Burch SylviaBURCH, Sylvia Blanche (Bennett) - (March 12, 1947 - September 17, 2017) -

Sylvia was born in Bristol England, to parents Blanche and Albert and sister to Pauline. She came to Canada in 1967 after graduating from college in England. She found work at the College Bibliocentre: Ontario Government where she stayed for 10 years, initially in Hamilton and later in Toronto.

It was in Toronto that Sylvia met Frank, and they were married in July 1976. She became a Canadian citizen in 1980.

After their marriage Sylvia and Frank moved to Deseronto, Ontario where they purchased Mohawk Bay trailer park. This they regenerated and ran successfully for 23 years, meeting and hosting a lot of wonderful staff and campers. Since their retirement in 2000 they continued to live in the local community.

Passed away peacefully at Providence Care Hospital on September 15, 2017 in his 70th year, after a valiant two and a half year battle with pancreatic cancer.

Lovingly remembered by his wife Diana Reid, his stepchildren Tina, Suzanne (Jeff), and their children Kira, Skye and Kaleb. Michelle (Lee), Natahsa (Joe) and their children Jack and Leta; birth children: Victoria and daughter Jenny, Emily (Richard) and their children Wil and Brindle, Grant (Samantha) and their children Hannah and Benjamin; and his honorary children and grandchildren: Jackie (Brian) grandchildren Chelsea and Jacob, Grand daughters Alexis, Mariah, Sierra, Angela and Willow; as well as all who were embraced into John’s family through fate.

Seath BillSEATH, William Marshall 'Bill' - Bill passed quietly in the morning of September 14, 2017.

Born in Montreal on July 22, 1929 to James Marshall Seath and Doris Isabel Seath (Mathews). He spent his early years in rural Ontario along the St Lawrence River. Bill was back in Montreal for high school and then off to Royal Roads in Victoria for two years. He finished university at McGill on the Dawson campus for Mechanical Engineering graduating in 1952.

Bill went to work for Pratt and Whitney right after university. He retired in 1991 as Vice President of Quality Assurance after 39 years. Bill’s attention to detail and specifics were valued as part of the Pratt and Whitney team.

Bill married the fun loving Rhea Jane Simpson in 1954. They were married for 52 years before she passed in 2006.
