Power MarilynPOWER, Marilyn Grace (nee Simpson) - Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at the age of 76.

Beloved wife of 52 years to Brian Power.  Dearly loved mother of Carolyn (Daniel) Wheeler and Kevin (Leigh) Power.  Cherished grandmother of Patrick and Rebecca Wheeler, Michael and Christopher Power.

Dear sister of David (Molly) Simpson. Lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews and many friends.

Marilyn was a teacher for 25 years with the Niagara South Board of Education and spent 21 of those years at Maple Street School.

Cremation has taken place.  Friends are invited to call at the Patterson funeral home, 6062 Main St., Niagara Falls for visiting on Monday, October 16th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm.  A Funeral Service in celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, October 17th at 11 am at the funeral home.

Private interment will take place at a later date in Fairview Cemetery.

In memory of Marilyn, donations to Wellspring Niagara or The Ride to Conquer Cancer would be appreciated by her family.
