Survived by brothers Roland Horn (Jenny) and Forest Horn. Will be sadly missed by family, nieces, nephews, friends and Business aquaintances.

A memorial service will take place in Belleville on Saturday, December 20th.

Passed away on Wednesday, December 17th, 2014 at the Kingston General Hospital in the loving presence of his high school sweetheart, and wife of nearly 55 years, Fran (Frances, nee Tucker) and his three adoring children Gregory, Jennifer and Leslie.

A lifelong resident of the Bay of Quinte Area, Allan was born on June 14th, 1940 , raised in Ameliasburg , and was the son of the late Jean and Clarence Vanclief. Throughout his life, Allan was known for his attention to detail, his love of heritage, and his larger than life presence. An established local businessman and community leader, in his early career Allan was the owner and proprietor of the Grant Funeral Home.

He later carved out his second business as a highly regarded master carpenter and craftsman.

Allan is survived by his wife and children and their spouses; Fran, Greg and Amy, Jennifer and Marcelo, Leslie and Jim, his brother, the Honourable Lyle Vanclief and wife Sharon, three adoring grandchildren; Jasmine LaPalme, Benjamin Watson, Arwen Vanclief, and multiple generations of Vanclief and Tucker cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A funeral service will be held in Belleville on Monday, December 22nd. In keeping with Allan’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private inurnment will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cardiac Care Unit of the Kingston General Hospital, the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario, or to the charity of choice, would be appreciated.

Walter Stevens of Tweed and formerly Thomasburg in his 83rd year. Husband of the late Pearl (Bannister). Father of David and George.  Brother of  Irwin Martin Stevens (Ann), Smiths Falls and Percy Evan Stevens, Alexandria.

Survived by many nieces and nephews.

Walter Stevens was a private man who, in recent years, kept very much to himself. Despite this, and throughout his life, he retained a fondness for nature and the outdoors and he enjoyed what the Irish fondly call "the gift of the gab”...

Originally raised in eastern Ontario in Glengarry County, Walter relocated in later life to the small Ontario town of Tweed, where he took up residence, maintaining the rural lifestyle which he clearly enjoyed so much. A former Security Guard, Walter’s favourite form of recreation involved camping and fishing, often in Algonquin Park, and to the end of his days, he thoroughly enjoyed working, and just being, outdoors.

The service will be held in Tweed on Saturday, December 20th. Interment in Thomasburg.

He is predeceased by his parents Alexander & Nellie Thompson. Leslie is the loving husband of Elma Thompson (Parr). Beloved father of Wayne & Carol, Lesley Anne & Stephen, Scott & Barny and Stephen & Bonnie.

Sadly missed by his grandchildren Jeff & Karla, Jason, Wade, Andrew, Cynthia, Philip, Christopher and his great grandchildren Devin, Mikayla, Kayden and Jaxson.

He is survived by his sisters Eileen McKinney, Gertrude Atkinson and Marguerite Strangways.

Les spent his some of his professional career as General Manager of Copeland Chatterson, he co-founded Peel Printing and was the Founder/President of Thompson Business Forms.

After he retired, he fulfilled his dream of farming and established Lawless Farms. He served his community as a Charter Member of Kiwanis Club and was a Past President of both the VON and Brampton Curling Club.

The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the medical teams in the ICU (Belleville) and at the Trenton Memorial Hospital for their support and care of Les.

Friends are welcomed in Trenton on Friday, December 19th.

In keeping with Bob's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Bob's Life will be announced in Spring 2015.

December 12th, 1964 – December 13th, 2014

Passed away suddenly, at his home, as a result of a heart attack. Forever loved son of Maxine and the late Thomas Lewis.

Loved brother of Christopher (Angela) of Peterborough. Special uncle to Tyler (Caroline), Trevor (Ally Pyle), and great uncle to Dominic, all of Peterborough. Loved by his aunts, uncle and many cousins. Dear friend to many.

Kevin was a hairstylist in Peterborough and Belleville for several years. He was an avid lover of horses and enjoyed his time in the equestrian circle. He will be very missed by his special dog and friend “Andy”.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Kevin’s life in Belleville on Friday, December 19th. Reverend Jennifer Cameron officiating. Following the service, there will be a family inurment.

Martin_GarryAfter a short battle with cancer, Garry Robert Martin (Bry-Mar Locksmiths) went home to his Lord on Saturday December 13th, 2014, suddenly but peacefully at Hospice Prince Edward at the age of 58.

Devoted husband of Virginia for 33 years and cherished father of Ashley (Ben). Greatly missed by his aunt Myrna Martin and her family Malcolm (Rachel) and Tabby.

Predeceased by his parents Wendell and Margaret, brother James, sister Sara and Uncle Tony Martin.

Survived by his brothers Dave of Alliston, ON, Wendell (Aileen) of Scotland and Billy (Trish) of New Britain, CT. Brother-in-law of Karen (Siebert) Graat and Joanne (Alan) Hanna. Uncle of Matthew Martin, Amber, Danielle and Emily Martin, Sharon, Bryan and Jackie Graat, Amy (Ben) Dulmage, Paul and Emily Hanna. Great uncle to Ellie.

The funeral service will be held at the Salvation Army Community Church, Picton on Thursday, December 18th at 10 a.m. Spring interment in Cherry Valley.

Of Leith, Scotland, passed on December 12, 2014, in Picton, Ontario, in her 70th year.

Loving daughter of John 'Bertie' Johnson and Elizabeth (Love) Johnson.

Sandra worked in administration with the Ministry of Community and Social Services and the Ministry of Natural Resources and later assisted her husband in restoration of Centre Island Carousel.

She will be missed by her husband of 52 years, Alexander Cochrane, son Rusty (Arlene), daughters Robynne (Charlie) and Dennise, grandchildren Nic (Tina), Ashlie (Jamal), Kiersten (Dylan), Ben (Ariane), Stephanie, Bailey (Joseph) and Mac and great-grandchildren Keon, Malaika, Katilyn, Taya and Liam.

Service will take place at Consecon United Church, December 18th at 11 a.m.

Donations to Prince Edward Hospice.
