was born and raised in Croatia where he became a teacher. His varied life interests included nature, photography, sports, and acting. The next chapter began in 1969, when Josip and his new family moved to Canada. It was challenging but with hard work and dedication he forged a productive life both personally and in business.
