Dear brother of Bill (Mary), Russ (Rica), Rosemary (John MacLean), Gary (Cheryl), David, Nancy (Barry Simmons),Gregg (Tammy) and brother-in-law of Gilmonde (Larry Schweitzer), Rosemonde (Jim Carter), Alexander Mallais, Vernon Mallais and the late Joann (Michael Lopez).

Loved by wonderful cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and friends.

Joe was a retired employee of Stelco with 35 years of dedicated service.

Special thanks to St. Joseph’s CCU and Hamilton General CCU, ICU and HIU, especially Dr. Lamy and the cardiac team for their exceptional care.

On April 15, 2014, in his 68th year, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family.

Jim is survived by his wife of 46 years, Diane (nee Richardson), their children Michael (Nancy), Michelle Webb (John), Greg Doerr (Shannon), and his six grandchildren Alyssa, Aidan, Joshua, Megan, Mason, Griffin, his sisters Doreen McKay and Donna Monte (Fred) and brother-in-law Norm MacCallum (Kathy) and sister-in-law Elinore Richardson.

Predeceased by his parents Roy and Kay West, his sisters June Newlands and Jackie MacCallum, and his brother-in-law Marvin McKay.

Jim will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews and his great-nieces and great-nephews.

Jim "Jimmy" "Westy", born March 9, 1947, was a proud member of Local Union 105 IBEW for 47 years. Jim loved his job, but what he loved most was the people that he worked with.

Jim loved to spend his summers water skiing and his winters enjoying hockey, and later in life, enjoying the Florida sunshine.

Jimmy was the life of the party, he was especially known to everyone for his love of Karaoke.

A celebration of life will be held at the Police Association, 555 Upper Wellington St. on Saturday, April 19, 2014 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Remembrance ceremony will begin at 3 p.m.

The family would like to thank the special nurses at Juravinski Hospital who took such good care of Jim.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cancer Assistance Program (CAP) would be greatly appreciated by the family, or a donation to a charity of your choice.

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our wife, mother, sister and friend, Amalia Frank.

At the young age of 52, she passed away peacefully in the comforts of her own home, surrounded by her family. Early Monday morning, her courageous battle with breast cancer came to a close.

She will be deeply missed by her husband Rod Frank, children Amy, Samantha, Alexandra and Ben, brother Roberto Bilato, mother-in-law Patricia Frank, brother- in-law Sanford Frank, sisters-in-law Rochelle and Julie Frank and her many nieces and nephews.

Pre-deceased by her parents Guido and Agata Bilato.

Special thanks goes out to the doctors and staff at Juravinski Cancer Centre.

Visitation will be held for friends and family on Friday, April 18th in Hamilton.

He was the beloved husband and best friend of Josene for 65 years.  

Dear father of Cheryl (Peter) Mogensen and Marnie (Chris) Stewart.  

Son of the late Wilbert and Rhoda Manary and brother of Pearl Bennett.  

Ted was the 5th generation to live in Flamborough.  He was a farmer and drover.  His passion was breeding and showing Aberdeen Angus cattle.  

Ted and Jo retired to Burlington in 1980, where he developed a talent in woodcarving.  

Cremation has taken place.  In respecting Ted's wishes regarding visitation, come and share your memories with family in Celebrating Ted's life in Waterdown on Satruday, April 19th, 2014.  

Special thanks to the staff at HNHB, CCAC and Carpenter Hospice for all the TLC given to Ted and his family.

Elio was a retied employee of Stelco for 36 years.

He was a dedicated man to his family, especially his grandchildren whom he loved dearly. Elio had a passion for his garden even up to his last moments, he was anticipating for the weather to get better so he could begin gardening.

Chef, Husband, Father, Son, Brother, "Guncle" and Friend was born in Hamilton on August 10, 1971 and died tragically Sunday, April 13, 2014.

