Dear sister of Pauline Flett, Patrick (Mary), Barbara Bryans (Charley), Steven (Connie).

Predeceased by her parents John and Hilda Keenan, brother John and lifelong friend Margo Hergott. Marlene was a loving and very proud aunt and great aunt.

Marlene will be fondly remembered by the Hergott Family She will be missed by her devoted four legged friends Bo and Puss.

Marlene had a great sense of humour and a unique gift of warmth and compassion. She touched the lives of all she encountered with her friendliness, sympathy and concern for others. Marlene was much loved and will be greatly missed.

Passed away suddenly at his home on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 in his 57th year.

Truly saddened and deeply missed by his sister Beth Hughes (nee Howe).

He is remembered and loved by his nieces and nephews, Heather Popovic (Krsto), Kevin Hughes (Teresa), Tammy Hughes (Ed) and Marcie Hughes (Lewis), and predeceased by Cheryl Williams (nee Hughes) (the late Carl). Cherished always by his great nieces and nephews and their families.

He will be missed by his friend Stan McIntosh.

Service will be held in Lindsay on Monday, October 27th.

Gerald was born March 30th, 1942 in Minden, Ontario. Later seeking employment, Gerald moved to the Lindsay area, where he remained until his passing. Gerald was a retired GM employee. He enjoyed his retirement travelling, camping, gardening and reading.

With his passing he leaves to mourn his friend and companion Joan. Sons William Jr. [Sherri] of Temple Texas, Duane [Cathy] of Oshawa, and Derek of Ottawa. Two Grandsons Ryan and Tyler of Temple Texas. Siblings Grenville [Doreen] of Peterborough, Audrey [Harvey] of Dorset, Murray of Little Smokey AB, and Marilyn [Lawrence] of Minden.

Predeceased by his parents Clayton and Irene [Cowen] and sisters Clara and Phyllis.

Arrangements out of Millbrook. Gerald requested no service prior to his cremation.

Beloved mother of Raymond (Suzanne) and Claudette (Leon Brisson). “Mémére” was deeply loved by her eight grandchildren Carole (Rick Benner), Louise, Lucille, Micheal, Yvonne (predeceased), Rose-Marie (Daniel Gour), Robert (Nicole) and Claude, and by her eight great-grandchildren Jeff, Luke, Nadia, Alexandre, Philippe, Jeremie, Joanne and Courtnee.

Deeply treasured by her extended Gauthier family Roland (Brenda), Donald (Nicole), Conrad (Carole), Michel (Maria) and Pauline. Dearly remembered by her sisters Gabrielle (Aldace Lacelle) & (Denis Boudreau), Mathilda (Frederic Lavallee), brothers Armand (Florianne), and Hermas (Therese).

Predeceased by her brothers John, Aurel (Marie-Anna), Marcel (Gilberte), and her sisters Aurore (Aurelle Fournier) & (Jack Rylance), Helene (Theodare Pellerin), and Emma (Raoul Laurence).

Cecile’s numerous nieces and nephews and her many countless friends will cherish her memories forever. Cecile’s passion in life was spending time with her family, visiting friends, travelling and gardening. She was the oldest relative who attended 21 years of “la Réunion de les Gervais."

The family is thankful for the great care and compassion Cecile received from all the wonderful staff at the Caressant Care Nursing Home.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Cecile’s Life will take place at a later date. Arrangements out of Sudbury, ON.

She was predeceased by her husband William (Bill) Hartnett 1987, her parents, two sisters and four brothers.

She is survived by her loving son John (wife Joan) of North Bay, 3 grandchildren Pamela, Jamie (Kelleigh), Erin (Dave) and 7 great grandchildren; Mikayla, Teagan, Ty, Darian, Eva, Peyton and Brittany. Also survived by her many nieces and nephews.

Many thanks for the wonderful care from the staff at Eastholme, Powassan and Lakeland Village in Lindsay.

Service will be held in Lindsay, on Monday, October 20th.

Diane was the beloved wife of Robert for 48 years.

