Davies RuthDAVIES, Ruth Ann (Wylie) - (June 8, 1922 – October 9, 2017) - Ruth passed away peacefully at the Waterford Long Term Care in Oakville.

Loved by predeceased husband of 61 years Phillip J Davies & daughter Barbara Worth. Deeply missed by surviving children; Susan and Mike Stevens, Art Worth, Phillip Davies and Nicole Thibault, and Nancy and Mark Demerling.

Her 5 grandchildren, Matthew Worth, Grace and Joshua Demerling, Danica and Renee Davies were her greatest joy.

Ruth will be remembered by many of her students from General Brock High School starting in 1968 where she taught food service and later a guidance counsellor, retiring in 1983.

Ruth then taught Aqua fit at the Y, volunteered reading to the blind and was active in the Nelson Youth Center & Port Nelson United Church.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Waterford who took great care of Mom through her final years.

A private interment will be at the Burlington Memorial Gardens. Arrangements entrusted with Smith's funeral homes, Burlington.
