(June 29, 1929 - April 24, 2013)
Passed away comfortably at the Niagara Health Centre with his loving family by his side in his 84th year.
Loving husband for 53 years to the late Adeline(2006). Beloved father to Michael (2010) (Lawna), Laurie Cameron and Leslie (Al) Penner. Proud grandfather to Michael Storosko Jr., Sarah Storosko(Grant), Aimee Storosko Brown (Tim), Nicholas Atalick (Dreanna), Rob Atalick (Ralitsa), Lacy Atalick, Joe Falconi (Dawn), Rachel MacGregor and Amanda MacGregor (Kristian). Great grandfather of Tyson, Keegan, Jayden, Jude, Ruth and Rylie.
Michael is survived by his brother Edward (Betty) and sister in law Mary Jane Baker.
Dad managed Corupe’s Hardware in Port Dalhousie and then went on to sell life insurance for London Life until his retirement in 1993. He was an active member in the Port Dalhousie Lion's Club, and enjoyed travelling and spending time in his garage. He most loved spending time with all of his grandchildren.
The family wishes to extend a sincere thank you to The Port Dalhousie Lion's Club, Dr. Minkarious, the Dialysis Unit at the St Catharines Hospital, the 3rd Floor Nursing Station D and Canon Gord Kinkley for all their care and compassion. And an extra big thank you to his granddaughter Amanda for all her special TLC and all the time she spent with him.
A Celebration of Michael's Life will take place in St. Catharines on Tuesday. Cremation to follow.

On Tuesday April 23, 2013 at the Welland Hospital, Thelma Bissell of Ridgeville in her 92nd year.
Loving mother of Bruce (Suzanne), Sheila Duliban (Jim), Tia Taylor (Richard), and Cindy Bissell. Dear grandmother to eleven and great grandmother to ten.
Thelma is survived by her sisters in law Shirley Chambers and Ruby Sebulius. She was the last remaining sibling of thirteen in the Sebulius family.
Thelma and her husband Charlie were the proud founders of Bissells Hideaway. Thelma was a lifetime member of the Fenwick Lioness. Her greatest passion was her love for music.
Predeceased by her husband Charlie, her son Terry Lee, and grandaughter Desiree.
Arrangements out of Fenwick. The Funeral Service will be held at the First Presbyterian Church North Pelham on Saturday, April 27th at 10:00 A.M. Interment in Fonthill to follow.

A good woman, a great wife, the greatest mom, passed away peacefully at the West Lincoln Memorial Hospital, Grimsby.
Predeceased by her son Larry, her parents Harold and Viola (nee Hart), step-mother Sarah and her siblings, Marjorie, John and Shirley. She leaves behind her husband of 63 years, Bernard, her children Gordon (Linda), Shirley Hewitt (Murray), and John (Debbie), her grandchildren Brian (Jenn), Robert, Michael and Chelsea, her great-grandchildren Laurie, Dylan, and Jack, also many nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.
Meyerene was the best cook, talented at arts and crafts, a Veteran of World War II and proud of it. A tough lady, but always willing to help those in need. We will miss her a lot.
The family would like to thank Dr. Cano, the staff of Wards C and B and the palliative care team at the WLMH for all their great care. Also the Rose Cottage visiting volunteers and the CCAC for their kind attentions.
Cremation has already taken place. As to her wishes, there will no service or celebration of life at this time.

Much loved husband of Yvonne (Hickey). Loving father of Michael (Mary Ann O’Brien), Robin (Kevin) Taylor and Donna (John) Kewley. Dear brother of Michael (Anita) and Joan (Terry) McMahon.
Fondly remembered by his grandchildren Erin, Kathryn, Caroline, Sarah, Lindsey, Jennifer, Kimberley, Jonathan, Tom and two great grandchildren. Ray is predeceased by his brother Edward and granddaughter Theresa.
Ray was born in Sydney, Nova Scotia, lived in Niagara Falls, Ontario, and more recently in Wasaga Beach.
A memorial service will be held in Collingwood on Friday, April 26th.