As a Red Seal Chef Frank was an Executive Chef at 27. He shared his skill and passion while working at The Hamilton Club, La Costa Restaurants, 20/20, The Pepperwood Group, and 28 Lister Chophouse Grill, Hamilton, which was a dream coming true.

Frank, known to many as Tankie Boy was the sunlight in the darkest of days. He was a mentor, an inspiration, a leader and an amazing friend.

Frank was most content fishing rod in one hand with a cold beer in the other.

He will be deeply missed by his Father and Mother Frank and Betty, by his babies Nolan, Kirabella, Frankie and Cale. By his sister Sherri (Rob), brother Brian (Tanya) Leah and Jeni. Grandma and Grandpa Parry.

He will never be forgotten for playing hide and go seek in the dark by his nieces and nephew Oceaiana, Chloe and Logan (tbh uncle cheated all the time). Sister-in-law Melissa and dear niece princess Leila.

Mother and Father-in-law Adelaide and Vittoria.

Beloved husband and soulmate of Victtoria Giuliani.

My Chef-I love you Tesoro Maio and I promise baby, we will be together again one day.

She was a proud recipient of the Trillium award for her beautiful garden that she devoted countless hours to perfecting.

Reunited with his beloved wife Thelma of more than 50 years and dear son Barry (2010).

Loving Dad of Jack (Gail), Lisa, and daughter in law Marjie. Cherished Grampa of Shelby (Vic), Courtney (Nathan), Danielle (Jesse), Patti, Sarah (Shawn), Jessica, Emily, Elias, and Great Grampa of 10.

He will be sadly missed by his sister in law Lee Thompson, extended family and friends.

A proud and dedicated machinist at Stelco with more than 30 years of service.

A heartfelt thank you to the wonderful and caring staff at the Clarion Nursing Home.

Family and friends are welcome to visitation at the MARKEY DERMODY FUNERAL HOME 1774 King Street East6 (at Kenilworth) on Wednesday from 6-9pm. Funeral Service in the Chapel of the Funeral Home on Thursday April 17, 2014 at 10am. Interment to follow.

Surrounded by his family at Juravinski Hospital, Hamilton on Sunday, April 13, 2014, The Rev. Dr. John Thornley Docker at the age of 76.

Survived by his loving wife of 45 years Georgie (Dawson). Sadly missed by his sons Sean (Nathalie) and their children Nathan and Isabella of Florida; and Robert (Cathe) of Arkansas.

Also missed by sisters Mary (Brooke) Binder, Patti (Allen) Docker-Ford, and Barbara (Bob) Geiger.

Special thank you to the visiting home care nurses Beth, Jackie and Sandi, and the doctors, nurses and staff at Juravinski Hospital for all of their support and wonderful care.

Arrangements out of Dunnville.  Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place at Christ's Church Cathedral, 252 James Street North, Hamilton on Thursday, April 17th at 1 p.m.

Memorial donations to Christ`s Church Cathedral or to a local food bank would be sincerely appreciated.

At the age of 90, John "Jack" Edward Elms passed away peacefully on Monday, April 14, 2014.

Beloved husband of June for 67 years. Dear father of Elizabeth and Cathi (Paul). Proud grandfather of Michael (Kate), Matthew, Nicole (Max) and great-grandfather of our newly arrived Ethan Jack.

Jack was a proud veteran of World War II and a proud member of 418 Canadian Fighter Squadron with service in London, England area and France, Belgium, Holland and Germany.

At Jack's request, cremation has taken place. There will be a private memorial service for immediate family members at a later date.

Beloved wife of the late Domenico Falcone. Loved mother of Joe (Lois) Falcone, Maria (Vince) DiFederico, Angela (Gary) Hawkins, Laura (Terry) Dyack and Philip (Colleen) Falcone.

Dearly loved grandmother of Steven (Marilena), Sara, Dean (Maricris), Tania (Marco), Jason (Erica), Lisa, Ian, Andrea (A.J.), Aaron, Adam, Jonathan, Marybeth and Emily. Cherished great-grandmother of ten.

