Passed away at her residence on Sunday, September 14th, 2014 at the age of 82.

Daughter of the late William and Loretta Dennis (nee Calbury). Loving mother to Donald Brown (Judy), Dennis “Wayne” Brown (Sherree), Karen Morton, and John Morton (Brenda).

Survived by sister Betty Carson (late William), sister-in-law Beverley Dennis and pre-deceased by brother John Dennis.

Missed by grandchildren: Chandra, Lisa, David, Becky, Melissa and Ashley and many great-grandchildren. Barbara will be missed by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held in Belleville on Thursday, September 18th, 2014 at 2:00p.m. (with visitation 1 hour prior to the service).  Interment to follow.

Daughter of the late Claude and Essie Tucker (nee Frost). Beloved wife to the late Harry Rickerd McMartin (2010). Loving mother to Shirley Sills (Bob), Joan Johnston (Allen), John Chisholm (Wanda), David Chisholm (Connie), Robert McMartin (Donna), and Harry McMartin (late Carol).

Survived by brother Roy Tucker (Fern) and pre-deceased by her sister Marion and by brother Donald. Reta will be sadly missed by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held from the Eastminster United Church, 432 Bridge St. E., Belleville on Saturday, September 20th, 2014 at 11:00 am. Interment to follow in Stirling.

Survived by Father, Ivan Yuille; mother, Sheila Grant (Finn), husband Wayne Grant, siblings Pat (Tracy), Shawn (Linda), Michael (Shelley) Jeff (Stephanie) and Laurie Vogt (Paul). Nieces, Sarah (deceased), Lindsay, Jennifer, Heather, Kate, Breanna and Michaela. Nephews, Ryan, Michael, Grant and Zach. Great Aunt to Hannah, Charlotte, Maya and Hailee. 

Kim’s family and friends loved her for all that she was… determined, generous, compassionate, caring, big-hearted, kind, and stubborn.

The first daughter to Ivan Yuille and Sheila Yuille (Finn), Kim grew up in Gananoque, Ontario where she attended St. John’s & St. Joseph’s separate schools and Gananoque Secondary School. Kim pursued an education in nursing first at St. Lawrence College (RNA Certificate, RN Diploma) and eventually attended McMaster University to complete a BScN degree.

Kim started her career in nursing as an RNA at St. Mary's of the Lake Hospital in Kingston, Ontario. She joined the Sickkids’ Haematology/Oncology department in 1985 and for 27 years assisted countless children and their families fight cancer.

In 2012, when Kim took ill, she was a long-term member of the Bone Marrow Transplant team at Sickkids. Kim had an endless well of love for her family, friends, her career, the many children she served and her colleagues at Sickkids. 

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, September 18th at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church at 10 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to: Labatt Brain Tumour Research Centre, Hill House Hospice or The Gerry & Nancy Pencer Brain Tumour Centre.

Loving mother to Gayle Curnock-McClelland (Michael), and Carol Ann and Andrew Curnock. Proud grandmother to Evan Allyn Stuart McClelland.

Kathleen devoted her time to various organizations including the Army Navy Club #201, Royal Canadian Legion Br. #99 and St. John Ambulance.

In keeping with Kathleen’s wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be no service at this time. Kathleen’s cremated remains will be buried beside her husband in Belleville Cemetery. Arrangements out of Belleville.

Devoted yiayia to: Christina (Jim), Michael, Chris (Jamie), Jenny, Shayha, Elias, Nicholas, Alexander, Maranda, Izabella and Christian. Sadly missed by her great-grandchildren: Aris, Jason, Sofia and Noah.

Hegarty_EamonWith heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Eamon Hegarty on September 12th, one month shy of his 83rd birthday.

From his humble beginnings in Montreal, Eamon was one of nine children growing up in Point St. Charles. With the passing of his mother at an early age Eamon and his siblings were raised by his older sisters, which is something that he remained grateful for throughout his life.

He later graduated from McGill University before working as a Certified General Accountant at Nortel for 41 years. He is survived by His loving wife of 54 years Barbara, his 2 children Colleen (Ted Mooney), Patrick (Lisa) and predeceased by his son Kevin.

