Survived by her brother Jerry Cross.

As per Pat’s wishes, there will be no funeral services.  Cremation has taken place.

Passed away at the Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay on Sunday, July 27th, 2014 at the age of 67. 

Bob is survived by his wife Debbie, daughter Kristy (Tannis) and family, in-laws Dot and Bill Reid, step-mom and sister Doreen and Leslie and his brother Rick.  Bob’s dad Fred Waites and mother Roberta Heron are deceased.  Sister and Brother in-law Candie and Jim Hatzis.

Bob retired on July 1, 2000 from the Scarborough District School Board as Chief Caretaker at Agincourt Collegiate.  Bob was a friend to many and he cherished all of the love and visits at home and in the hospital at the end. 

Arrangements out of Lindsay.  At his request, cremation is to be his final goodbye.

Donations appreciated in his honour to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Canadian Mental Health Association (no flowers) or a charity of your choice. 

A 'Thank-You' to his many and favourite Para-Med nurse and PSW Alison and Kevin and all those in Palliative Care who contributed in easing Bob’s journey. We could not have gotten through this journey without the support and care from Dr. Naomi Ecob who is an outstanding family doctor and a true friend.

Cherished grandmother of 13 and great grandmother of 17. Daughter of the late Cresswell and the late Eva (nee Armstrong) Cunday, sister of the late Melville and Alvin Cunday.

The Funeral will be held in Lindsay, on Wednesday, July 30th. Interment in Fenelon Falls.

Dave passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 20, 2014. 

He was the beloved father of Andi (Mick), Joanna (Ilija), Ruth, Paula and Adam (Nga), and devoted grandfather of 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. 

He will be greatly missed by his sister Joanna (Roy) and family in England as well as the Ricker family in and near Dunnville. 

David was predeceased by his beloved wife of 42 years, Miriam (1993), and by his parents Clifford and Margaret.

David was born on November 28, 1928 in Scarborough, England.  He studied agriculture at the now University of Guelph, and while there met Miriam Rose Ricker.  He farmed near Dunnville and then in Yorkshire. He returned to Canada in 1974 and settled near Lindsay, Ontario where he continued to farm.  He was a lover of nature, adventure, travel, sailing and books. 

He lived his life with kindness, integrity, generosity and a great sense of humour. His wonderful spirit will live on in all of his family. 

Relatives and friends are invited to call at the St. Paul's Anglican Church, 45 Russell Street West, Lindsay on Monday, July 28th from 11:00 A.M. until time of funeral service in the church at 12:00 noon.

Interment to follow at Riverside Cemetery, Lindsay.

Cameron_JamesPassed away suddenly but very peacefully on Thursday, July 18, 2014 in his 84th year.

Jim was born in Glasgow in 1931, making Canada his home in 1954.

James began his long and distinguished career in Biomedical engineering at Toronto Western Hospital where he designed the first coronary unit and later, after moving to Sunnybrook Health Science Centre, contributed to opening Canada's first pacemaker clinic.

Jim was a pioneer as one of the first Biomedical Engineers in the country and designed, assisted and participated in many cardiovascular 'firsts.' He was a sought-after consultant, teacher, lecturer and author of numerous international publications.

James had a larger than life personality, never shied away from making his opinion known, loved to help others find solutions and was a person many relied on.

James will be sadly missed by his daughters, Carol (Paul) and Lynda (Mike), his grandchildren Kendall (Simon), Logan, Owen, Scott (Teri), Kristen, Christopher (Gihie), Nathan and family in Scotland. His wife of 57 years, Nancy, passed away only months ago and James missed her dearly.

A private cremation has taken place.

Together with his wife Nancy, Jim will make his last trip home to Scotland, accompanied by his daughters in August.

A Celebration of James' Life will be held at MOUNT LAWN RECEPTION CENTRE, 21 Garrard Road, Whitby (North of Hwy 2) 905-443-3376 on Saturday, July 26th at 10 am.

