Predeceased by his wife Valerie.

Loving father of Noelle, Kathleen and Brian. Beloved dad of Cleo and Minerva. Cherished grandfather of Giovanna, Arian, Cory, Alexandra and Victoria.

Family will receive friends at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME, 322 Fennell Ave. E., on Sunday, November 23rd from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with Vigil Prayers Sunday at 2 p.m.

Funeral Mass will take place at Most Blessed Sacrament Parish, 305 East 37th St., on Monday, November 24th at 10 a.m. Interment to follow.

Turpin_MikeSuddenly on November 20th, 2014 at Hamilton General Hospital, Mike passed away at the age of 59. 

Devoted husband of Danielle (Crevier). Cherished father of  Amanda and Brad. Grampa will be missed by his grandson and buddy Jesse.  Loved son of Raymond (the late Marie) Turpin.

Dear brother of Denis (Mark), Louis (Angie) and Lise (Peter Danch). Lovingly remembered by many uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Mike will be missed by his fur babies; Liono and Hope.

Mike was a hoisting engineer for Atlas Steel, International Marine and DMI.  He was an avid drag racer and enjoyed playing hard ball for the Welland Old Timers, as well as playing and coaching basketball.  He played basketball for Harpwood Trophies / Temple Club and coached boys' Junior and Senior teams at Confederation High School.

Mike had many friends and was known for always having a smile on his face and a good time.

Funeral service will be held in Welland on Monday, November 24th.

As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association will be appreciated by the family.

Dearly beloved husband of Janina. Cherished father of George (Dianne) and treasured Dziadzi of Allison (Lee), Danielle (Matthew) and Caitlin. Dear "Papa Dziadzi" of Finn, Graeme and Foxx.

Predeceased by his wife Elzbieta.

He served in WWII as a member of the R.A.F. in Great Britain as a radio operator in the 300th Polish Squadron. His plane was shot down and he spent the rest of the war in a P.O.W. camp.

The family will receive friends at the MARKEY DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth Ave.) on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9pm.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated from St. Stanislaus Church on Saturday November 22nd 2014 at 11am. Cremation to Follow.

Devoted son of the late Jose and Maria Oliveira and son-in-law of the late Ernesto and Maria Soares.  Dear brother and brother-in-law of Joao and Cresalida Oliveira, Eduarda and Joao Oliveira, Modesta and Joao Moreira, Neves and Vicente Ferreira, Fatima and Patrick DeStefano and Nelia Soares (Jose Luis).

Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends in Canada and Acores, Portugal.

Brother of the late Raffaela Scibetta, the late Giuseppina and Alfredo Paladino, the late Calogero (Maria) Scibetta, Vincenza and the late Salvatore Polizzi, Tony (Mary) Scibetta, the late Vincenzo and Rosa Scibetta, the late Lucia (Franco) DiGiambattista, Nick Scibetta, Carmelo and Laura Scibetta, and Maria and Elio Pietrantoni.

Brother-in-law to Angelo Sferrazza (the late Maria), Vinzenzo Sferrazza (Ninetta), Lena Mamone (John) (the late Charles Curto), and Antonio Sferrazza.

The family would like to thank Dr. Allega and Giuseppe’s home care nurses Toni and Ramone for the exceptional care.

A Funeral Mass will take place at St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at 10 a.m. Entombment.

Sullivan_MaryPassed away peacefully at the Stedman Community Hospice in Brantford, Ontario on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 in her 87th year.

Mom was the most wonderful Mother to her eight children, Larry, Debbie (Dale Larlee), Danny (Monika), Gord (Joan), Cindy, Todd (Kim), Colleen (1980) and Kenny (Tracey).

She was cherished by her grandchildren Jennifer, Jillian, Anna (Scott), Cameron (Suzie), Jordan, Justin, Kyle, Spencer, Bryce, Garrett, Mitchell and Kenny. She will be sadly missed by her great-grandchild, Esme of 14 weeks who Mom had the pleasure of holding and loving before she passed away.

Mom was a kind and caring sister to Rod (2005, Kay), Joe (1992, Anne), Pearl (Russ), Angus (2007, Muriel), Johnnie (Geraldine) and Thelma (Jacques).

Mom was predeceased by her husband Earl (1989).

Mom was an incredibly selfless individual who always made sure that others needs were met before hers. Everyone she came in contact with, ending up loving her, because of her positive outlook, cheery disposition and unconditional love.

She lived her life to the fullest, even with having to fight with three bouts of cancer. She was a special gift for God and a wonderful role model to us all.

Special thanks to all the personal care workers, nurses and doctors who provided outstanding care for our Mother in her final days.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Eugene’s Parish, 232 Queenston Road in Hamilton on Monday, November 24, 2014 at 10 a.m. Interment to follow.

Visitation will be held at Smithville Christian Reformed Church, 6522 Smithville Road, Smithville on Sunday, November 23rd from 6 - 9 pm.

The funeral service will be held at the Church on Monday, November 24th at 1 pm. Private interment in Fonthill will precede the service.

The family of Doug Vidler sadly announces his passing at Riverside Glen, Guelph with family by his side on Wednesday, November 19, 2014, in his 92nd year.

