In keeping with the family’s wishes cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or service.

The family would like to thank Dr. Naomi Ecob and the staff and Hospice volunteers in the Palliative Care Unit at Ross Memorial Hospital for their kind and compassionate care.

Cherished grandmother of Robert and his wife Jennifer Simpson, and Alana Knight and great-grandmother of Caleb, Lucas, and Chloe Simpson and Preston and Riley Knight.

Following cremation inurnment will take place in Lindsay.

Cherished grandfather of Silas (Cheryl), Carina (Anthony), Matthew (Samantha), Amanda (Troy), Jessica, Dallas, Chris, and Keelin. Great grandfather of Kaleb, Logan, Kylie, Thomas, and Rosalina.

Remembered by his sister Vreni Goetchi, daughter-in-law Bev Hafeli, and by his extended family and friends.

Visitation will be at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, 45 Russell Street West, Lindsay, Ontario on Thursday, April 30th from 12:00 p.m. until time of Funeral Service at the Church at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow in Lindsay.

Retired 38 ½ year employee of General Motors, born in Smeeton, Saskatchewan on May 17th, 1934, passed away peacefully in his sleep at Victoria Manor on Wednesday, April 22, 2015. “Perry” in his 81st year.

The beloved husband of the late Vivian.

Loving father of Jean (Bob Basset), Ron (Cindy), Fern (David Turner) and Don. Adored grandfather and “Papa” to Jennifer (Thaine Godfrey), Andrew (Kaussandra), Justin (Jamie), and Ashley (Patrick). Survived by his sisters Loretta Agnello (Peter), Cecile Gibbins (Dana), brother Bob (Nancy), and brother in-law Gene. Predeceased by his parents, his brother John and sister Jackie Nolan.

Perry will be missed by his many nieces, nephews, extended family and by his favorite fur-ball “Blackie”.

Friends are invited to St Paul’s Anglican Church, 45 Russell Street West, Lindsay on Saturday April 25th. Visitation will take place from 11:00 am until time of service at 1:00 p.m.  Interment at a later date.

Treasured grandmother of Matthew, Melisa, Daniel and Britney and great grandmother of Zoey.

Dear mother-in-law of Laurel. Loving daughter of the late George Thornbury and Ethel (nee McFadyen). Fondly remembered by her brother Angus (Doreen) Thornbury and predeceased by her sisters Sylvia Parrington, Birdie Le Vatte, Agnes Tamlin and Evelyn Ross, by her brother Robert (Bob) Thornbury and by an infant brother and sister.

Dear sister-in-law of Philip Ross of Lancaster and Shirley Thornbury of Lindsay. Dearly remembered by her nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Marie's wishes, cremation has taken place. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service at Eden Cemetery, Cambray on Thursday, April 23 at 1:00 P.M. with a reception to follow at the Fenelon Township Community Centre in Cambray.

Jean was the beloved wife of Peter Bakogeorge for over 68 years. Loving mother of Connie (Peter Shannon), Judy (Bob Rogers), Pat (Rick Irving), and Barbara (Marty Overwijk).

Proud Grandmother of Chris Shannon, Jeff Rogers, Andy Rogers, Jason Ford, Tony Ford, Adam Overwijk, and Matt Overwijk. Great-grandmother of 12. Predeceased by her parents and 3 siblings.

Jean was a faithful member of the Women of The Moose, The Rebekah Lodge, and Volunteer with Telecare. Jean was an active, long-time member and supporter of the WMS and served faithfully as an Elder at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church.

A special thank you to the staff at Frost Manor for their kind and compassionate care of Mom while she was a resident.

Peacefully, after a lengthy illness, at her former home at Quinte Gardens, Belleville.

Barbara Joyce Cameron (Hall), born in Toronto, where she lived and worked as a teacher for the Toronto Board of Education until 1985. Predeceased by husband G.R. (Rod) Cameron, step daughter Heather and step son Roddy (Squitz) Cameron.

