YOUNG, Jean Easton -
Jean went home to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on Saturday, May 12, 2012.
As cherished wife of HAP (1921-1978), Jean lived an exciting life that took her from Glasgow to Toronto, and abroad through Colombia, Peru, & Aruba.
After 10 years abroad, the Lord blessed HAP and Jean with two daughters. Jean was the precious mother of Leslie and Jeri, loved mother-in-law of Joel Kissack, loved grandma of Jessica and Tyler, and Aunt to Elsie, Annette, Phyllis, Rick, Debbie, and David. Jean was predeceased by her parents, William and Mary Miller of Glasgow, Scotland, as well as her brothers William and Richard, and her sister Mae Gibbs.
The family extends its deepest appreciation to all of the compassionate staff at Allendale LTCH Milton, especially Allen and Halton Houses, Dr. Hunter, Dr. Arumugam and Dr. Wong.

Born on March 10, 1958 in Hamilton, peacefully passed away on Friday, May 11, 2012 at the Juravinski Hospital in Hamilton.
Beloved son of Bob and Ruth Hodgson of Stoney Creek, ON. Sadly missed by his sister Lori (Kevin) and brother Rob. Cherished uncle to Lisa, Amanda and Kyle. Will be remembered by Barbara and his stepchildren, Jamie and Ashley Sportun. Dearly loved by his Aunt Audrey, Aunt Joan (Keith), Aunt June, cousins, and his many friends.
Larry was active in real estate in the Hamilton and Burlington area and played touch football for over 30 years with the Golden Horseshoe Touch Football Association (Burl). He was inducted into the Golden Horseshoe Touch Football League Hall of Fame in 2002.

Peacefully passed away at St. Joseph 's Villa on Wednesday, May 9, 2012 in his 84th year.
Dearly loved by son Dane (Mary) and daughters Carla Andreeff (Robert) and Starr Andreeff. Remembered fondly by his grandchildren Katherine Ann, Louise and Nicholas Andreeff.
Carl retired after 44 years of service at Dofasco as a Tin Mill Supervisor. He grew up on Beach Road and dearly loved it there. Carl was an incredible athlete. He was a member of the 1947 Hamilton Junior Wildcat Junior Championship and played competitive baseball and basketball. Carl loved the warm weather of Florida and traveled south every year.
A proud Man and a proud Father. His children were so very grateful to have him as their Father. He will be missed dearly.

Scientist, chemist, engineer, mentor and inventor: loving and beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
A man of great strength, intensity, creativity and exceptional intelligence, Rudi was born in Kosice, Czechoslovakia on January 6, 1934, surviving both the Second World War and Communism.
Arriving in Canada in 1965 and starting from scratch, he built a remarkable and fulfilling life for himself and his family. With his pure white hair and piercing blue eyes, Rudi was brilliant, distinguished and larger than life. He was the consummate host, a lover of good wine and one of the two-percent. He loved life and hated laziness, living and working with passion, fire and unbridled energy.
He fought his illness as he lived - with strength, bravery, courage and humour. Respected, admired, accomplished, adored and deeply loved, Rudi was a proud and honourable man whom we are all proud and honoured to know.
Survived by his wife Katarina, his children Karol (Edita) and Caroline (and Mark), loving grandchildren Karolina (and Robert), Tomas, Samuel, Jacob, Charlotte and Katarina. Great grandfather to Isabella.

An educator for fifty years, Doug began his career in Huron County and taught later in the City of Peterborough and the University of Toronto Schools.
In 1954, he was appointed Inspector of Public Schools in Norfolk County and subsequently as Superintendant Public Schools and Assistant Director of Education in Burlington and Halton County, Director of Education for the City of Ottawa and Senior Official in the Ministry of Education. He co-authored books in mathematics and handwriting used in Canadian schools.
Active in the community, Doug was a member of the Burlington Central Lions Club, the Burlington Golf and Country Club, Burlington Curling Club and Wellington Square United Church.
A Funeral Service will be held at Wellington Square United Church, 2121 Caroline Street, Burlington, on Monday May 14, 2012 at 11 a.m. with reception to follow at the church. Private Interment.

