(May 22, 1934 – January 31, 2015)

After a valiant and extended battle with cancer, Bill peacefully passed on January 31, 2015 at the Georgetown Hospital in his 81st year.

Loving husband of Ann for 55 years and dear father of Ron (Charmaine) and Scott (Jayne). Proud “Grandpa” of Jeff (Mallory), Ben (Michelle), Caitlin (Justin), Chad (Laura) and Travis. Great grandfather of Nathan and Owen.

Bill will be fondly remembered by his extended family and large network of friends.

The family would like to extend a “thank you” to all the staff at the Georgetown Hospital for their care and compassion.

Arrangements out of Acton. Friends are invited to meet the family at Knox Presbyterian Church, 116 Main Street South, Georgetown on Wednesday, February 4th at 11 a.m.  Cremation will follow.

Remembrances to C.A.S of H.H. would be appreciated.

Mallozzi_AngeloAngelo Mallozzi passed away on January 31, 2015 at the age of 91 in his home in Oakville, Ontario after courageously battling cancer.

He was a good father to his children and lived by example.

He was the beloved husband of Antonietta Mallozzi.

Born in Italy in 1924, he immigrated to Canada in 1955 and raised a family of six children.

He is survived by his children Nina, Nancy, Carmine, Tom, Lily, and David. He has 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Funeral will be held in Oakville on Wednesday, February 4th.

We will miss you nonno!

(December 22, 1916 - January 31, 2015) - Peacefully at Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hospital in her 99th year.

Survived by her brother Richard (Dick) Harris and his wife Barbara. Special aunt to Janet Morgan(Chris) and John Harris (Iconie) of Belize.

Noël graduated from nursing at Sick Children’s Hospital and later had a long successful career at Aero Tool Works. In retirement, she travelled and spent winters in Florida with the Dillmans. In Toronto, a great interest was duplicate bridge at Barbara Seagram’s.

Funeral Service will be held in Oakville on Wednesday, February 4th.

In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada or a charity of your choice.

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Gerard VandenBerg, at Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital, on Saturday, January 31, 2015, at the age of 86.

Beloved husband of Riet, beloved father of Marian Savio (Allen), Dorien VandenBerg and Yvonne Bergmann (Larry). Proud grandfather of Paul Savio, Nancy Savio, Trevor Bergmann (Lauren), Krista Stoesz (Josh), and great-grandfather of Elliott Bergmann.

Gerard was known in Burlington as the owner and operator of Village Square Florist, he was a former member of the Rotary Club of Burlington, and a 50 year member of Port Nelson United Church.

A Funeral Service will be held at Port Nelson United Church, 3132 South Drive, Burlington at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, February 5th - a special day that marks Gerard's and Riet's 60th wedding anniversary. Interment at Burlington Memorial Gardens.

Ada was the loving wife of the late Norman Ward.

Dear sister of Marjorie (deceased), Jack (deceased) and Mavis. Proud mother of Janice Recchia (Mario) of Georgetown and Alison Green (Jasper) of Georgetown. Dear grandmother of Michelle Green (Tony) of Acton, Erika (Susan) of Acton and Melinda Agro (Angelo) of Hamilton and great-grandmother of Hayley, Braedon, Courtenay and Tori.

A special thanks to the caring staff at the Bennett Healthcare Centre. Thank you Tina for your above and beyond care for our Mother during her final moments.

Funeral service will be held in Georgetown on Wednesday, February 4th, followed by interment.

Wheler_Jodii(1973 - 2015) - With great sadness the family of Jodii Wheler (nee Sandberg) mournes her loss.  Jodii fought a long battle as a result of complications from diabetes and passed away peacefully at the Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hospital on January 31, 2015.

Jodii will be greatly missed by her husband Cam and young son Trenton.  Her Mother and Father, Pat and Lorne Sandberg of Oakville.  Her sisters Carol Ayton (John) and Deb Swance (Dean) and brother Dave Sandberg (Pat).  Her nieces Lyndsay, Kristyn and Paige and nephews Mike, Sean, Colton, Logan, Matthew, Josh and her loyal friend Joanne Dixon.

Jodii was a bright light to all that knew her.  She had many friends and was always quick to share a joke, smile and a big hug.