Passed away on Tuesday, April 23rd, 2013 in her 90th year (April 7th).
The Paroschys are reunited: Mother, Anna Kalmuchyn (Kalmetz) father Nick, sister Pauline (Bill) brothers Mike (Stella), Hank (Jeanne), John, Bill (sister-in-law Sophie still going strong).
Mildred (Milka, Ma) was the beloved husband of Adrien (1944-2000). Mom would love to tell the story of her brothers approving of dad. "They approved of our Dad, because he always brought good chocolates, for me, which they always took before I could." And there are more stories that cover the full spectrum of emotions.
Her smile from the picture tells it all. Her smile was for everyone.
She is survived by her sons Ron and Gerald (Louise) and her grandchildren Christine and Marc. To her many "great" and "great great" nieces and nephews she will always be remembered as Aunty Moo, as they could not pronounce her name. And let us not forget her Rummoli card playing friends who nicknamed her "Hawkeye."
To the nurses in emerg and ICU and the 4th floor at Welland Hospital, thank you. Nearly 3 months at Port Colborne General. You gave her "quality of life" in this difficult time. I cannot put into words how grateful we are for your caregiving, kindness, professionalism. I will always remember the number 103.
Arrangements out of Welland. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church on Saturday morning at 10 o’clock. Rite of Committal will follow.

WADLEY, David Bertrum -
Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather. Died peacefully on Tuesday, April, 23 2013 at the age of 85.
David was born and raised in St. Thomas, Ontario, the son of Edith and Edward Wadley (born in London, England) and brother to Ted, Jack, Gerry and Robin.
David matriculated at staff - college for the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce in Toronto and began his career as assistant manager and then bank manager in the Niagara Peninsula. At one time, he was a member of the Niagara Falls Lions Club and often spoke of the time he escorted leader of the opposition, John Diefenbaker, to a political function.
While working in Port Colborne, David met Joanna Louschall. They married in 1957 and had two children, Matthew and Lezlie. David’s work relocated the family to Belleville, Lakefield and King City. David left the bank in 1967 and became vice-president of a transportation firm until relocating back to Niagara Falls and working until his retirement for Niagara Block Co.
In 1977, Joanna passed away, and David met and married Elsie. They shared a love of gardening, curling, politics, baseball and travelling. They often fondly remembered cruises they took and had a particular love for Bermuda.
David was known for his positive outlook on life, his enjoyment for Jazz music, his wit, his love of family and his strong belief in God. He tried to see the best in everyone and was quick to strike up a conversation with friends and strangers alike. This rare and wonderful quality left a lasting impression on everyone who met him, even in his last week of life. He leaves a legacy of love, tolerance, and faith.
David is lovingly remembered by his wife, Elsie, and his brother Robin (Mary Jane) Wadley, sisters-in-law Marion, Joan, and Sue. He will be greatly missed but never forgotten by daughter Lezlie Wade (Kevin Etherington), son Matthew (Margaret) Wadley, step-sons Chuck (Lori) Shafley, Tim (Laurie) Shafley, step-daughters, Paula (Ray) Ward, Nancy (Jim) Kennedy and his many nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
A Funeral Service will be celebrated in Niagara Falls on Friday. Interment will follow.

Passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville on Monday, April 22, 2013 in her 96th year.
Judy, beloved wife of the late Ed Loberg.
Amazing mother of Norm (Carol) Loberg, Ann (Jim) Hilborn and Lynda Loberg. Proud grandmother of Bryan Loberg, Liz (Steve) Burns, Chris (Paula) Hilborn, Michael (Anissa) Hilborn and great-grandmother of Hailey, Jake, Mackenzie, Adam, Elia and Luca.
Judy was born in Vancouver BC and raised in Kamloops. She lived in Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal, Trier Germany and Ridgeway. She was a woman ahead of her time.
During her lifetime she was involved in a variety of activities; Chair of Red Feather, President of K-Ladies, first woman Chair of the Niagara Chamber of Commerce and first female Director of the Ontario Chamber of Commerce, Life Member of Zonta International, Director of the Niagara Rehab Centre and owner of The Elizabeth House of Fashion in Niagara Falls.
She was a proud recipient of the Order of Niagara from the Anglican Church. During her 59 years of marriage to Eddie, when she wasn’t travelling the world she was busy tending to her gardens.
A Celebration of Life will be held at All Saints Anglican Church, 149 South Mill Street, Ridgeway, ON on Sunday, April 28th at 2 p.m.

