Mary Elizabeth Webster, formerly of Fenelon Falls was the beloved wife of the late Alan Isaac Hetherington (1987).

Loving mother of John(Vivian) of Kinmount and Ruth Wigmore(Eric) of Bowmanville and mother-in-law of Norah Hetherington (the late Paul-1998) of Oshawa, predeceased by Brian(Lizann) 1979. Dearly remembered by 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren and sister-in-law Helen. Predeceased by sister Sarah(Melville), brothers Alex(Sadie), Fred(Rita), Harry(Lila) and Victor.

Funeral Service will be held in Fenelon Falls on Friday, August 29th. Interment.

Loving father of Christine McEwan and Robert McEwan, Jr. Cherished grampa of Kevin. Bob is survived by his sister Nancy Dice (Dennis), and her sons Jamie and Tyler. Devoted master to his dog Bonnie. Bob will be remembered always by his extended family and his many friends.

Fondly remembered by her extended Teel and Marshall families and by her friends.

Cherished grandmother of Myles, Frederick, Adam and Jeff.

Passed away peacefully with family by his side after a brief illness with cancer at the Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay on Thursday, August 21, 2014 in his 68th year.

Beloved husband of Diane. Loving father of Jay, Darryl and Colin. Father-in-law of Joelle, Camilla and Melanie. Cherished grandfather of Indya, Sienna, Ryan, Jack and Talin.

Dear brother of George (Dorothy), late John and survived by his sister-in-law Mary. Sadly missed by all his nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Jim will be remembered for his 40 years involvement with the Newfoundland Dog Club of Canada. He later pursued his Judging License and judged in nine different countries, for 12 different Newfoundland dog specialties, Judged 1- Sporting Group, Group 3, Working Group, Group 7 – Herding Group.

Jim spent many years coaching, managing and scouting players at many different levels, including 17 years with the OHL.

Visitation will be held at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West, (905-721-1234) on Tuesday, August 26th from 2:00 p.m. until time of Memorial Service in the Chapel at 3:00 p.m.

Beloved wife of the late Cyril Hall (1992).

Loving mother of Geoffrey (Doreen) of Ancaster and Alan (Cindy) of Wilberforce. Fondly remembered by her grandchildren Ryan, Michael, David, Jaclyn and by nine great grandchildren. Dear sister of Ernest (Dorothy) of Dundas.

Predeceased by brothers and sisters Tom, Clara, Edith, Eliza and Frances.

Lilian was born on February 23, 1923 in Sheffield, England. She survived the Second World War and came to Canada in 1963. She raised her two children and had a cottage in Haliburton.

In later years, she moved to the Haliburton Highlands. She enjoyed dancing, parties, gardening, and loved knitting for the grandchildren and most of all her family.

A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.

Beloved husband of the late Iris Miller-Clement (nee Toms).

Loving father of James Miller, Deborah Dack, Jackie (Tim Mayhew), Karen (Norm Perrott). Mentor and friend to Junior LaPorte, Laurie Johnson and Edna McBurney and to many others.

Fondly remembered by his grandchildren Maria, Tom, Jenny, Josh, Luke and Jillian and his great grandchildren and the loving Neville Family.

Brother of Don and Patsy. Predeceased by his beloved brother Babe (Morris). Also remembered by many nieces and nephews.

Grant owned and operated his own business G. Clement Construction for over 40 years in Haliburton County. He built almost all of the roads in the Misquabi development (Trapper's Trail). Grant was a hunter and fisherman. He was happiest in his gravel pit on a piece of heavy equipment, flying his airplane, or travelling the roads of Haliburton County.

Grant spent the final seven years of his life in the caring hands of the staff at the Hyland Crest Nursing Home in Minden.

Funeral Service will be held in Haliburton on Saturday, August 23rd. Interment.

As expressions of sympathy donations to Food For Kids would be appreciated because Grant felt it was important to look after children in this Community.

JOHNSON, Ruby -

Peacefully on Sunday, August 17, 2014, at the Caressant Care Nursing Home in Lindsay, at age 97.