Lesley took her final breath at the Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay after an 18-month battle with cancer.

Loving wife to Mike Archambault. Beloved mother to Eric Archambault (Ashley Archambault), and Terri Hofinger (Marc Hofinger). Adoring grandmother to Jacob, Alexa and Fiona.

Lesley enjoyed 1.5 years of retirement and loved to travel, golf and curl.  Most of all she loved to spend time with her grandchildren. Lesley will be greatly missed by family and friends. 

Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday, July 22nd at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (70 Toronto Street N.). at 11 a.m.

Beloved mother of Gerard (Donna), Kevin (Angela), Edward (Shelley), Peter (Lisa) and Maureen (David Potts).

The cherished grandmother of 13 grandchildren: Kyle, Lucas, Victoria, Connor, Andrew, Jeremy, Ryan, Evan, Laura Sullivan, and Mary, Samuel, Ellen and Julia Potts and great-granddaughter Catherine Wood. Their fond memories are shared by nieces, nephews and generations of neighbouring children.

She is predeceased by her parents Francis Heffernan and Kathleen Towns, and siblings Gerald, Sr. Isabel, and Joseph.

She is survived by her siblings: Fr. Bernard Heffernan, Carmella LeMoire (Laverne), Helen Condon (Vince), Anne, Teresa Westlake (Roger) and sister-in-law Jean (d. Joseph).

A lifelong parishioner of St. Joseph's Douro, longtime member of the C.W.L., Douro Seniors Club and Kawartha Quilters Guild, her presence and contributions to the community will be greatly missed. After a varied working career, home was where family, friends and strangers experienced the bounty of her hospitality.

Heartfelt thanks to the staff of B4 and the Palliative Care Unit of P.R.H.C for their consideration and assistance in aiding the family and Monica through her transition.

Arrangements out of Peterborough. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph's Church, Douro on Monday, July 21st at 11 a.m. Interment to follow.

Dearly Beloved wife of the late Harold (2003).

Beloved Mother of Shirley Anne (Ron) Sundberg of Lindsay and Harvey Alan Tribe of B.C.

Loving Grand Mother of Bradley Redshaw, Tracey (Peter) Clyne , Natalie Tribe (Chris). And predeceased by Adam.

Great Grand Mother of Andrew Chilton, Alex Chilton, Scott Clyne and Parker Clyne.

Sister to Annie Tycholiz of Saskatchewan, Maurice Malynyk and predeceased by Mary Fortino and Walter Malynyk.

Olga will be missed by extended family and friends.

LEMIRE, James Raymond 'Marty' -

Known to all as Marty, at his home on Saturday, July 12, 2014 after a short but brave battle with cancer. With him were his devoted wife, Kaaren and his loving daughter Andrea. 

Marty is survived by his stepsons, Frank (Natasha) and Marc (Katie) and their children and his brothers William and Lawrence (Suzanne). 

Marty’s dedicated career as a teacher, coach and department head at De La Salle College 'Oaklands', Toronto spanned four decades.  His retirement enabled him to enjoy such passions as bridge, horseshoes, boating and cheering on his beloved Blue Jays. 

At Marty’s request, cremation has taken place.  A Celebration of Life will be held in Lindsay on Sunday, August 24th.

Memorial donations may be made to the Peterborough Regional Health Centre Palliative Care Unit, whose remarkable staff eased the progression of his illness enabling family and friends to spend happy times with him.

At his residence on Thursday, July 10, 2014. Frank MacMullin of Peterborough, formerly of Cape Breton, N.S. and Toronto, in his 81st year.

Lovingly remembered by his wife of 58 years Frances (McPhee) MacMullin; son Paul Michael and his partner Gail Mathews of Windsor, Ontario.

Memorial prayers will be held in Peterborough on Thursday, July 17th. Inurnment at Lakefield at a later date.
