Peacefully after a short illness Stan in his 89th year has gone to join his beloved wife Verla (Klassen).

Father of Kerry, Tom (Karen), and Donna (Craig). Gedo to Nicholas Salari.

Survived by brothers Sam (Melavia) and Nick (Marie). Predeceased by sisters Dorothy (George) and Violet (Nick).

Brother-in-law of Ron and Wendy Klassen. Predeceased by Dale and Ruth Klassen.

Cremation will take place. A private family service will be held.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Cancer Society would be appreciated.

Heartfelt thanks to the staff at St. Joseph's Hospital.

Clark_JackAt St. Joseph’s Lifecare Centre, Brantford on Wednesday, August 13, 2014 in his 93rd year, Jack Clark.

Beloved husband of Dorothy Clark (nee Ford). Loving father of the late David Clark.  Loving father-in-law of Marilyn White.

Dear brother of the late Murray Clark (the late Erma Clark), the late Kathleen Clark.  Dear brother-in-law of Lorinne Ford and Leona Ford.  Much loved grandfather of Elizabeth Clark. Lovingly remembered by several nieces and nephews. 

Jack led a wonderful life.  He travelled four times to New Zealand to teach chicken sexing and later was sent to Sri Lanka by the Canadian Government.

He was President of the Brantford Golf and Country Club in 1974 and later the Warden of Brant County in 1983.  He loved fishing and duck hunting.  The cottage he built on Moon River Bay was affectionately known as Jack’s Home Hardware.  He will be missed by the many friends he made along the way.

Memorial Service at Central Presbyterian Church, 97 Wellington Street, Brantford on Monday at 11:00 a.m.  Cremation has taken place.

If wished, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society or Central Presbyterian Church gratefully appreciated.

September 20, 1933 - August 13, 2014

Our sweet, loving, generous sister-in-law, cousin, aunt and great-aunt has passed away at St. Peter’s Hospital after a courageous third battle with cancer.

Beloved daughter of the late Maxwell and Sarah Foreman. Sister of the late Edwin Foreman (Helen), the late Bill Foreman (Marjorie) and the late Mary Woods (Dudley).

Cousin of Cliff Foreman (Shirley). Aunt and great-aunt of many nieces and nephews in B.C., Ontario and Quebec.

An avid reader, Gwen cherished her Welsh heritage and was an animal lover.

She will be greatly missed by many dear friends, Board of Education colleagues and pen pals overseas.

Cremation has taken place. Funeral Service will be held in Stoney Creek on Sunday, August 17, 2014.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.

Freeman_TheresaQuietly passed away in the presence of her family, at the General Hospital, on Wednesday, August 13, 2014.

Reunited with her husband Leroy, loving mother of Irene, Judy, Robert and grandchildren Mikayla, Andrea, Brent, Camden and Damian.

Sister of Greta Innis, Helen Mahoney-Stewart, both of New Brunswick, Carmel Estey of Hamilton and Loretta Headquist of British Columbia.

Predeceased by her sisters Marie Smith, Bernadette Webb, Doreen Goguen, Mona Robins, and brothers James, Harold, Francis, Barry, Morrisey Estey and 5 infants, all of New Brunswick.

With deep gratitude, the family wishes to thank all of the staff at the General Hospital, 8th Floor South.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s Parish, Hamilton, on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at 10 a.m. Cremation to follow.

As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations to the Good Shepherd would be appreciated by the family.

HAMILTON, Arthur Edgar -

Passed away peacefully, on Wednesday, August 13, 2014 in his 97th year.

Born October 24, 1917 at the family home in the west end of Toronto.

He was a graduate of the Ontario Agricultural College.

In 1943 Arthur joined Lever Brothers as a junior chemist. By the time of his retirement 40 years later he was head of Quality Control.

Always curious, Arthur had a keen interest in photography, curling, travel, his Scottish heritage and the universe in general. Arthur is predeceased by his loving wife Dorothy, his parents Wellington and Kathleen and his younger brother Don. Arthur will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He leaves behind his sons Doug, Glen, Ken and their children and grandchildren. Arthur lived independently until he was afflicted with stroke induced aphasia at age 92.

Always the gentleman, he kept his sense of humour and dignity until the very end.

Special thanks to the caring staff at Cedarbrook Lodge and the terrific folks at Home Instead Senior Care. 

Funeral Service will be held in Toronto on Monday, August 18th, followed by interment.

On Wednesday, August 13, 2014, passed away quietly at home with family, at the age of 91, after a long and happy life.

Predeceased by loving wife Ellen, son James, and daughter Ellen.

Father of Betty (Chuck), John (Debbie), Marion (Gary), Duncan (Janice), Archie (Shirley) and son-in-law David, twelve grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held in Hamilton, on Tuesday, August 19, 2014.

Peacefully, after a courageous battle with cancer, Dougie passed away at home surrounded by his loved ones.

Loving husband to Kim, father to son Jamie and daughter Kaely, and a plethora of pets.

Son of Lloyd and the late Polly Hurren and sisters Cathy (Paul) and Carol (David). Son-in-law of Don and Evelyn MacKenzie and brother-in-law of Ted MacKenzie (Sandra). Many nieces and nephews.

Dougie was an avid motorcyclist and a retired millwright of Stelco, where he made many friends with his quick wit and rugged good looks.

Please join us for a celebration of his life this Sunday, August 24 at his family home in Caledonia.

Precious baby Douglas Paul Milo Jr. was taken from us suddenly and unexpectedly to return to heaven and his creator on August 13th, 2014. But before he crossed over, baby Dougie gave his heart to save another Angel.

Cherished and loved, he will be sadly missed by his Mommy and Daddy, Chantelle and Doug Milo Sr., his siblings, Seth Milo, Coldy, Cole and Carleigh Hilmayer, his grandparents, Lisa (Damude) and Rob Schram, Robert Milo and the late Sharlene Milo, great grandparents Ray and Dorothy Damude as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.

A memorial service will be held in Ridgeway on Monday August 25th. Interment will follow at Fonthill.

Many thanks for the love and support from all the doctors, nurses and councilors at both McMaster Hospital and the Ronald McDonald House and Williams Funeral Home.

Donations will be greatly appreciated for the Ronald McDonald House in Hamilton.

Jo will be sadly missed by nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

Visitation at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth), Hamilton on Sunday from 2 - 4 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m., with Vigil Prayers at 7 p.m. and eulogies to follow.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Luke's Roman Catholic Church, 200 Mount Albion Road on Monday, August 18th at 10:30 a.m.  Interment.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Isabel. However, she has joined the love of her life, Ronald Webb (December 30, 2004).

She will be greatly missed by her daughter, Doreen Bouwhuis (Bill), son Wayne Webb (Sally), grandchildren Samara Galloway (Cam), Sean Webb (Vanessa), and Kim Webb (Mike). She also leaves behind three beautiful great-granddaughters Mya, Sydney, and Avery.

She will also be missed by her brother Hugh McCullough, his wife Doris and their family.

Isabel was an employee of Sears for over 30 years.

A special thank you to the staff at Idlewyld Manor for all their care and compassion during Isabel’s stay.

A Service will take place on Monday in Stoney Creek. Interment to take place.