Ruby (nee Wotten), beloved wife of the late Albert Johnson.

Loved mother of Willie Johnson (deceased) and his wife Janice of Lifford and Linda and her husband Norman Stiles of Woodville. Loving grandmother of George, Patricia, Paul and Dianne and great grandmother of Jessica, Emily, Beth, David, Amber, Brandon, Madelyn and Avery.

Survived by her sister Dorothy Archer of Blackstock, and she was predeceased by her sister Helen Bradburn and her brothers Henry and Roy Wotten.

Funeral Service will be held in Port Perry with Reverend Linda Saffrey officiating.  Interment, Blackstock.

If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the Canadian Cancer Society.

(Leading Aircraft Mechanic based in Patricia Bay, Vancouver (Comox); worked on Rolls-Royce Merlin Engines for the RCAF during WWII; Graduate of the University of Toronto Engineering 1952; Former employee of C.I.L.; Founder of Lawrence Engineering; Member of the Canadian Power Squadron; and Member of the Kawartha Lakes Flying Club)

Entered into rest peacefully at the Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay, on Sunday, August 17, 2014 at the age of 91.

John was the beloved husband of the late Billie Patricia (nee Glover). Loving father of Patricia and Jean Chrétien, John and Betty Jean, George and Kim, Ian and Carol and Keith and Rose. Cherished "Pops" of Chantal (Chris), André (Jayme), Lisette (predeceased), Danielle (Justin), Christopher (Laura), Eric (Agnesa), Shane (Carina), Corey, Joey, Laxciha, Tiffany, Michael, Kevin (Deepshikha), Melissa, Ryan (Jazmine), Kyle (Amy) and Wesley. Great-grandfather of Cassandra, Marcus, Rylan, Charlotte, Rayna and Azariah. Also remembered by Louann (Matt), Don and Nickie (Jason) and their children Jeff, Kayden, Alison, Khenlee, Elias, Dastan, Jordan, Tyler, Makenna, Emily, Hailey and Rachel.

John is survived by his sister Muriel Cluett and predeceased by his parents Dr. G.C. Lawrence and Emma Lawrence, of Lindsay. Special friend of Greg, Jody and Irene.

Service will be held in Lindsay, on Saturday, August 23rd.  Interment to follow.

Memorial donations to Sleeping Children Around the World would be appreciated by the family.

Passed away peacefully at Case Manor, Bobcaygeon on Sunday, August 17, 2014. Clarence McCue of Curve Lake in his 92nd year.

Loving husband of the late Evelyn Pearl McCue (2009).

Always loved and remembered by his son Jim McCue of Peterborough and son-in-law Murray Pryce of Goderich. Dear grandfather of Sally, Adam, Jonathan, Matthew, Mark and great grandfather of 17 great grandchildren. Predeceased by his daughter Joanne Pryce, parents Alice & Leslie, brothers Fred (Marina), Stewart and sisters Aileen Irons (Amos) and Marjorie Ireland (Wilfred).

Arrangements out of Lakefield.  Friends and relatives may call at the Curve Lake Community Church on Thursday, August 21st from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.

A funeral service will be held at the church on Friday, August 22nd at 2:00 PM. A reception will follow at the Curve Lake Community Centre. Private family interment in Goderich.

Memorial donations may be made to the Curve Lake First Nation Recreation Committee as expressions of sympathy.

A special thank you to niece Leona Cummings and nephew Byron Irons, for their love and concern for Clarence.

Ma_KalieKalie was born in Hong Kong on April 29, 1981 and was raised by her beloved Grandpa and Grandma (deceased). She came to Canada about 10 years ago with hopes of a new life and she found it.

We have lost a special angel whose heart touched every one she met with her love and warmth. Kalie left us on Friday August 15, 2014 in her 34th year.

She was the much loved god daughter of Richard (Grandpapa) and Sally (Granny) Biagi. Totally loved and cherished by all our family and many, many friends. She will be missed by her family and friends in Hong Kong and around the world.