Douglas Ross Vidler, dear husband of Ellen Iris nee Berry for 63 years. Loving father of Susan Gailer of Rockwood, ON, Judith Burns of Invermere, BC, and Bruce Vidler of Toronto, ON. Inspiring Granddad of Brodie, Justin, Kyle and Darren.

Doug was a WWII Veteran and proud to be a part of the liberation troops landing on D Day at Juno Beach with the Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry Highlanders. While in the Netherlands, as he did everywhere, he established life-long friendships because of his humble, humorous, charming manner.

This proud Canadian will be missed by many.

Arrangements out of Acton.  Friends are welcome to join the family at Woodlawn Cemetery, 708 Niagara St., Welland, Ontario on Monday, November 24th at 1 p.m. for a graveside service.

Bam was an employee of National Steel Car and recently retired after 35 years of dedicated service. Bam was a devoted family man, but also treasured his Mazda RX-7 and enjoyed restoring old cars in his spare time.

Passed away at St. Joseph’s Lifecare Centre on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at the age of 77 years.

Beloved husband of Miriam (nee Paul) for 54 years. Loving father of Margo (Chris) Merritt and Scott (Tammy Graham). Proud grandpa of Brendon, Kellan, Colton, Connor, Maddison and Graham.

Cherished brother of Marilyn (the late Ray) Steele, Dorothy (the late Ron) Barber and Sharon (John) Sharp. Much loved brother-in-law of Ron (Marilyn) Paul. He will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

He was predeceased by his parents Clifford and Dorothy Sutcliffe.

Gordon obtained his Pilot’s License at the young age of 15, and so began his love affair with flying. He later became a commercial pilot where he was able to travel the world.

He loved telling stories and jokes, and also enjoyed cooking. Most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends at the cottage on Beaver Lake.

The family will receive friends at the Church of the Nazarene, 347 Fairview Drive, Brantford on Monday, November 24, 2014 from 1- 2:00 p.m., followed by a Memorial Service at 2:00 p.m.

Donations in memory of Gordon can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the Diabetes Association.

Reunited with her beloved and devoted husband of 56 years Conrad (2006).

Her strength until the end proved how much she loved each and every one of her nine children: Noella (Denis), Giselle (Allan), Dorice (Christine), Maurice (LaGaylia), Carmen (Gerard), Anne-Marie, Rita (Denis), Diane (Paul) and Denise (Randy). She was the best "Mémère" to her 17 grandchildren and their spouses, her 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.

Predeceased by her infant daughter Yvonne Ginette.

Madame to the many school children she met after years as a crossing guard at Ecole elementaire Notre-Dame.

Born and raised in Edmundston, New Brunswick. A hero to many and a friend to all, She will be so dearly missed by her sisters Therese Morin, Camilla Perreault, brother Mike Martin and many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours.

Rev. Duke was blessed to be a minister in many different communities and was privileged to retire from St. John’s Presbyterian Church in September 1986. After his retirement, he served as Interim Moderator at Roxborough Park Church.

Beloved husband of Barbara. Devoted best friend and father of Oliwier Marcinczak and his companion Lindsay and her son Jacoby.

Precious son of Czeslaw and the late Maria Marcinczak of Poland. Dear brother of Elizabeth and her husband Jack Leppek. Sadly missed by his nephew David, his wife Paulina and their daughter Amilia.

He is also survived by many family members in Poland.

Andrzej enjoyed spending his summers in Kaszuby, Ontario, with his best four legged companion Gucio, fishing and picking wild mushrooms.

It is with peaceful hearts that we announce the passing of our father and brother after a long and courageous battle against cancer.

Graham had a passion for music, especially playing the drums, cars, NASCAR racing, CFL football and a good laugh. G

raham is survived by daughter Michelle, son Michael, three grandchildren, his sisters Elaine (Jim), Pauline (Scott), Julie, Trish (Peter) and brother Ian (Jenny) along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Graham was predeceased by his parents, Harold and Irene and brother Keith.

At Graham’s request a private memorial will be held with his family.

The family wishes to thank the outstanding group of healthcare workers at St, Peters Hospital who provided constant care and understanding during a difficult time.

In lieu of flowers contributions in memory of Graham can be made to An Instrument for Every Child or the Canadian Cancer Society.

It is with sadness in our hearts that we announce the passing of John, who died peacefully on Monday, Nov. 17, 2014 in his 68th year after courageously dealing with ALS.

Beloved husband of Kathie for 44 years, loving Father of Jo-anna Goyit (Robbie), Susan Reansbury (James Robinson), and Christa Cox (Stephen), loving Papa of Chace and Ciaran.

He is survived by his sisters Peggy and Theresa, his brothers Mike, Dave, George, and Andy, and predeceased by his sister Pat.

He will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and friends.

John faced his all challenges with dignity and courage, he was kind and supportive to everyone he knew even in his most difficult times.

We would like to thank all the PSW workers, the CCAC and the ALS society who helped take care of him and there kindnesses the past few years.

A celebration of John's life will be held at St. Pius X church Friday, November 21, 2014 at 11am. A visitation will be held 10am to 11am followed by the funeral service.

One of his proudest accomplishments was being drafted by the New York Rangers.
