She will be fondly remembered by her sister-in-law Betty, nieces Joan, Linda and Claire; nephews Frank, Ian and Stephen as well as many McPherson family members in the Grand Valley and Toronto areas, and by Lynn and Herb in Ottawa.
Susan had a special connection to Bruce and Marion MacNab's family for the past 62 years, affectionately known to them as Sue-lee. They will all miss the unwavering support of a wonderful family friend who was there in so many ways to help out. The devotion was reciprocated.
Susan was a longtime volunteer for the Milton District Hospital Auxiliary and was equally supportive of Allendale. She would quietly remind us that the first Queen of England was from Scotland.
We now say goodbye to our quiet, gentle friend, so proud of her Scottish heritage, and one who epitomized what a Queen should be.
A funeral service will take place in Milton on Thursday August 7th.
Sincere thanks to Susan's neighbours on Wakefield for watching out for her and to the wonderful staff at Allendale.