A celebration of Jodii's life will be held in Oakville on Thursday, February 5th.

Donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association in lieu of flowers would be appreciated by the family.

It is with profound sadness that his family announces the sudden passing of Frank, while vacationing in Florida, in his 89th year.

Beloved husband of 49 years of the late Ida Mae (nee Downey - 2001). Dear father, mentor and friend of Patricia and her husband Alan Greyson, Jane and her husband Garry Lawrence, Allan and his wife Lynda and Amy and her husband Jeff Thomblison. Proud Grandpa and Papa of Kate (Justin), Kailin and Karin (Corey) Lawrence, Alexander Ball and Jamie, Quinn and Brennan Thomblison. They were the lights of his life.

Frank will also be greatly missed by his sister Florence McInnis, his sister-in-law Frances Ball and his dear friend Ruth Watson. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Frank was a shining example of how to live life to the fullest. If he wasn't smiling, he was whistling a tune. We will forever miss hearing his laugh, the twinkle in his eyes and the sound of his fiddle.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church, 181 Sewell Drive, Oakville on Wednesday, February 11th at 10 a.m. Reception to follow. Interment at a later date in Nakina.

Survived by her beloved husband of 67 years, Warren. Dear mother of Geoffrey (Elaine), Candy (Wayne) Mullins, Graham (Ruth Blakely), and Stacey (Graham) Laird.

Cherished grandmother of Scott (Deborah), Laura (Frank) Veal, Garrett, Hollie, Kim (Andrew) Hanson, Sarah Birkbeck (Javier Segura), Helen (Chad) Arnold, and Griffith. Proud great-grandmother of Owen, Hugo, Esme, Evie, Elyse, Liam, Gabriel, Lillian, and Lukas.

Beloved sister of Jean Gaskin and predeceased by brother Donald. Audrey will be sadly missed by extended family and friends.

She loved music, art, hooking and sewing but first and foremost, Audrey loved her family. Audrey was a proud member of over 30 years of the Mississauga Rug Hookers Guild and the Ontario Hooking Craft Guild. Long-time member of the Roseland Park and Country Club.

Memorial service in Burlington on Wednesday, February 4th. Private cremation has taken place.

Born in Corby England, a longtime resident of Burlington of 52 years.

Survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Marlene (nee Maltman). Loving father of Craig (Kim), Scott (Sharon), Rhonda (Kevin), and Karen (Bob). Proud Papa of Christopher, Sean, Samantha, Jessica, Connor, and Haleigh. Joe will be sadly missed by extended family and friends.

Family would like to thank Dr. Randy Cross and Dr. Colin Schieman, and many thanks to the wonderful staff at The Carpenter Hospice for their kindness and care.

Joe was a proud member of Local 105 IBEW for approximately 45 years. He will be remembered for his strong work ethic, his honesty and kindness. Above and beyond anything else, Joe was never happier than when he was surrounded by his loving family.

Service of Remembrance will be held in Burlington on Sunday, February 8th. Private cremation has taken place.

Alma was a dedicated school teacher for over 40 years. Alma taught ESL to adults, primary and secondary school, special ed and cooking classes. Alma will be remembered for her gourmet cooking, dinner parties and incredible curry.

The family would like to thank all of her friends, family and caregivers who helped and supported her through her struggle with ALS.

Funeral and committal service will be held in Georgetown on Monday, February 2nd. Cremation.

Bob is survived by his caring brother Glen, and will be dearly missed by his extended family and friends. Predeceased by his parents Reg and Betty Jackson.

Special thank you to St. Joseph’s Hospital and Juravinski Hospital for the wonderful care given to Bob.

A Funeral Liturgy will take place in Burlington on Monday, February 2nd. Bob requested that bright colours be worn, as his wish was to have his life celebrated and not mourned. Cremation to follow.

Cherished grandmother of Hayden, Julia, Olivia and Robbie. Also remembered by her twin brother, Don Morgan (Gloria), sister-in -law Sharon Boon, brother Bill Morgan (predeceased), and sister Joan Morgan, and her nieces and nephew.

Private Cremation will take place. A Celebration of Life will take place in the Spring for family and friends to remember the courageous, strong and inspirational woman. Her strength will never be forgotten.