Devoted, loving and proud Papa to four grandsons Brendan, Eamon, Colin and Seamus. Eamon is survived by his sisters Sheila Lamont and Maureen Bonin, predeceased by his parents Anne & John Hegarty and his siblings: Kevin, May, Anne “Sis”, Paddy, Eileen, and Margaret. Eamon will be deeply missed by many as he was a caring, ethical practical man who loved to lend a hand.

He volunteered with Pensioners Concerned doing income tax for seniors. He always went above and beyond and his legacy will live on through the countless people whose lives he touched. He will be deeply missed. 

Funeral Mass will be held at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, Church St, Belleville on Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. Interment to follow.

Carl was an avid bowler at the Belleville Pro Bowl for many years.

Took her last breath, surrounded by her family on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at her residence in Victoria B.C.

Born in Montreal on December 1, 1927. She and her husband, Ralph, were married in Ickenham, England in 1954 and have just celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. They lived in Ontario, Montreal, Boston, Milan, Vancouver, and Victoria.

She is survived by her loving spouse: Ralph; her children: Linda of Ontario; Rick (Mary) of New Brunswick; Alison (Chris) of Alberta; Rod (Laura) of Langford; nine grand children: Mathew, Liesel (Joel), Luke, Kenzie, Jess, Isaac, Jessika, Dallas and Morgan; and two great grandchildren: Anders and Rowan; a brother-in-law, John, and nieces and nephews in the UK.

Arrangements out of Victoria, B.C. Her ashes will be interred at a later date in the Frier family plot at Cataraqui Cemetery in Kingston.

Walsh_BarbaraPeacefully, in her 80th year, at QHC-Belleville General Hospital, with loving husband of 58 years Thomas (Tom) Walsh at her side on Tuesday, September 9th, 2014. 

Daughter of the late Fred and Jane Matthews (nee Cross) and sister of the late Gladys Glembiski.

Barbara leaves behind sons, Kevin (Susan), Sean (Kim) and David (Anne). 

Sadly missed by grandchildren, April Schoonover, Mackenzie & Madison Walsh and great grandchildren, Kolby, Sydney & Timothy Schoonover. She is fondly remembered by nephews, Mike & Tom Glembiski. 

Arrangements out of Belleville. The Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, September 13th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, 399 Victoria Ave., with Father Tim Shea celebrating. Reception in the parish centre. Cremation to follow with private family interment in Read, Ontario at a later date.

A very special thank you for the compassion shared by Emergency Room Dr. Sloan, and the 4th Floor Sills Wing nurses.

Peacefully with his family by his side at his residence on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 in his 64th year.

Beloved husband of Ann Bourque (nee Robinson).

Much loved son of the late Margaret and Edward Bourque. Beloved son-in-law of Marion and Irvin Robinson of New Brunswick. Loving father of Jennifer Lee (Gary), Robert (Hannah Biesterfeld) and Kathleen Court (Kevin). Dear brother of Pat Bourque (Larry Murphy).

Sadly missed by sisters-in-law Beatrice (Alfy), Mary (Bruce), Cindy (Carlton), Gail (Mark) and brother-in-law David (Libby).

Adored by his grandchildren Cooper and Piper Lee. Loved uncle of 15 nieces and nephews and 16 great- nieces and nephews.

Bob will be missed by his family and friends in New Brunswick, Scotland and England.

Service will be held in Belleville, on Friday, September 12th.

Mass will be celebrated at Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Church on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at 11:00 a.m.

Memorial donations to the Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Church Building Fund or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.

November 12, 1928 - September 7, 2014

Born in Ottawa and passed away in Kingston in his 86th year.

A graduate of Lisgar Collegiate Institute (Ottawa) and the University of Western Ontario (London), he worked for many years as a senior management consultant in Toronto.

Predeceased by his parents Carl and Lyla McMonagle and second wife Gerri McMonagle (nee McNeillie). He will be greatly missed by his children Rob, Ann (Barry), Katherine (Trevor) and Megan (Alex) and his grandchildren Galen and Lillia. Fondly remembered by daughter-in-law Gail Hunter and first wife Christine McMillan.

We will never forget his love of family, football, boating and his lessons in sportsmanship.

A family remembrance and interment will occur at the Cataraqui Cemetery in Kingston.

Our heartfelt thanks to the staff at Fairmount Home in Glenburnie for their respectful care of Dad.

Memorial donations may be made to Fairmount Home or the Adopt a Mustang Football Program at Western University.
