Forever loved by his children Yvonne King and her husband Chris and Shana Brooks.

Survived by his sisters Katherine Thibault, Angela Menzies and her husband Wilbert.

Missed by his companion Diana MacDougall and her children Stephanie, Michael and his wife Shannon.

Proud and loving grandpa of Owen, Carina, Makena, and Ben. Ever loved by his many nieces and nephews.

Also fondly remembered by Paul Pearson and Garry Pearson and his wife Debby.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date.

Passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 26, 2014 in his 61st year at Kingston General Hospital after a long battle against leukemia.

He will be deeply missed by his loving wife Carol (nee Hartnett). Loving father of Kelly, Henry and Carolina.

Survived by his brothers Patrick and Malcolm. Predeceased by his parents Micah and Sarah (nee Forbes) and siblings Evelyn, Joyce and Marie. He will be fondly remembered by his many friends from Brampton, Kingston, Sand Lake and by his Merv golf buddies. We know Michael is now making them laugh in heaven with his voices of Ali, Nicholson, Jimmy Stewart, etc.

Son of the late Andrew & Thelma Bennett. Loving husband of Lola M. Bennett (nee Bentley). Beloved father of Vicki Hicks (Barry) of British Columbia, Tina Bennett of Belleville, Vernon (Alma) of Belleville and Don (Debbie) of Frankford. Predeceased by his son Marcel Bennett.

Survived by his brother Rodney (Nancy) of Cornwall. Also predeceased by his brothers Eugene & Donnie.

Ever remembered by his grandchildren Graham, Paula, Robbie, Jeremy, Jesse, Aimee, Lynn and his 14 great grandchildren.

Reg will also be sadly missed by his many friends, family and especially loved by Margo & Sonny and Tom & Gloria.

Funeral Mass will be celebrate at St. Michael the Archangel Church on Wednesday, July 30th. Cremation to follow.

Loved by his grandchildren Kathleen, Allan, Michael, Jeffrey, Paige, Christopher, Matthew, Jonathan, Kyle, and by his many great grandchildren.

Survived by his very special niece Betty Forrester (Jim) of Pefferlaw.

It is with great sadness that Lisa Allen of Trenton, a dear friend and Tyler Theoret grandson of New Orleans, announce the passing of Valma (Maki) Theoret on Friday, July 25th, 2014 at Crown Ridge Place, at the age of 89.

Predeceased by her loving son Paul G. Theoret on September 26th, 1995 at the age of 40. Valma leaves grandson Tyler, nieces Viola Kelly of Waterloo, and Joan Kotanen of Calgary, nephew John Pajunen, and family of Thunder Bay.

Valma was predeceased by husband Roland, brothers Wilbert and Tauno, sister Sylvia, mother Edla Maki, and father Anton Maki.

Valma was born in Nipigon Ontario in 1925. At 18, she joined the Air Force and served during the war years, then a year in Winnipeg as a Dental Assistant. She then worked at McKellar Hospital in Thunder Bay until her marriage and lived in Montreal. Her later years were spent in Kingston.

There will be no visitation or services.

Cherished husband of Phyllis for 66 years. Loving father of John (Jo-Ann) of Exeter, Gayle Detenbeck (Barry) of Bayfield, Marilyn Geen (Douglas) of Belleville, Barbara Dietrich (Ben) of Exeter, and Paul (Nicole) of London.

Proud grandfather of thirteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Jim Hayman (Joan) of Victoria, B.C. Predeceased by his sisters Mary Archer (Bill) and Ruth Hayman.

John was devoted to his family and believed in the importance of education, as well as highschool and community sports. He was a former teacher and member of the Board of Governors at Albert College, Belleville; teacher and Principal at Quinte S.S.; Past President of C.O.S.S.A., O.F.S.S.A. and the Canadian Highschool Sports Association.

John was a founder of Adult Education Programs that resulted in Community Colleges being built. He was a Past President of the Retired Teachers Association in Goderich, as well as a member of the Rotary Club in Goderich and London. John received a Queen's Diamond Jubilee Medal in 2012 for his contribution to sports in Ontario and was inducted into the Belleville Sports Hall of Fame.

