Janice was the cherished wife of Gary for 36 years. Devoted mother of Jason and his wife Sabrina, and Marissa.
The end of her life was brightened by the joy of her granddaughter, Brynn. Loving daughter of the late Eleanor (nee McWhirter) and the late Ken and Margaret Gilpin (survived).
Much loved sister of Steve Gilpin (Mary Jane Fenton), Karen Gilpin, and Valerie (John Tittel). Sadly missed by nieces, nephews, extended family, and many more close friends.

He wanted people to come and see him while he was still here and could enjoy their company, which he did on his 90th birthday with a celebration of his life. He spoke of how special that gathering of friends and relatives was right up to the day he passed.

LINDSAY, 'Peggy' Frances Beatrice (nee Ferris) -
7 August 1921 - 6 February 2012
In her heart, hands and deeds, Peggy Lindsay was caring and compassionate with everyone she met, and passed away peacefully in her 90th year in Toronto. Daughter of Rev. Roland Boyd Ferris and Maud (Go Go) Alger, she is survived by her sister Betty Moore and brother Boyd Ferris, and predeceased by sister Mary Milsom.
Peggy was the beloved wife and partner of Dr. William Kerr Lindsay for 63 years, and the devoted mother of William (Patty), Barbara (Norm Hotson), Katherine (John Riley) and Anne (John Weyman); grandchildren Jennifer (John Collard), Melissa and James Lindsay, Brett (Daisy), Kai (Vivian Chin) and Tyler Hotson, Reed (Fran Wu) and Julia Riley, and Tosh (Natasha Chatterjee), Jesse and Luke Weyman; and great grandchildren Parker, Tate and Clay.
Peggy was born in Toronto and raised in London and Grimsby, Ontario. She attended the University of Western Ontario in London and, while training as a nurse at Toronto General Hospital, she cared for a young patient who would later ask her to marry him. Peggy and Bill married on 15 February 1945 and together they worked and raised their young family in Halifax, Sudbury, Montreal and Dallas, settling finally in Toronto.
During those early years, Peggy worked as a RN and public health nurse and, when her family was grown, she returned to public health nursing in Toronto. Peggy and Bill loved the country life, initially cottaging on Go Home Bay and then building their farm together in the hills of Mono.
Peggy was a master gardener of fruits and vegetables, and her family and friends enjoyed her produce and preserves year round. An excellent chef and gracious hostess to family, friends, neighbours and colleagues, Peggy celebrated the past Christmas at the farm with family.
She was wise, energetic and deeply engaged in the activities of her far flung family, church and volunteer work, bridge and book clubs and knitting, until the week before her death. Timothy Eaton Memorial Church will greatly miss Peggy as a retired Trustee, member of the Sanctuary Guild and many other committees. She was a longstanding member of the Big Sister's Association - Hope Page Circle, now Youth Link.

It is with great sadness that we announce Beth's passing on the evening of Sunday, February 5, 2012 at Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay, in her 71st year.
Taken much too soon, Beth fought valiantly against cancer and will be remembered by all who knew her for her sharp wit and kind heart.
Beth is predeceased by her parents Vernon and Hazel Saulter, and brother Ray. She is survived by her sister Joan (Sherman) Harrison and brother Ted Saulter.
The proudest mother and grandmother you could ever meet, Beth will be lovingly remembered by her sons John Jr. (Swallow), Christopher (Lesley), granddaughters Olivia and Emily, as well as nieces, nephews and their children.
A special thank you to Dr. McMillan and the surgical healthcare team at Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay for their skilled and compassionate care of Beth, as well as to the many friends and relatives who helped guide Beth through this final stage of her journey.
Beth's life will be celebrated at a memorial service in Lindsay on Saturday, February 11th.
