Loving aunt of Angie, Bryce, Eric, Zach, Trevor, Chloe and Jhett. Sadly missed by her furry friends Cyrus and Spencer.

At Patricia's request cremation has taken place. A celebration of life gathering will be held at the BURKE FUNERAL HOME, 150 Church St., Belleville, Ontario on Friday, September 4th from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Beloved wife of over 50 years to James "Jim" Barry of Trenton. Loving Mom to Kim Watson & her husband Rob of Trenton and Christina Barry of Tweed.

Dear grandma to Emma, Taylor, Hunter and special "Gum" to Drake. Survived by her sisters; Wanda Webb & George and Pauline Bell & Ralph and predeceased by Noreen Robbins & Lorne and Wayne Tyler & surviving wife Bert. Also predeceased by her parents Paul & Eileen Tyler. Fondly remembered by all of her extended family.

Lois had many loves and hobbies and was a longtime employee of CIBC, but she will most importantly be remembered for the love of her family.

The family will receive friends at the Weaver Family Funeral Home West, 170 Dundas Street, Trenton, Ontario on Thursday, September 3rd from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral Ceremony at the funeral home on Friday, September 4th at 11 am. Interment to follow.

Cherished mother of Rose (Jamie). Beloved sister of George (Nancy), Rowena (Doug) and Ed (Hazel).

Helen will be greatly missed by special niece Bonnie and nephew Jimmy, and many other nieces, nephews, and many great friends.

The family will receive friends at the McConnell Funeral Home, 112 Durham Street South, Madoc, Ontario from 11 a.m. on Friday, September 4th, with funeral service at 1:00 p.m.  Interment, Belleville.

Died unexpectedly but peacefully in his sleep at home in Bloomfield, ON August 30, 2015. He was 70.

Beloved husband and partner in all things of Susan Holtz. Loving father of Nairne Holtz (Wendy) and Megan Holtz (Felix), and loving grandfather to Minnow and Plum Holtz-Carriere.

A retired high school English teacher at Queen Elizabeth High School, Halifax, NS, Fred will be remembered for his teaching skills, commitment to social justice, and community engagement.

He was a lifetime supporter of organic food and farming, volunteering one day each week at Vicki’s Veggies. In recent years, some groups he was active in include Seedy Saturday, County Sustainability Group, Friends of Wellington Museum, and Wooler Friends Meeting (Quakers).

A gathering of family and friends will be held at the Baxter Arts Centre, 3 Stanley St., Bloomfield, Ontario on Friday, September 4th from 2:30 – 4:30.

Cherished grandmother of 15 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and predeceased by her grandson Adam. Loved by her many nieces and nephews.

Jean's family would like to extend a sincere thank you to all the staff at Maplewood Manor and Dr. MacIntyre for all the care they showed Jean over the years.

Loving father of Rick Niemi (Marina) of Calgary, Kenneth Niemi (Dana) of Huntsville, Lynn Young (Elvin), Kim Sicker (Sam) and LeeAnn Hanes (Chuck) all of Bancroft.

Loved grandfather of Stacey (Joel), Jonathan (Rachelle), LeeAnne (James), Savanah (Mark), Kelly Ann (Tim), Troy (Cora), Joshua, and Tiffany (Lionel). Great-grandfather of Leanne, Nolan, Axton, Taevin, Mason, Silas, Finley, Chole, and Paige.

Predeceased by his grandson Darrell, his great-grandson Ryan and his brother Eino.

Fondly remembered by his cat Lily, and good friend Anna MacLaughlin.

Anna Maria passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, August 29th, 2015 at the age of 97.

Loving mother of Richard (Marg) and grandmother to Megan of Belleville. Beloved wife of the late Rev. Watson French.

Dearly missed by sisters-in-law Jess and Vee Nicholl, and Millicent Bradbury.

Predeceased by her parents George and Violet Nicholl, Watson's Parents; Richard and Annie French, her siblings; Madge, Gwen, Bill and George, her brothers-in-law; Jim Bishop, John Moise, Malcolm, Graham and James French.

Nan will be lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews and a large circle of relatives and friends as a passionate person who enjoyed a very fruitful and adventurous life. She loved to write using satire and humour to link the past with the present. Nan published her first book of poetry at 93. She was an accomplished artist in oils where she enjoyed teaching others for over ten years.

Being a minister's wife, Nan was a great organizer with church services, functions and Sunday School. Living a simple life, Nan enjoyed the hospitality of her home where everyone was welcome.

At Nan's request, cremation has taken place. Family and Friends are invited to call at the BELLEVILLE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL LTD 68 N. Front St. Belleville (613-968-5080) on Wednesday September 2nd, 2015 from 10:00-12:00 noon. Service to follow at 12 noon. Anyone is welcome to share their memories of Nan during the celebration. Inurnment will be held in Trenton.

The family would like to thank Dr. Jennifer Lynch, CCAC, VON Nurses, PSWs and the many home support workers for their professionalism, compassion and care.

Graduate of Etobicoke Collegiate and Laurier University, Bill was the city editor for several Canadian publications including the Toronto Sun and the Kitchener-Waterloo Record. He was an avid Ham radio enthusiast (call number VE3 AVO) and Lionel train collector.

A lover of nature, classic cars, and classical music, Bill thoroughly enjoyed his retirement years in Prince Edward County.

Cremation has taken place. MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at the Whattam Funeral Home Chapel, 33 Main Street, Picton, Ontario on Saturday, September 12th at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until service time.

Lajos Krekk passed away peacefully at home in his 92nd year with all three of his children at home.

He is survived by his son Gabriel, his daughters Maria (Tom) Deneault of Scarborough, Ontario and Bobbie (Fred) Deeter of Prescott, Arizona and his wife of 41 years, Violetta of Belleville.

Grandchildren, Gabriel Jr. (Jessica), Michael and Rachel. Great grandchildren, Brooke, Victoria and Tyler.

Lajos is predeceased by his sisters, Mariska and Ilonka and brothers, Sandor and Miklos.

Living sister, Joli lives in Debrecen with her husband Imre.

Lajos is also predeceased by his parents Andras and Ilona Krekk.

Private funeral arrangements out of Belleville.

Loving husband of 58 years to Shirley (Currie) of Demorestville. Dear father of Debbie (Bill) Powers of Demorestville, Cheryl (Gary) Pritchett of Cambridge and Jerry (Penny) MacDonald of Sutton.

Poppy will always be cherished in the hearts of his grandchildren Troy, Stacey, Tye, Shawn, Derrick and great-grandchildren Makayla, Alicia, Travis, Lucas and Marcus.

Lorne will be sadly missed by his sister Marion Abric of Toronto and his brother Jim (Diane) MacDonald of Mississauga. Pre-deceased by his parents Roy & Florence MacDonald, his brothers Ray, Frank and sisters Dorothy and June.

Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews and friends.