Dear sister of Caterina, Anna, Donata and Mike. Lovingly remembered by many sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces and friends.

The family would like to thank the staff at Villa Italia Retirement home for the wonderful care and companionship Vita received. Sincere thank you to all the staff at St. Joseph's Hospital ALC Unit.

Rites of Christian burial will be held at Regina Mundi Catholic Church, 631 Mohawk Rd. W., Hamilton on Thursday, April 17, 2014 at 10 a.m. Entombment to follow.

March 21, 1935 - April 13, 2014

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ronald Melvin Irish, at the age of 79, after a 55 year battle with Syringomyelia.

Ron was born in Niagara Falls and has resided in Stoney Creek, Ontario for the past 45 years.

Much loved husband of Pat (nee Balcome) for 55 years. Loving father of Shelley and Ann Marie. Dearest Grampy of Rebecca (Sam), Steven (Sydney) and Jenna, all of whom he adored.

Predeceased by his parents Stanley and Helen (nee Nesbitt) Irish and twin brother Donald (Blondie) in 1971.

Survived by his sister Donna Steele (Jack) of Niagara Falls. Brother-in-law of Donna Balcome, Jim Balcome (Gail) and Audrey Carr (Sam).

Special thanks to his best friend Basil Bechard who visited Ron every Sunday and kept him up to date on their work buddies from Inglis and Duracoat.

Ron also enjoyed the Social Club at the former Day-N-Nite.

Thanks to Ed Miller (Edith) for your continued support for our family throughout the years. Our thanks to Dale, Mitch, Cathy, Mary, Sandu, Annice, Cinzia, Christian and Gina for their care and compassion.

At Ron`s request cremation has taken place. He will be joining his twin brother in Niagara Falls.

Ron will be managing the Toronto Maple Leafs next year from his place in Heaven.

Predeceased by her husband Luka. Leaving behind is her son Mihajlo (Jelica) and daughter Mira (Dule) Knezic. Predeceased by her daughters Staka (survived by her husband Jovo) and Andja of the Srpska Republica.

Dear baba of Biljana (Mike), Tomislav (Sofija), Sinisa and Cvita. Predeceased by her grandsons George, Milan, and Aco.

Survived by her brother Djuro (Zora). She is predeceased by her brothers Mirko, Mitar, Marinko, Jovo, Serafin and Stojan and sisters Cvita and Jela.

Milica will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, kumovi and many friends.

A funeral service will be held at St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church (Barton St.) on Tuesday at 11 a.m. with the Very Reverend Father Vojislav Pavlovic officiating. Interment.

Imerio was born in Azzano X, Italy on July 2, 1930.

Loving husband of Carlie (nee Tonellotto) of 58 years. Much loved dad of daughters JoAnne (the late Fernando Bonaventura), Dina (Carl Cino), Karen (Dan Farnsworth). Cherished Papa to his grandchildren (Charlie Browns and Tootsies), Brad (Melissa), Michael, Nicholas (Laura), Adam (Alexandria) and Taylor.

Predeceased by his parents Giovanni and Erminia Mattiuz, his sisters, Dina and Vilma, his in-laws Augusto and Olga Tonellotto.

He will be missed by many nieces, nephews, and cousins in Canada and Italy.

We would like to thank Dr. Allen Greenspoon for his many years of dedication and compassion as his family physician and the staff of the ER and Trauma Units at the Hamilton General Hospital for their kind hearted and thoughtful care.

Imerio was an employee of Stelco for 40 years. He was a long-time member of the Venetian Club of Hamilton. He loved his hunting and fishing.

A Funeral Mass will be offered at Regina Mundi Church (Mohawk and Upper Paradise) on Wednesday, April 16th at 11:30am with interment to follow.

In kindness, donations to McMaster Children’s Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
