When tomorrow starts without me, And I'm not there to see; If the sun should rise and find your eyes All filled with tears for me; I wish so much you wouldn't cry The way you did today, While thinking of the many things We didn't get to say. I know how much you love me, As much as I love you, And each time you think of me I know you'll miss me too; But when tomorrow starts without me, please try to understand, That an angel came and called my name And took me by the hand, and said my place was ready In heaven far above, And that I'd have to leave behind All those I dearly love So when tomorrow starts without me, Don't think we're far apart, For every time you think of me, I'm right here in your heart.

FARKAS, Edwin (Ed) -
October 22, 1936 - April 12, 2013
At St. Joseph's Hospital in Hamilton, Ontario, in his 77th year.
He is re-united with his wife Heather Farkas (nee Culm - 2012), and his sister Eileen Elliott (husband Douglas Elliott of Welland, Ontario). Much loved father of Lori Farkas and Elizabeth (Walter) McMaster. Cherished grandfather of Kane McMaster.
Ed was born in Welland, Ontario to parents Reverend Charles Farkas (1965) and Elza (nee Mandel - 1985). A very special thank you to Bill and Carole Buhay for all their help and support over the past year and during this difficult time. To his friends, including those at 20 Place, for your kind words and prayers. To those who assisted in Dad's care at St. Joseph's Hospital, thank you so much. CARR, Graham Howard -
Erin, Ontario Born in Leeds, Yorkshire, Graham came to the Scout Jamboree at Niagara-On-The-Lake, fell in love with Canada and immigrated two years later at the age of 18.
He left industry to teach, later serving as President of then Ontario Secondary School Teachers' Federation District 10 Peel and a member of the OSSTF Provincial Executive before becoming an Education Officer with the Ontario Ministry of Education.
Forced into early retirement by Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, he developed an interest in Mayan history, religion and architecture. In his last few years, too ill to travel, he focused on genealogical research.
Graham never knowingly did an unkind thing. In some way, large or small, he made a positive change to every situation he encountered.
To Stephanie Burke, he was the rock at the centre of her universe, and the joy of her heart. To his children, Debra Carr of Vancouver, Peter Carr (Nicole) of Orangeville, Devan Johnston of Toronto and Derek Johnston (Sherry) of Toronto and to his grandchildren, Dane and Breanna Carr of Orangeville, he was the source of unlimited love and the model of what a man, a father, a grandfather and a husband should be.
Graham spent the last weeks of his life at home, cared for by those he loved, and died with us beside him, in the early hours of April 11, 2013. With only family present, he was interred the following day.
Donations to the Juravinski Cancer Centre, Hamilton, would be appreciated. Former colleagues and our many friends in the community are invited to join us to share happy memories of Graham at 5265 Trafalgar Rd., Erin, Ontario, any time between 1-5 p.m., Sunday, May 5th, when we hope that family members from out of the country will be able to join us.
