Passed away with his family by his side on March 21, 2015 at the Groves Memorial Hospital in Fergus in his 91st year.

He will be deeply missed by Maria, his wife of 68 years and his children: Jacoba Near (Earl) of Guelph, Evelyne Near (Glen) of Arthur and John Van den Brink (Sandy) of Alberta.

John will be lovingly missed by his 8 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, extended family and many friends.

John worked for the Town of Halton Hills and was a volunteer firefighter until his retirement.

Memorial service will be held in Acton on Wednesday, March 25th, followed by interment.

Remembrances to the Canadian Cancer Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

Beloved wife of Srdan, loving mother of Suncica and Stefan.

Loved daughter of Bakira Skocibusic and the late Mato.

Treasured daughter-in-law of Dana and Zarko Avlijas; forever remembered by her sister, Sandra Skocibusic, brother-in-law Samir, and niece Sara.

A celebration of life service will be held in Burlington on Saturday, March 28th.

Beloved husband for 57 years of Helen.

Cherished father of Len (Heather) and Donna (Jim). Predeceased by his daughter Brenda (Mark).

Proud papa of Brian, Jessica, Sarah, Jeff and Spencer. Also survived by his sister Georgina.

Visitation will be held at the GLEN OAKS FUNERAL HOME AND CEMETERY, 3164 Ninth Line, Oakville (at Dundas St.) 905-257-8822 on Sunday, March 22nd from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and Monday from 12-1 p.m. followed by funeral service at 1 p.m. in the Glen Oaks chapel.

The family would like to offer their sincere gratitude to the ICU staff at Mississauga Trillium Hospital for making Len's last weeks as comfortable and pain-free as possible.

John Dudgeon, lover of family, friends, music and travel was revered by those who had the pleasure to know him. He left the world a better place by making the people around him happy.

John died peacefully Friday, March 20, 2015 at Milton District Hospital surrounded by close family. He was 72.

John is survived by his wife of 44 years, Helena; his sons Michael (Linda), Christopher (Margot) and Ryan (Ashley). He is missed by granddaughters Loren, Isabel, Morgan, Gabriela and by his sister Joan.

He was born in Orangeville and grew up in Parkdale of Toronto before moving and raising a family in the west end of the GTA.

Our sincere thanks go to the excellent medical staff at Credit Valley and Milton District hospitals for the fine care he received.

Visitation will be held at J. Scott Early Funeral Home, 21 James Street, Milton (905) 878-2669 on Wednesday, March 25 from 2 - 6 p.m. to celebrate John's life. A service of remembrance will begin at 5:30 p.m.

Holko_PaulinaPeacefully with her children by her side, one day after her 96th birthday, Paulina Josephina Holko passed away at Creek Way Village on Friday, March 20, 2015.

Predeceased by her loving husband John (2000).

Cherished mother to her only son Edward and his wife Marjorie. Loving Babcia to Tamara and Kimberley, step-Babcia to Michael and Amy and great-Babcia to nine great-grandchildren.

Paulina was an avid gardener with a green thumb that could grow just about anything. Whether it was from a seed, a pit, or a spent flower, everything she touched flourished.

A special heartfelt thank you to the staff at Creek Way Village. Thank you seems inadequate, your loving care and compassion will never be forgotten. Paulina was treated like family. Forever etched in our mind and hearts is the beautiful and heartwarming exit of the building being draped with the Quilt of Dignity.

Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Tuesday, March 24th from 3-5 and 7-9p.m.

Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at St. Gabriel’s Roman Catholic Church, 2261 Parkway Drive, Burlington on Wednesday, March 25th at 11a.m. Interment.

Beloved wife for over 50 years of the late Donald Jenkins.

Cherished aunt of John Hobbs, Anne Elizabeth Malta (Greg), Mary Katherine Colasurdo (Joe), and great nieces and nephews, Mikaela, Brady, Eric and Angelina.

Betty enjoyed a long and successful career as an administrative assistant and assistant manager of Beneficial Finance. She was a former member of Glendale Golf and Country Club, former president of Junior Business Women's Club and former Regent of Battlefield Chapter IODE.

"Aunt Betty," as she was affectionately known, was an avid gardener, golfer and baker who will be missed by all her family and friends.

A Celebration of Life at Birkdale Place Retirement Community, 611 Farmstead Rd., Milton, Ontario on Friday, April 3rd at 2 pm.

Predeceased by her parents Ludwig and Matilda Froehlich, sisters Herta and Elice, brother Eric and her niece Donna. Survived by her sister Ruth and brother Gary. She will be missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends, especially Dusanka Sobot.

An avid hockey fan, Gilly was also a longtime player with the Burlington Oldtimers Hockey Club with The Granddads and The Geriatrics. He also had a love/hate relationship with the game of golf.

Gerry is a retired employee of Canada Post, member of the Austrian Club and Past Master of Dufferin Lodge 291 in Flamborough.

It is with great sadness our family shares the passing of Onofrio (Ono) Manna on Wednesday, March 18, 2015, at the age of 83. Ono passed peacefully at Humber River Regional Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

Beloved husband of Diana Manna. Proud father of Laurie (Helmut) and Stephen (Dana). Loving, kind and gentle grandfather of Amanda, Gabrielle, Adam, and Mikaela. Caring uncle to nieces and nephews.

Born on August 6, 1931 in the small town of Cerasa, Le Marche, Onofrio was the second son of the late Nicola and Anna-Maria Manna. Caring brother of the late Pietro Manna and Marco Manna, and survived by his sister Stella Monti.

Onofrio was "cento percento Marchigiano." His gentle and loving spirit will always be remembered and cherished by those lives he has touched.

Funeral services will be held at St. Margaret Mary Roman Catholic Church, 8500 Islington Avenue, Woodbridge on Saturday, March 21st at 10:30am. Burial to follow in Etobicoke.
