Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Joanne and Fred Bidini, Chris Chahley and Kathy Coyle, and Wayne and Sharon Chahley, and proudest Grammy and Great-Grammy of their famillies.

Loving sister and best friend of Helen McIntosh Darling, the late Virginia Cameron-Lang and the late Frances Francis, and much-loved Aunt Mar to their families.

Lover of life, children and animals, flowers, music, small kindnesses and carefully chosen words. Gracious, good-hearted, good-natured and unfailingly polite, she will be very missed.

A Celebration of Life service will be held in Oakville on Friday, September 12th.

The family extends deepest gratitude to Maxine Blake and June Chambers, for their superb compassionate care, and sincere thanks to the wonderful staff of The Westbury LTC Residence.

Beloved husband of Betta Hoeve. Devoted father and stepfather to Jacqueline, Dianne and Barbara. Loving Grandpa to Jérémy, Naomi, Spencer, Julian, Karina and Martins.

Pat will be missed by Freda, Domenic, Eriks, Rudy, Gérard and his extended family and many friends in Canada, England and Holland.

Pat has been cremated. A Celebration of his life will be held in Burlington on Saturday, September 13th.

Vitoria Garfoli, wife of the late George Badura (2004).

Beloved mother of Frances and Gary Scott of Grimsby and Paul Badura of Toronto. Survived by brother Joe (Maria) Garfoli of Hamilton.

Vittoria was born in Italy and raised in France. She immigrated to Canada and married George. Settling in Hamilton, she trained and worked as an RNA at St. Joseph's Hospital.

Family and Friends will gather at Our Lady Of Mercy Catholic Church, 58 Dundurn St. N., for a funeral Mass of Christian burial, Saturday September 13th at 9:45 a.m.  Interment Hamilton. Arrangements out of Acton.

In lieu of flowers, donation to the Parkinson's Foundation or The Beamsville 4 Paws Rescue would be appreciated.

Cherished grandfather of Tina, Brennan, Christopher, Jeffrey, Natalie, Catherine, Daniel and Lucas and great grandfather of Grayson and Savannah.

Angelo will be dearly missed by his brothers Tony (Marge) and Severin (Phyllis), sister in-law Angela as well as Maria Albanese, Antoinette Aquino (Tony), Louie Albanese (Linda), Nancy LeDonne (Sam), Dominic Albanese (Debbie) and Jim Albanese (Kathryn) and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Predeceased by his parents Rocco and Paola Di Cecca and brother John Di Cecca, brothers in-law Ross Albanese and John Albanese and sister in-law Rosie DeLima.

Angelo faced his 3 year battle with cancer with great courage. He died as he lived, peacefully and with dignity. He was always more concerned with how the disease affected his loved ones rather than how it affected himself.

A special thank you to Angelo’s doctors, nurses and caregivers throughout his medical journey, most especially Dr. Juergens for her endless care and compassion.

Funeral Service will be held in Burlington on Friday, September 12th. Interment.

Marjorie just started a new phase in her life at Lakeshore Place in Burlington where she was enjoying a life of social events and being waited on hand and foot. This made her time there very happy.

A Funeral Service will be held at Brant Hills Presbyterian Church, 2138 Brant Street, Burlington on Thursday, September 11th at 2 p.m. Cremation to follow.

Always dignified, always hopeful, always beautiful. An inspiration to many, particularly those with cancer and cancer-related illnesses.

Shelagh is survived by her husband Gerry, and treasured and missed by her daughter Lyndsay and son Brad. Dearly missed by her sister Sandra Pickering and brother Lloyd Bradley.

Shelagh was a gold medalist CPA whose career at Horne LLP. Chartered Accountants in Burlington spanned over 25 years. Her greatest satisfaction came from her family, gourmet cooking, sewing and before her illness, rollerblading.

Best friend to her black lab “Mo”, before his passing. Shelagh is remembered by many for her generosity and kindness of heart.

A private family cremation service has taken place.  Memorial Service to be held at Lowville United Church, 5800 Guelph Line, Burlington on Thursday, September 11th at 11:30 a.m.

Doug started a long and successful career in Real-estate Development which began with his architectural education at Ryerson in Toronto. Doug designed and built the home where he and Wendy raised their family then continued his passion in the recently completed Toronto landmarks at Dundas Square, Toronto Life Square (Metropolis) and the Olympic Spirit Building.

Memorial visitation will be held in Burlington on Thursday evening, September 11th. A private service will be held at a later date. Cremation to follow.

Survived by three sisters, Gerda (Jos) VanOpstal, Em Fryters, Fie (Jan) Crooymans, and their families.  Predeceased by her sister Dimph Fitzverplough, brothers Charles Leuris and Toon Leuris.

Johanna will be fondly remembered by family and friends in Rijen, Holland.

Service to take place in Milton on Thursday, September 11th, with Father Peter Tuyen Nguyen officiating.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Hastings Manor Foundation, 476 Dundas Street W., P.O. Box 458, Belleville, Ontario or to the Alzheimer Society.

SWISTARA, John -

 Passed away suddenly on September 5, 2014, in his 76th year. Born in Alliston, Ontario.

Beloved husband of 51 years to Virginia. Loving father of Glen of Fluh, Switzerland, Kathleen (Paul) of Paris, Ontario and Paul (Kim) of St. Thomas, Ontario. Loving dziadziu to Michael, Gabriella, Thomas, Bradley, Anna, Bethany and Rachael.

Predeceased by Anna and Bronislaw (Benny) Swistara.  Loving brother to Jane (Ed) and brother-in-law to Arlene (the late Lutek) and Lori (Larry).

John is survived by many relatives and friends in Canada, the United States and Poland. 

God called him home to heaven as he was on his way to his favourite pastime, a round of golf.

Funeral Service will be held in Burlington on Wednesday, September 10th.

Family request that in lieu of flowers, a donation be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario

Sister of deceased brother, Donald Ling.

Funeral Service and Burial in Burlington on Saturday, September 13th.

Donations can be made on her behalf to the Canadian Heart Association or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