Loving mother of Ted (Melissa) and Steven (Jane). Cherished grandmother to Allie, Connor and Josh. Diane is survived by her brother Bruce and sister Donna (Bruce Hill). Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her parents Donald and Agnes.

Diane was a proud member of the Oakwood and District Lions Club. She co-owned McFadden Sewing Centre with her husband for 44 years and was a geriatric nurse at Pinecrest Nursing Home in Bobcaygeon for 10 years.

Visitation will take place on Saturday, October 18th at Cambridge Street United Church, 61 Cambridge Street North, Lindsay at noon, followed by the funeral service at the church at 1 p.m.

Muriel is survived by her children and their spouses; Donna (Paul) Thompson, of Hillsdale ON, Dana Drake, of Squamish BC, Debra (James) Hamilton of Hawkestone, ON, and Darla (Dan) McQuarrie of Lindsay ON.  Muriel was the sweet and loving Grannie of Leah, Troy, Jay, Kari, Caitlin, Drake and Laird.

Muriel enjoyed playing cards, playing the organ, sewing and being with family and friends. She was an avid reader and a kind-hearted lady.

A Memorial Service will be held in Lindsay, on Saturday, October 18th.

If you wish, a donation can be made in Muriel’s honour to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.

Proud grandfather to Natalie, Darryl (Paula), Nicole (Diego), Michelle (Aaron), Laura (Ryan), and Heidi (Ryan), and great grandfather of Olive, Andreas, Owen and Jack. Dear brother of Ruth Anderson-predeceased (Raymond), Bill (Barbara) and Frank.

Predeceased by his parents Jack and Beatrice Fitsell.

Legion Service will be held in Lindsay on Thursday, October 16th. Cremation to follow.

Loving father of Pamela, Erin, Jonathon and Ecstasy. Proud grandfather to Jesse, Zoie, Chloe, Braydon and Cameron. Brother of John Campbell. Remembered by special friend Janice McLean-Ecclestone.

Jim was a long-time employee of General Motors, Oshawa and member of the American Quarter Horse Association as well as a man of strong Faith.

Funeral Service will be held in Lindsay, on Wednesday, October 22nd. Interment to follow.

Fred was the founder of the Buckhorn Yacht Harbour in 1974 and was an active member of the Kawartha Shrine Club.

Linda was a devoted member of Christ Church Anglican, Norwood and a dedicated teacher for many years with various School Boards.

Sadly missed by her children Jennie Styles (Paul) of Edmonton, Keri-Ann Stewart (Robin) of Ottawa, Joanna Henry (Ihab) of Toronto and Josh Henry (Tracey) of Buckhorn. Loving grandma of Jacob, Esther, Abby, Chloe, Lily, Ella and Jasmine.

Lovingly remembered by her mother Dorothy Saya-Whitmore of Markham, sisters Patricia Saya-Barcham, Joanne Saya-Harris, brothers Gordon & William Saya, sister-in-law Joan Smith and several nieces and nephews. She will also be fondly missed by those who called her friend.

Predeceased by her father Gerald and brother Thomas.

A funeral service will be held from Christ Church, Anglican, Norwood on Saturday, October 18th at 1:00 PM. A reception will follow in the fellowship hall of the church.

Passed away peacefully at the Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay on Friday, October 10, 2014 in his 90th year.

Don was the beloved husband of Gwen, for 66 years.

Loving father of Ken and Susan, Bob and Jane, Linda and Ken Fildes, Cathy and David, Carole and Frank, and Gordon and Wendy. Cherished grandfather of 15, and remembered always by his great grandchildren.

Don is survived by his brother Grant of Brighton, and is predeceased by his brothers Stuart and Kenneth and sister Doreen.

Don was a proud member of the Royal Canadian Navy and served on the HMCS Ingonish. Don was also the original owner and founder of Sleep Auto Body and Lindsay Crane Rentals.

In keeping with Don's wishes, cremation has taken place and a Private Family Service will take place at a later date.

The family wishes to thank the Community Care Kawartha Lakes, and the Staff at the Ross Memorial Hospital for all their care and support.

Donations to the Ross Memorial Hospital - Dialysis Unit would be appreciated by the family.
