Peacefully on May 30, 2015 at Ridgeview Long Term Care Centre in her 93rd year, Maria went home to the Lord to be re-united with her beloved husband Giuseppe (1999).

Loving mother of John (Diana), Michele (Christine), and Domenic. Cherished Nonna to eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Sadly missed by many family and friends.

Deepest gratitude to the staff and volunteers at Villa Italia and Ridgeview Long Term Centre.

Resting at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL; 43 Barton St. E., Hamilton, ON on Monday, June 1, from 5-9 p.m. Vigil prayers at 7 p.m.

Predeceased by siblings Harold, Darcy, Russell and Lois. Sadly missed by her niece Mabel.

Margaret was a Registered Nursing Assistant for many years at St. Joseph's Hospital, Brantford.

The family will receive friends at the "THORPE BROTHERS' FUNERAL HOME &CHAPEL", 96 West St., Brantford, ON on Monday, June 1st, 2015 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday, June 2nd, 2015 at 1pm. Interment.

Danny leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews.

Danny was passionate about family, flying and travel, but most of all, his high school sweetheart Karene.

As per his wishes, cremation has taken place.

Friends will be received at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME , 36 Lake Avenue Dr., Stoney Creek, ON on Saturday, May 30, 2015 from 1 - 3 p.m. A private family service will follow.

Beloved wife of Jean for over 61 years. Much loved father of David (Gayle), Jennifer (Ted) Stypulkowski and Michael. Dear grandfather to Ryan, Tiffany, Erika, Amanda & Bentley.

Roy was born in London, England on January 18, 1929. He was predeceased by his parents Lillian & Walter and his sister Betty. He is survived by his brother Eric and sister Elsie in Hornchurch, England.

Roy served in the British Navy before immigrating to Canada in 1957. He then worked for ICI for over 30 years, and was a long standing member of Branch 90 Legion.

He loved watching all sports and was a true Maple Leafs fan.

Family and friends will be received at DENNIS TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford, ON for visitation on Friday, May 29, 2015 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Saturday at 12 noon. Cremation to follow.

Phurn will be dearly missed by Jim Cullen, her loving husband of 71 years. Cherished mother of the late Clifford, Kenneth (Bette), Kathleen, the late Terry, Donald (Dorie), Doug (Maureen), Dennis (Brenda), Sheilah (Don), and the late Rory Sean.

Survived by her sister Doreen Cowan, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Phurn loved knitting, reading, card playing and her dog "Buckwheat".

Sister and sister-in-law of the late Ernesto and the late Maria, the late Raffaele and the late Emilia Evangelista of Italy, the late Luisa and the late Francesco Gionomo, of Hamilton. Predeceased by her brother-in-law, Antonio Di Tommasso and his wife the late Edlvaide of Hamilton.

"Zia Maria" will be fondly remembered by Domenico Gionomo and his wife Rose, Augusto Gionomo and his wife Veneranda, and by numerous nieces and nephews, her long time friends Lidia and Lino Pelone, Yolanda and Domenico Di-Loreto and many more nieces, nephews and friends in Canada, ltaly and the United States.

The family would like to say a special thank you to the staff at Regina Gardens for the care and compassion shown to Maria.

Visitation will be held at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton Street East (near James),  Hamilton, ON Friday, May 29th from 4-9 p.m. Vigil Prayers Friday at 8:00 p.m.

She is predeceased by her husband Gordon (2006). Loving mother of Janice (Ron) Peet and Marilyn (Bill) Shaw. Cherished grandmother to Jodi (Henry) and Kerri (David) and devoted great-grandmother to Darien, Cayley and Alison.

Predeceased by siblings Augustina, Ida and Anthony.

Will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Eva was a proud 42 year member of the Legion Branch 58 and longtime member of the Catholic Women's League. She will always be remembered for her love of family and endless generosity.

Visitation at Markey-Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) Hamilton, ON on Tuesday from 7-9 pm and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm with prayers at 8:30 pm.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Incarnation of Our Blessed Lord Church (Barton at Nash) on Thursday June 4, 2015 at 9:00 am. Interment to follow.

Loved son of Estelle and the late Frederick Holt. Brother of Susan Orton (Larry) and Sherrill Nelson (Rod). Son-in-law of Albert and Mildred Kerr. Brother-in-law to Judy Meertens (John, deceased), Sandie Fodor (Peter) and Jim Kerr (Diane).

A graveside service and interment of ashes will take place in White Chapel Memorial Gardens.

Predeceased by her son-in-law Ernest Boudreau.

Carmella will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, family, neighbours, and friends.

