SMILLIE, William 'Raymond' Dunsmuir - Passed away on October 4, 2017 in his 70th year after a brief, but brave battle with cancer. Raymond died peacefully with his wife, Barbara and dear friend Bob, by his side.
Raymond proudly served a 4-year term in the Royal Canadian Navy and, as a police officer with the Ontario Provincial Police for 30 years (retired).
A devoted husband of 51 years and loving father to daughter Kimberly Ann (Kevin) and son William "Aaron" Sean Dunsmuir. Loving grandfather to Kerreena (Chris),Jordon and Kayla, great grandchildren Kale and Jaxon.

GAZELEY, Father Charles Hilliard 'Chuck' - Father Charles Gazeley passed away at Kingston General Hospital on October 4, 2017, just four days short of his 86th birthday.
He was born in Kingston, Ontario, on October 8, 1931, the son of Charles Gazeley and Genevieve Morris. He attended St. Mary’s School and Regiopolis College, Kingston, the University of Toronto, and St. Augustine’s Seminary.
He was ordained a priest for the Archdiocese of Kingston on May 4, 1958, at St. John the Apostle church in Kingston.
From 1958-1959, he served as Associate Pastor at St. Mary’s Cathedral, Kingston; from 1959-1964, as Associate Pastor at St. Francis Xavier Parish, Brockville; and, from 1964-1983, as Associate Pastor at St. Joseph Parish in Belleville. While in Belleville, Father Gazeley taught for 20 years at Nicholson Catholic College.

McAVOY, Father Paul James - Father Paul McAvoy passed away peacefully at Providence Manor, Kingston, Ontario, on Sunday morning, October 1, 2017, in his 89th year.
He was born in Brockville, Ontario, on August 17, 1929, the son of Dr. James McAvoy and Carmel Cavanagh.
He attended St. Francis Xavier Separate School, Brockville; Regiopolis College, Kingston; and St. Patrick High School, Ottawa.He entered St. Augustine's Seminary, Toronto, in 1950, and was ordained a priest for the Archdiocese of Kingston on May 26, 1957, at St. Mary's Cathedral in Kingston.
MacNEIL, Margaret 'Marg' (nee Giebitz) - (1932 - 2017) - Passed away quietly in her sleep on October 1, 2017. Born in New Waterford Cape Breton, Nova Scotia.
Reunited now with her husband Jim, son Garfield grandson Shawn and her parents Mary and Frank Giebitz. Survived by daughters Anita, Heather and son Steven. Grandsons Christopher and Sheldon. Her sister Sandra who always held a special place in her heart.

Henry had a long rich life. He grew up in Ottawa, very different from today, attending a one-room school house before continuing his education at the University of Ottawa High School.
During World War II, he completed a tour of duty in Europe on a Lancaster as a mid upper gunner on loan to the RAF. He volunteered to go to the Pacific with the RCAF but the war ended before they were dispatched. He reached the rank of Pilot Officer.
