Art Switzer, beloved husband of Debbie, loving father of Tammy of Buckhorn, Tiffany of Welland and Jason of Oshawa, dear grandfather of Nicholas, Mia, Ashley, Kala, R.J., Sianna, Monica and Madison and loving brother of Gary & Judy of Gilmour, Doug & Cheryl of Lower Faraday, Ernie & Bonnie of Lower Faraday, Judy of Peterborough, Phil & Dawn of Lower Faraday and Terry & Janet of Bancroft.

Art will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews and was predeceased by his parents: Bill & Marion Switzer and by his niece, Samantha.

Cremation. A service will take place at the Bancroft Pentecostal Tabernacle on Fribday, March 27th. Rev Lynn Watson officiating.

Passed away peacefully in the care of her family at Eden Place Retirement Residence on Tuesday, March 24th, 2015 in her 95th year.

Daughter of the late Blake and Margaret Ketcheson (nee Murray). Beloved wife of the late Gordon Bailey (1995). Loving mother to Susan Bailey of Belleville, Jewel Bailey (Paul Jackson) of Yellowknife, Heather Argyle (Barry) of Stirling, and Paul Bailey (Leslie) of Belleville.

Vera is survived by her sister Thelma Bailey (late Ross) and by sister-in-law Isabel Ketcheson. Pre-deceased by sister Marie West (Russ), and brothers Elwood and Bill Ketcheson.

Devoted grandmother to Timothy, Katie, Sara, Angus and Olivia.

In keeping with Vera’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Inurment in Springbrook will take place at a later date.

Marcel died peacefully on March 18th, surrounded by his wife and 3 daughters.

Although he lost his year long battle with cancer, his memory will live on within his family.

He will be sorely missed by his loving wife Lyse (Lefebvre) and daughters, Julie (Martin Lefaivre), Sylvie (Michel Richard), Natalie (Michel Kalf), and his 7 grand children François, Véronique, Ashley, Cassandra, Zachary, Geneviève and Sarah.

The family would like to thank the many close friends and family who visited him during the past few months. They helped comfort him with their touching stories and caring gestures.

The family would also like to extend their gratitude toward the staff members at Bruyère Hospital for the excellent care they provided him during the last 4 weeks of his life.

John Thomas Potts, 69, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 24th, 2015, at PRHC in Peterborough.

Born on July 25th, 1945 in Trenton to Sam and Margaret Potts. Brother to Jim (Theresa) Potts, Don (Connie) Potts, Sylvia (George) Reddom, Margie Potts, and Michael (Darlene) Potts.

Also survived by wife Donna Potts, sons Andrew (Sharon) Potts, and Ian (Colleen) Potts, and step son Scott (Michele) Gordon, and step daughter Tanya (Dale) Gordon.Proud Grandfather to Sean and Jack Potts, Elliott and Sadie Potts, Johnathan and Amber Gordon, and Courtney Major.

Touched so many lives at Peterborough Community Credit Union.

The memorial service will be held at St. John’s Anglican Church, 99 Brock Street, Peterborough, on Saturday March 28th, at 11AM. There will be a visitation from 10AM until 11AM and a social following the service.

Memorial donations can be made to Rectors Discretionary Fund, Quilts for Cancer, or Quota International of Peterborough Hearing Ear Dog Program.

Peacefully, at the Kingston General Hospital on Monday, March 23, 2015 in his 69th year.

Dear father of Chris (Kim) of Cambridge. Opa will always be cherished in the hearts of his grandchildren Gabriella & Katerina.

Pre-deceased by his brother Bert and his sister Hermina.

Survived by his sister-in-law Faye Borgerink of Florida. Fondly remembered by his nephews Paul, Alex, Patrick, Trillo and his extended family.

Following cremation, a Celebration of Life for Frank will take place at a later date.

Friends desiring may contribute in his memory to the Humane Society or the University Hospitals Kingston Foundation (UHKF).

A special thank-you is extended to the Dr's and nurses in the ICU at KGH for the tremendous care Frank received.

French_BuddyBuddy left us very peacefully at QHC on March 23, 2015.

He was 81 (1933-2015). He leaves behind his adoring wife Carrie (Caroline) and a beautifully blended family; Sharleen French, Rick French (Carol), Kathy French, Jackie Kay-LePors, Elizabeth French, and Susan Miller (Neil).

Bud also had fourteen grandsons; Kris (deceased), David (Amy), Robert (Josephine), Jamie, Daniel, Michael (Christa), Zane (Hudson), Christoph, Derek (Maddy), Roan, Mark, Sean, Lee, and Taj, and one great-grandson, Oliver.

A "Last Farewell" reception will be held in Belleville on Sunday, March 29th. Following that, everyone is welcome to join us for a taste of all Bud's favourite dishes.

Sadly missed by her son-in-law Jim Gaudaur of Trenton, her grandchildren, Stephen, Robert, Vanessa, Joshua, and her great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A private family service will be held. Cremation.

Dear brother of Jack Higgins of Verdun, PQ and Ron Higgins of Chateauguay, PQ. His is predeceased by brothers Christopher Jr., Robert, and Bryan. Bill is also survived by sisters-in-law, Florence Higgins, Camilla Higgins, Betty Mulrooney, brother-in-law Terry (Ruth) Gaul, and predeceased by brother-in-law Patrick Gaul and sister-in-law Linda Kennedy.

Bill was a member of the 4th Degree Assembly of the Knights of Columbus, Archbishop Wilhelm, Council 1008, currently serving as the Treasurer.

Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Church, 169 North Park Street, on Saturday, March 28th, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow.

A life long Belleville resident, Lynda was in her 76th year. Beautiful and beloved wife of Ian McColl for 56 years. Loving and cherished mother of Heather McColl (Scott), Peter McColl (Carrie) and Ian McColl (Pam).

Lynda was predeceased by her parents William and Nora Canning, her very special Aunt Bernice and Uncle Ross Bunnett and their daughter Shirley.

Loved and adored Nanny to her 5 grandchildren; Catrina, Andrew, Aden, Everett and Gracyn. Lynda will be fondly remembered by her cousins, their families, as well as her many close friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at Emmanuel Baptist Church (68 Rollins Dr. Belleville) on Tuesday, March 31st, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will commence from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. A reception will follow the service.

The Funeral Service will be held in Belleville on Saturday, March 28th.