Step mother to James (Debbie) and Sheila (David). Loving Nana to Jenna, Nikki and Charlie Cameron.

Barbara will also be missed by Cameron "Sisters" Maggie Eileen McCormick, Kathy Donevan, Libby Thomson, Jeannie Parker and Cathy Cameron.

A Memorial Service will be held in Belleville on Thursday, April 23rd. A reception will follow.

The family would like to express our appreciation to the staff at Quinte Gardens, CCAC, VON and Dr. Jim Reid for their kindness and support.

Storey_BobPassed away on Monday, April 20, 2015 in his 92nd year at the Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay.

Loving husband of Audrey (Osmond) of Manilla for 68 years. Bob will be sadly missed by his daughter Linda and son in law Les Nippard and his grandsons Ryan and Kyle.

Also missed by Shirley (Dave) and Dorothy. Predeceased by his son Ralph (April 2, 2015).

Bob served in the Navy in WWII. He was an IBM employee for 32 years. Upon retiring at 57 he left the city to farm and raise cattle.

Bob was a pancreatic cancer survivor of 20 years thanks to Dr. Langer at Toronto General Hospital. Many thanks to his family physician Dr. Peter Petrosoniak and Dr. Clements and the wonderful caring staff at Ross Memorial.

Cremation. There will be no services.

If desired, in memoriam donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Multiple Sclerosis Society would be appreciated by the family.

Age 66 years. Peacefully, Sunday, April 19, 2015 at the Maison Vale Hospice with his loving wife at his side.

Beloved husband of Laurie-Anne Cameron (nee Saulnier). Loving father of Kevin Cameron (Sharon). Stepfather to Melanie Messina and Kelsey Lavallée (Shawn). Cherished grandfather of Foster Cameron and Liam Lavallée. Dear son of Roslyn and Helene Cameron, both predeceased.

Dear brother of Keith Cameron (predeceased) (Louise) and Roy Cameron (Mary). Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews, sisters and brothers-in- law and sadly missed by his fur babies Kenzie and Misha and his fur granddaughters Mocha and Ramsay.

Gary retired from INCO after 38 and a half years, as a miner. He enjoyed the outdoors and was a tremendous animal lover. He liked to dabble in welding, electricity and cars. He had the most wonderful and powerful laugh. He will be sadly, sadly missed.

The family expresses their appreciation to the staff and volunteers at the hospice for their excellent care and compassion.

Memorial Visitation in Sudbury on Thursday, April 23rd. Cremation.

Sister of Doris Mountney of Bancroft, the late Ross Buchanan, and the late Lawrence Buchanan. Sister-in-law of Doreen Buchanan of North Bay. Lovingly remembered by life-long friends Hope and Ross Kingyens of Brighton.

Sadly missed by the shining stars of her life, her grandchildren, Lacey (Brendan), Kristin (Neil), Shannon (Dave), Josh (Holly), Katie (Rob), Krystal (Robert), Rob (Courtney), Krissy (Shawn), Brittany, Matthew, and great grandchildren, Jemma, Grady, Lucy, Edmund, Woodrow, Liam, Charlie, Hayley, Brodie, and Tyson. Formerly of Bobcaygeon, where he co-owned and operated Lonesome Pine Park with his family. John was a Project Manager with Stone and Webster Canada in Toronto before moving to Bobcaygeon.

Tess and John immigrated to Canada in 1967 from Bridgwater, Somerset, England with kids in tow. He is predeceased by his loving wife Teresa Ismay Burton (nee Apperley) (June 4, 1930 – February 6, 2009)

Loving father to Jamie & Michelle, Jane & Mike; grandfather to David, Sarah & David, Brandon and Shelby; doting great-grandfather to Ismay. Eldest brother of Bob, Stan, Diana, Mike and Jeanette all of the United Kingdom.

John will be dearly missed by everyone who knew him.

Lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. She was friend to many, and a servant to the Lord. She will be remembered by her service to others.

Having no children of her own she spent her life nurturing nieces and nephews, her students, in her church and in camps.
