Cherished son of Brenda Zuk and Bill Tuck and families. He will be missed by grandparents, aunts,  uncles, cousins, extended family and many many friends.

The family wishes to thank Derek for his courage, friendship and loyalty.

A Celebration of Michael's life will be held on Monday, February 2, 2015 in Hamilton. Cremation to follow.

Son of Anna and William. Son-in-law to Karen and John Eddy. Brother of Al (Mary), Richard (Cathy), Tina Garcinski (Frank), Les, and Kathy Dumbroski (George). Brother-in-law to Sara and Mark McEachern as well as Matt and Christina Eddy.

Devoted grandfather to Autumn, Dallas, Dakota, Caitlyn, Colin and Maddison. He will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and so many great friends.

Wally was passionate about life, especially time spent outdoors with his beloved friends and family.

A memorial visitation will be held at TRUSCOTT, BROWN & DWYER FUNERAL CHAPEL, (1309 King Street East, across from Gage Park at the delta), Hamilton on Friday, January 30th from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

His life will be celebrated with a service in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, January 31st at 11 a.m. Following his wishes, cremation has taken place.

Left us peacefully at Norfolk General Hospital with her family by her side, on January 27th in her 93rd year.

She was predeceased by her loving husband Blake, daughters Janice and Karen, son-in-law Daniel Coxon, brothers Ernie, Vernon (Helen) and Lloyd Yager, and sister-in-law Lois. 

Dear sister of Maurice (Arlene), sister-in-law of Edna, Lois and Laverne (Betty).

Cherished mother of Bryan, Janice, Karen, Marilyn (Gazley) and Barbara.   Loved mother-in-law of Clark, Bob, Marilyn, Susan and Gary.  Cherished grandmother of Matthew, Amy (Tim), Beth (Adam), Jason (Lisa), Hillary (Moe), Andrea (Tim), Michael (Christina) and Angela (Trevor).  Great-grandmother to Ethan, Travis, Wesley, Clara, Samantha, Danielle, Austin, Brayden, Ethan and Mya. 

A passionate caring person of others, Ruth pursued a career as a nurse studying at St. Joseph’s School of Nursing graduating in 1945.  Ruth enjoyed many years of serving thousands of patients at the Haldimand War Memorial Hospital. A pillar in our community, Ruth was passionate about and engaged with its members. She nurtured many life-long friendships including members of Rainham Centre Women’s Institute and the Selkirk Baptist Church.

Funeral service will take place at Selkirk Baptist Church on Saturday January 31, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. (visitation from 11:30 am). 

Memorial donations are appreciated and we are supporting Cystic Fibrosis Canada, Selkirk Baptist Church or the charity of your choice.

Nolan will be sadly missed by his four legged friends, Phoebe, Charlee and Dexter.  He will be fondly remembered by his many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Nolan's love of the outdoors, his passion for "his" truck and his love for farming will be remembered by his countless friends.

Dear brother and brother-in-law of the late Giuseppe Paolini, the late Acenzia and Alfredo Valenti, the late Giulio and Elvira Camaiani, the late Irma Paolini and her late son Settimio Orsini, the late Clelia and Attilio Caponi. Dante and the late Serafina Orsini, the late Vincenza and Luigi Tempera, Domenica and the late Nicola Orsini, the late Luigia Orsini, the Late Ilario and Esterina Orsini.

Francesco will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends in Canada, USA, and Italy.

Helen loved life as “each day was a gift”.

She was a devoted volunteer with many organizations. Helen was a passionate presence as a volunteer at St. Joseph’s Hospital and St. Joseph’s Lifecare.

Cremation has taken place. We invite friends to “drop by for a cup of tea”, Monday, February 2, 2015 between 1-3 p.m. at the Charing Cross Reception Suites in Brantford.

Williams_GtrantGrant’s journey on earth concluded quietly in the wee hours on January 26th with Joanne and his dog Bandit at his bedside.

Beloved husband of Dr. Joanne Barabash. Loving father to Tyler (Jody) and Carly. Proud grandfather to darling Aubrey.

Grant is predeceased by his father Grant Sr. Survived by his mother Jean, siblings Dr. Janet Lalonde, Shawn Halloran (Ricky) and Todd (Lindsay).

Loving uncle to Paul, Michael, Emily, Kate, Chrissy and Rob. Cherished son-in-law to the late Peter and Jennie Barabash and greatly loved by Joanne’s family.

Grant’s life was enthusiastic and he was always happiest being with others. For this reason he loved his career as a gemologist in his grandfather’s business, Howard Williams Jewellers.

Many thanks to all those who held Grant dear in their thoughts and hearts. Special thanks to Pierre, whom Grant called a brother, for faithfully visiting every Sunday.

Words cannot express our love and gratitude for Vasy and her family who spent countless hours in friendship with Grant. Much gratitude to Josie who helped relax Grant and keep him comfortable. The family would like to thank those amazing individuals at St. Peter’s Residence who went above and beyond.

