Daughter of Marie Gladys Carruthers and Major General Charles Francis Constantine.
Predeceased by sisters Frances Doone Hamilton and Anne Elizabeth Ginn.
Survived by eight nieces and nephews and too many cousins to count.
Girl Guide, Ranger, Volunteer, Veteran, curler, sailor, chicken farmer, kind and patient teacher of many practical things including how to love a storm, how to laugh, how to shoe a horse and how to fix a leaky roof.
Ewie spent her life caring for others and for her beloved Carruthers Point Girl Guide Camp.
She adored and was adored by a series of unruly dogs, and she was loved and appreciated by many humans for her steady reliable presence and for simply doing things most women of the time didn’t try.