Beloved wife of the late Mario. Devoted and cherished mother of Angelo (Rosa) and Antonio (Laura). Adored Nonna of Margaret (George), John, Mario, Paul (Mary), and Theresa (Franco). Margherita will be deeply missed by her great-grandchildren Emma and Vincent, and her great-grandchildren in Italy.

Predeceased by her brother Giuseppe Iannetta (Clara).

Margherita immigrated to Canada from Italy in 1967, and with her husband and son, they established a life in Canada. Margherita was a devoted woman of faith and attended church regularly. She was known for her nurturing and loving nature, and always available to help her family in anyway necessary. Margherita was most happy when she was in the presence of her family.

A special thank you to all of the staff at the John Noble Home for their compassionate care of Margherita during her time there.

The family will receive friends on Friday, May 29, 2015 at the DENNIS TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford, ON from 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. with prayers to be recited at 8:45 p.m. that evening.

Cherished grandmother of Richard (Gurjeet), Gwendolyn, Kent, Jason (Robyn), and Christopher (Carley). Great-grandmother of Nicholas and Victor. Maria will be fondly remembered by Brian Fraser and his family, and Linda Graovac.

Maria loved nature, loved all animals and gave the best hugs. She will be dearly missed by all of those who knew and loved her.

Beloved wife of the late John McKenzie. Loving mom of John Wayne (Helen), Martin (Karen), the late Richard (Sue), Susan (Ron) Babcock, and Tricia (Dale) McIsaac. Devoted “Nina” to 19 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Marion is survived by her sister Gladys (Tim) Wilkinson, and brother-in-law Ted Mulligan.

Predeceased by her siblings June, Jeanette, Melvin, Phillip, Billy, and Lorraine.

Marion will be deeply missed by her special friends Lil, Wanda, Elsie, and many nieces and nephews.

Marion was a proud and dedicated volunteer with the Brantford Moose Lodge for close to 50 years. She was famous for her incredible baking skills and made the best chocolate chip cookies.

A special thank you to all of the staff at Riverview Terrace, the nurses on the sixth floor of the BGH, and Dr. Male for all their care and compassion.

Devoted Papa of James, Steven, Matthew, Kirsten, Scott (Amber), Tyler, Dean and Kyle. Loving great grandpa of Alexia. Dear brother of Violet (Ed Spera), Allan (Joyce), Robert (Mel), Carol (Jay Marshall), John (Ingrid) and predeceased by George, Shirley, Stan, and Ray.

Remembered by David Roberts, Marg Parker and Helen Roberts, as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Jim was a proud retired Brother of IBEW Local 105, a member of IBEW Local 105 Seniors Club and 24 Fishing Club.

Vistiation will be held at Bay Gardens funeral home, 947 Rymal Road East, Hamilton, Ontario on Saturday, May 30th from 12:00 p.m. until celebration of life begins at 1:00 p.m.

Beloved wife of Chas Yates (2010) for 52 years. Much loved mother of Meg, Dave (Tracey), Mike (Leslie), the late John Yates (Sylvia Pudsey) and her late infant twin sons (1958).

Predeceased by her parents George and Nora Wicks and her brother Charles Wicks.

Treasured Nanny of Kimberly, Jordan, Virginia, Natasha, and Nanna of Damien. Lovingly remembered by her sister Barbara Wicks, her aunt Sheila Harpur, as well as family and friends near and far.

Trish was a retired registered nurse and worked at Brantwood Centre and St. Joseph’s Hospital, after many years at Hotel Dieu Hospital in Cornwall, where she began her nursing career. She volunteered at St. Vincent de Paul Society and St. Pius X Parish for many years and more recently in a program making sleeping mats from milk bags for an African charity.

Gardening, making jam, cross stitch, scrabble, bowling and Saturday pizza gatherings were among her favorite things.

Family and friends will be received at the MCCLEISTER FUNERAL HOME, 495 Park Rd North, Brantford, ON on Sunday, May 31, 2015 from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.

Passed away on May 25, 2015 at the age of 86 leaving behind his beloved wife Jean (née West) of 60 years, his three sons Rio (Yureymis), Vittorio (Missy) & Lorenzo (Meg), his five grandchildren Tara (Kevin), Christopher (Shannon), Melissa (Dustin), and Matthew (Felicia), & Justine, and two great grandchildren Dustin and Ayden. 

Frank retired after proudly co owning and operating the Country Willow Restaurant with his wife  in the village of West Flamborough until the year 1995.

There will be a visitation at Cattel, Eaton, & Chambers Funeral Home, 53 Main St. Dundas, ON on Wednesday, May 27th at 2-4pm and 7-9pm where a memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 28th at 1pm.  A ceremony will be held graveside followed by a reception at the former Country Willow Restaurant at 234 Hwy. 8 in West Flamborough.