Elaine was born in Kitchener, Ontario in 1935. Elaine and John were married in July 1957; the next years proved to be very busy as they raised 4 children and moved across Canada in support of John’s career, ultimately settling in Mississauga in 1971.

Passed away peacefully at the Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital, Burlington on Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at the age of 93. Garth Webb, beloved companion and best friend of Lise Cooper.
Predeceased by his first wife Camilla (nee Cunningham). Dear father of Susan, Andrew (Ruth Hall), Peter (Patricia Allan) and step father of Don Cooper and Susan Mousseau. Cherished grandfather and great-grandfather of 12 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Garth will be sadly missed by his sister Patricia Atkinson and his special nephew Mike Sexsmith, as well as his many friends.
Garth grew up in Calgary and attended Queen’s University until he enlisted with the 14th Field Regiment of the Royal Canadian Artillery. He fought on “D-Day” through North West Europe into Germany. Garth returned to Queen’s following the war and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce. Garth went on to become a Real Estate Appraiser and formed Garth S. Webb & Associates.
A lifelong fan of the Toronto Blue Jays, Maple Leafs and Argonauts. Garth was the President and founder of the Juno Beach Centre Association, which saw the creation of the Juno Beach Centre in Normandy, France, for which he was awarded the Meritorious Service Cross, the Minister of Veterans Affairs Commendation and made a member of the French Legion of Honour.
September 2012 will see the opening of Garth Webb Secondary School in Oakville.

Randolph Patrick O’Connor, 65, died unexpectedly May 7, 2012, of a stomach aneurism at Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital in Burlington. He was born Oct. 8, 1946 in Toronto, Ontario.
Randy is predeceased by Father Edward and Mother Nina (née Welsby) O’Connor.
He is survived by his soul mate and dearly loved wife, Debbie (née Riffert), and beloved pets, Nelson and Julie, and his aunt Bernice Otto and cousin Dale Otto.
Randy treasured the simple things in life like basking in the backyard sun and trips to Florida with Debbie. He also enjoyed entering into football, hockey & baseball pools with buddies and was known for his delight in pulling practical jokes.
He will be dearly missed by his nieces and nephew, family and friends.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2012 in Burlington. Randy’s final resting place will be in Bradford on Saturday, May 12 at 4:00 p.m.

The mining business was his passion. He worked in many different countries during his early career, then spent several years on Bay Street in Toronto. For the last 25 years, he led and consulted for many companies. He enjoyed the many friends he made in the business over the years.
A celebration of Paul's life will be held in Oakville, on Saturday, May 19th.

William (Bill) Henry Cunningham, born August 8, 1953, died unexpectedly at his home in Guelph, ON on Sunday, May 6, 2012.
Born in Providence, R.I., he was the son of William B. and the late Mary Ann (Fowler) Cunningham, who moved to Bill’s ‘home town’ of Sackville, NB within the first year of his life.
Upon graduation from high school, Bill moved to Ontario, being employed at various times in the Greater Toronto Area, Hamilton, Owen Sound and Guelph.
Besides his father, of Sackville, NB, Bill is survived and will be deeply missed by his daughter Lisa and son-in law Jesse Forrest of Acton, ON.; his son Randy and daughter in-law Carrie of Petawawa, ON; three sisters, Marilyn Cunningham of Moncton, NB, Lorinda Cormier of Regina, SK, and Michelle Cunningham of Moncton, NB; three brothers, Norbert of Petitcodiac, NB, Randy of Moncton, NB and Bruce of Regina, SK; two step-sisters, Kathy Treash and Susan Treash of Sackville, NB., two step-brothers, Martin Treash of Orillia, ON. and Andrew Treash of Toronto, ON; as well as many nieces, nephews, and a large extended family of cousins.
The funeral service will be conducted by The Rev. Canon J. Mark Tiller in Acton on Monday at one o’clock.

Terry is predeceased by his wife Colette.
