Au Revoir

It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Dot with her dear nieces at her side.
She was the cherished sister of Trudy (Bob) Sloan and beloved Aunt to Elaine (Saul) Zemaitis, Gayle (John) Laider and Robert (Debbie) Sloan. Wonderful great- aunt to Gary (Kim) and Michael Zemaitis; Robyn, Erin and John Laider; Patricia and Bobby Sloan.
Our sympathies and heartfelt thanks to all the wonderful people Aunt Dot counted as friends that were so supportive through the last 5 months. The list could go on forever but to name just a few, we will forever be grateful to Margaret Bennet (best friend of 54 years), Olga, Gail, Heather, Paul and family and Bill. Aunt Dot has donated her body to McMaster University so there will be no "fuss" but we will inter her remains, when she is done teaching, in New Brunswick which in her heart has always been home.
Thank you also to St. Elizabeth Nurses, Dale Messender and the staff and volunteers at Carpenter Hospice in Burlington for their kindness and wonderful care.
In lieu of flowers, any donations would be greatly appreciated to the Hospice in Aunt Dot's name.