We also cherish the friendships we have made with the residents and families at St. Peter’s. Many thanks to Dr. Saperson, Dr. Gagnon and Dr. Yeggapan for their expertise and compassion.

Visitation and service will be held on Saturday January 30th in Hamilton. Cremation has taken place.

Grant loved flowers so they will be gratefully accepted.

Donations may also be made to a charity of your choice or CurePSP.org (progressive supranuclear palsy) in hopes of finding a cure for Grant’s disease.

Predeceased by sisters and their late husbands, Dorothy Powell (Gordon), Isabel Armstrong (Walt), and Muriel Murdock (Jack).

Loved by her many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, and blessed with steadfast friends.

An avid reader of books and interested in handicrafts, baking, card and board games, and travel. Known for her phenomenal memory of family and local history.

Passed away at St. Peter's Residence at Chedoke on January 25, 2015, in her 96th year.

Beloved wife of the late Bill Drywood. Loving mother of Marion Douglas, George Drywood (Jody), and the late John Drywood. Mother-in-law of Marjorie Drywood.

Cherished grandma of Warren (Jennifer), Julie, Jamie, Brad, Christine and great-grandma of Allaya and Hanson.

Frances was a long-time dedicated member of the Christadelphian Ecclesia.

Special thanks to the doctors and nurses of St. Peter's at Chedoke, where Frances resided for the last few years.

Cremation has taken place with a private family interment.

In lieu of flowers, donations made to the SPCA would be appreciated.

It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Patrick Eldridge on January 25, 2015.

Devoted Husband to Cathy Eldridge and loving Father to Jamie-Lynn and Lauren (Mike).

He will be greatly missed by his Mother; Reta Hickox, Father; Robert Eldridge (Jan), Sister; Erin Woodhall (Chris), and Brothers; Dale and Graham (Lynn). He was also the caring Grandfather of two beautiful girls who will miss him dearly.

Patrick was a gentle man with a kind soul. He had a passion for nature and was happiest camping and sharing good times with family and friends.

Cremation is to take place and a Celebration of Life Service will be determined at a later date.

Leone_AntoniettaIt is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Antonietta, with her loving family by her side, on Sunday, January 25, 2015 at the Brantford General Hospital, in her 86th year.

Reunited with her beloved husband Giuseppe “Joe” (2008), her cherished son Donato “Donnie” (2013) and her parents Onofrio and Annina Berarducci.

Much loved and devoted mother of Robert and Tony (Michelle). Caring mother-in-law of Bev. Adored Nonna of Donald (Sari), Greg, Amanda (Nathan) Fries, Scott (Cassandra), Larissa (Vinnie), Chantel (Jake), Kolton and Bryce. Proud Bis-Nonna of Maja, Donato, Sophia, Melia, Emma, Clare, Olivia, Grace and Adrianna. Sister-in-law of Lina (Don) Geldart, Gilda (the late Mario) Leone and many nieces and nephews.

Also survived by many extended family members both in the US and Italy. Antonietta came to Canada from Rocca Pia, L'Aquila, Italy.

Together with her husband Joe, opened their store and life’s work “Leone Grocery” in 1959. Together they spent the next 45 years enjoying operating the business and making many new friendships along the way.

Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at St. Basil’s Roman Catholic Church, 50 Palace Street, Brantford on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at 10 a.m. Entombment to follow.

If desired, donations to the BGH Foundation appreciated.

Thank you to all the nurses and doctors that cared for our Mother, especially to those in the Critical Care Unit.

On Saturday January 24th, in her 91st year Betty passed away in Hamilton, Ontario.

She will be sadly missed by long-time friends Lloyd and Louisa Howarth.

Godmother to Brian and Janice. Lovingly remembered by her adopted daughters Debbie, Josie and Cheryl.

Will also be missed by great nieces Mary, Gladys and Laura and great nephew Gordon of California.

Predeceased by her husband John (1996), sister Gladys of Hamilton and nephew John also of California.

Betty was a seven year residence of Grace Villa Nursing Home. Extended thank you to the staff of Grace Villa for their exceptional care.

Cremation has taken place. Memorial Service at Cresmount Funeral Home Upper James Chapel 1020 Upper James Street Hamilton, Ontario on Saturday January 31st, 2015 at 1:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers Betty had asked for donations to be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation.

It is with great sadness and sorrow that we announce the passing of Ermelinda at Grace Villa Nursing Home on January 25, 2015, in her 89th year.

Beloved wife of the late Alfredo (2013). She was the loved sister of Jose Medeiros (Maria), Joao Soares (Hilda), predeceased by her sisters Senhorinha Lima (Manuel), Deodata Fidalgo (Manuel) and brother-in-law Jose Moniz (Maria Theresa).

Ermelinda was loved and will be greatly missed by her many nephews and nieces in Canada and Portugal.

Joe Fidalgo and the family would like to extend a very special thank you to the staff of Grace Villa Nursing Home for their great compassion and wonderful care over the years.

Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Mary's Church on Wednesday, January, 28, 2015 at 10 a.m. Entombment to follow.
