Frehs_DennisIt is with great sadness that we mourn the loss of Dennis Frehs. Dennis was surrounded by his loving family when he passed on from this world, March 8th, 2014.

Born February 5th, 1939, Dennis is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Joyce Frehs.

He will be missed by his beloved daughter Diana Reid, her husband Robert and his loving son, Douglas Frehs, and his girlfriend Margie Carnahan.

He will be sadly missed by his big sister and best friend Arlene Frehs and his five grandchildren, Quentin, Jayden, Briar, Lauren and Mya.

Beloved husband of Jean. Loving father to Jodi and Craig Hall, Jennifer and Richard Ponsonby, Jeffrey and Tammy Gilberds.

John's pride and joy were his eight grandchildren: Zachary, Kyle, Matthew, Nicole, Hannah, Charlotte, Jaime-lyn and Tyler.

John will be remembered by brother Jim and his wife Gail and their children.

John's passion was playing golf and he will be missed by the many friends he made at the golf course.

A celebration of John's life will be held on Saturday, April 5th in Georgetown. Cremation has taken place.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Ontario Lung Association would be greatly appreciated.

Aunt Penny will be forever remembered as the "other mother" to Rick Taylor (Susan), Margaret Stanley (Dave) Bob Taylor (Nancy), and Adrianne Penny Marsh (Dean).

She is predeceased by her beloved sisters Dee, Betty, Ann, May, and by her dear brother-in-law Eric. "Grandma" to Rick, Sherry, Susie, Brett, Brad, Erica, Deanne; and "Great-Grandma" to Brianna, Brandolyn, and Madison.

A heartfelt thank you to her beloved friend and caregiver Anna. She will be sadly missed by many other extended family and close friends.

Penny spent 35 proud years working at Robert Simpson Company.

A funeral service will be held in Oakville on Friday, March 14, 2014.

Jim started working for Dominion store when he was 15 and spent over 40 years with the company. He was the first Auxiliary officer sworn in by Hamilton Police in 1963 and volunteered for almost 50 years.

Anne was a long time employee at the head office of the Bank of Nova Scotia and retired from there in 1996.
