For years, we have posted regional death notices as a free public service, while taking on the complete cost of publishing ourselves. We can no longer do so.

Without participating Funeral Centres, Cemeteries, Monument Suppliers and Local Businesses advertising with us, we can no longer run this website at a financial deficit.

We have received dozens of emails by folks upset at the discontinuation of our daily updates, and we apologize.  We also love this site, and considered it a great service to the public by accumulating and listing all Regional Obituaries in one spot.

Also, we appreciate the privacy to not contact the families of friends for funeral arrangements who may be shortly passing, as well as, friends not having to frequently check all local funeral centre websites for service information.

Much beloved wife of Peter for 38 years.

Sylvia leaves behind her loving daughters Renee (Guillermo), Monique and Paula (Dylan). Cherished grandmother of Johann and Vivian.

Nadeau AndreNADEAU, André  - Mr. André Nadeau passed  away on July 28th, 2018 in Welland, Ontario, at the age of 76 years old. 

He will be greatly missed by his sons; Normand (Denise Paré) and Dominic,  his grandchildren; Gabel Nadeau and Kamée Nadeau, his sisters; Valéda Nadeau, Nicole Nadeau, Noëlla Hardman, his brothers; Jules Nadeau, Michel Nadeau, his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law as well as many nephews, nieces and friends. 

Predeceased by his parents Adjutor Nadeau and Marie-Jeanne Gaudet, his brothers Léo and Lucien and his sister Marie-Paule.

Loving wife to David of 48 years. Cherished mother to the late Matthew (2000) and Rebecca (Ryan) Beresh.

CRAIG, Theadore Emile 'Ted' - Suddenly, at Greater Niagara General Hospital, Niagara Falls, on Friday, July 27, 2018.

Ted Craig of Lowbanks, formerly of Toronto, was the husband of the late Alice (nee Brisson) and the late Marjorie (nee Parks).

Ted had no biological children of his own, but readily accepted the children of both Alice and Marjorie as his own.

Azzano ItaloAZZANO, Italo - The Lord united us until death do us part, my love, I never thought it would be this soon. But, as we both believed, "Thy will be done" and now you wait in heaven until I see you again.

Italo passed away suddenly at Hamilton General Hospital on Friday July 27, 2018 at the age of 77.

Loving and devoted husband of 39 years to Francesca "Francie" Azzano. Cherished father and best friend of Luca and adoring Pa of Alicia.

Loving son of the late Secondo and Maria Azzano and son-in-law of Mansueto "Mike" and the late Giacomina Cassolato.

Krasnay KevinKRASNAY, Kevin George - Of Welland, Ontario, passed away at the age of 57, surrounded by family on July 26th, 2018, at Hospice Niagara.

Kevin was born on March 23rd, 1961 in Welland. In 1982, he married Louisa (nee Spinosa), and together they had 2 children, Mary and Michael.

Kevin worked for 15 years at Northern Telecom in Brampton, and in 2000 he began his vocation in education with the District School Board of Niagara. After 7 years with Eastdale Secondary School he spent the last 11 years teaching construction at Welland Centennial Secondary School.

Day MaeDAY, Mae - (June 6, 1944 - July 26, 2018) -  It is with a heavy heart I say see you soon to My Best Friend, Hero and Confidante.

Mae is predeceased by her daughter Tracey. She will be greatly missed by her daughter Denise and son Emerson.

She was grateful for her Angel sister Annie, who stuck by her side like no other. Mom will be missed by many grandchildren.

Brauweiler RudyBRAUWEILER, Rodolph 'Rudy' After a long illness, Rudy passed away on July 26th, 2018 at the Welland Hospital Woolcott Wing in his 89th year.

He is survived by his wife Huguette (Dostie) and his children Rodolphe Jr. and Nancy.  Predeceased by every member of his family

Rudy began his working career at Atlas Steel Ltd for a short period and moved on to Page Hersey Tubes in 1949 applying his trades in maintenance until his retirement in 1988.