John was honoured to have the Resource Centre at Quinte S.S. named after him. Even with all of these accomplishments, John's greatest joy in life has been his family.

A private memorial service will be held along with a private interment.

Those wishing to make a donation in memory of John are asked to consider a charity of their choice.

Proud Grampa to Dallas & Chris Hartwick of Tweed, Kati Parks (Paul Gourdier) of Marble Lake, Naomi Parks (Justin Duquette) of Tweed, Drew Parks (Shelby Buldyke) of Ottawa, and Mitchell Perry, Doug Perry, Jake Perry, and Meghan Perry, all of Interlaken, NY. Very proud great-grampa to Trinity, Wyatt, Elida, Jace & Hayden.

Loving partner and fellow-musician for 30 years to Margaret (Brant) Anderson of Belleville. Papa Laurie to her children Cathy Dings (Karl) and Tim Anderson (Susan) of Kingston, and to her grandchildren Matthew Dings, Alicia Dings and  Emily Anderson.

Laurie owned and operated Twin Cedars Campground on Marble Lake for decades. As a well-respected and admired fellow-musician to hundreds throughout Ontario and NY State, he hosted the Old Tyme Fiddlers’ Picnic for 20+ years and the Twin Cedars Bluegrass Jamboree for several years. He was sometimes referred to as "The Mayor of Marble Lake”.

Laurie was employed by the Belleville Public Utilities Commission from which he retired in 1992. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and a member of Christ Church, Tyendinaga. He was as avid about hunting and fishing as he was about his music - an all-round active, loving, giving person all his life. He was a gifted man in many areas of life and was held in high esteem by a multitude of cousins, nieces, and nephews. He will be sorely missed by everyone who knew him.

The memorial service will take place in Tweed on Sunday, July 27th.

Beloved wife of the late Willem Wyngaarden, dearly loved mother of Jane and Sid Vander Wilp, Willemina and Ben Van Huizen, Nico and Elizabeth Wyngaarden, Dan and Adriana Wyngaarden, Bill and Henny Wyngaarden, Esther Wyngaarden, Peter and Arlene Wyngaarden, and Martin Wyngaarden.

Maria was a loving Oma of twenty grandchildren and Oma-Oma of twenty-four great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. She was loved by extended family in Canada and in the Netherlands.

Maria was born on March 19, 1925 to Daniel and Willemina Van Der Kouwe. She grew up in Kampen, the Netherlands. She met her husband Willem during the second world war and they were married on April 15, 1948.

Together with six children the family immigrated to Victoria, BC in May of 1959. After six years and another child in Victoria, the family packed up again and moved to Trenton where the youngest child, Martin, was born.

Maria had a heart for missions and a concern for social justice. She loved listening to and playing music. She also loved nature and, when she could, would tour the countryside to view the beauty of God’s creation. She will be remembered by many as an extremely gracious hostess to all who entered her home.

Visitation will be held Thursday July 24 from 2 – 4 pm and 7-9 pm at Ebenezer Christian Reformed Church, 20 Fourth Ave. Trenton, Ontario. Maria’s life will be celebrated at a service at Ebenezer on Friday July 25 at 2 pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Trenton Christian School would be appreciated.

Dear sweet sister to Greg Howe & his wife Ann Marie of St. Catherine's and Debby Federico & her husband Mike of Mississauga.

Loved mother to Donald Mercier of Campbellford and Valerie Mercier of North Bay. Grandmother to Tiba and Jacob. Pat will be missed by her family and friends for her care and compassion to all.

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Pat's life will take place at a later date.

Loving grandmother of 24 grandchildren and their families. Beezie is survived by her brother, Bob Ruttan of Hermon and was predeceased by: Gladys, Frances, Basil, Arthur, Henry, Gordon, Lila and Emily.

A service will be held at the L'Amable Bible Chapel in Bancroft on Wednesay, July 23rd. Interment i L'Amable. A reception will follow.