It is with great sadness the family of Florence Kalbfleisch announces her passing on April 21, 2013 at The Salvation Army Eventide Home.
Born in Tavistock, Ontario in 1916, Florence married Arthur A. Kalbfleisch in 1939, at which time they moved to Niagara Falls.
She is survived by her loving children Art (Sue) of Stevensville, Sandra Bunn (Al) of Lacombe, Alberta, and loving grandchildren Tammy, Stacey, Suzanne, Chris, Summer and Brittany. Also survived by 8 great grandchildren, her sister Helen Roth (Kitchener), and many nieces and nephews.
Florence enjoyed a very full and active life, spoiling her grandchildren with sweet treats at every opportunity. As well, at 86 years young, she was honoured with a plaque commemorating her 33 years with the Greater Niagara Seniors Assoc., singing and dancing with the Jay Singers, Happy Gang, and little wooden "dancing man" for many, many years. She lived life to the fullest.
Into the loving arms of her Lord. Reunited at last with her husband, Art (1981) and loving son William Douglas (1975).

Predeceased by his cherished wife Irene (2007).
Much loved father of Marie (John) Voortman and Thomas Razem. Survived by his sister Rosie (Nick) Jelusic and nephews Boris (Karen) and Rick Jelusic. He leaves behind numerous relatives in Europe.
Mirko was a member of the Slovenian Community Centre in Hamilton where he enjoyed played bocce, and enjoyed many years at Lipa Park while living in St. Catharines.
The family extends sincere thanks to Dr. Bev, the support workers and nursing care staff at St. Peter's Hospital for their extraordinary care.
A Funeral Liturgy without Mass will take place in St. Catharines on Thursday, April 25th. Rite of Committal.

Passed away peacefully at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Sunday, April 21st, 2013 at the age of 84.
Beloved wife of the late Raymond (2012). Dear mother of Patricia (Paul) Bannab, David (Sue) Wilson, Tommy (Sue) Wilson, Brian (Cathy) Wilson, Kathy (David) Emigh and Mark Wilson.
Cherished grandmother of 18 and great-grandmother 22.
Survived by her sister Betty Warden and many nieces and nephews.
Joyce was a member of Grace Gospel Church for 60 years.
Arrangements out of Niagara Falls. A service to celebrate her life will be held at Grace Gospel Church Thursday at 11 a.m. Interment will follow.

HAYTON, Ramon 'Ray' -
Suddenly passed away at Welland General Hospital, Saturday, April 20, 2013, in his 86th year.
Beloved husband of Clara Louise Hayton and loving father of Jeffrey Swener (Patricia), Charles Jordan (Sandra), Robert Brown, and Christopher Brown (Nancy). Predeceased by his son Norman Brown.
Dear brother of Dorthy Dion and John Hayton. Ray leaves behind cherished grandchildren, great-grandchildren and cousins.
Cremation has taken place. Ray’s family will receive friends at a memorial service on Six Nations Reserve on a date to yet be announced.
Ray was a friend of Bill and Dr. Bob’s for 42 years and an original member of Roger LaForme’s Fireside Circle. His enthusiasm for and fierce love of life will be greatly missed by many.
A very special thank you goes to the doctors and ICU staff at Welland General Hospital for their special care and dedication.

HENDERSON, Edward Charles Park 'Charlie' –
Passed away suddenly at home with his little friend Jordan by his side on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at the age of 61.
Beloved husband for 35 years of Sandy (nee Brkljacic). Proud and loving father of Jaime. Dear son of Isobel Henderson and son-in-law of John and Anita Brkljacic.
Sadly missed by his sisters Jane Kurchak (Dan), Karen Maddalena (Dino), Judy D’Angelo (Louie) and sister-in-law Lynn Sacco (Remo). Much loved uncle of Cory, Mathew, Sarah, Lisa, Angelo, Dino, Julia and Andrea.
Predeceased by his father Dr. E.C.P. Henderson “Ted."
Charlie was employed with the DSBN for 32 years, retiring as Head Caretaker at E.L. Crossley Secondary School.
Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held in Welland in May. Date and time to be announced.

HOLT, James Russell 'Snoofy' -
Surrounded by his family, Jim passed away at the Douglas Memorial Hospital on Saturday April 20th, 2013 at the age of 77.
Sadly missed by his partner Wanda Van Der Kraan. His loving children Doug, Brian (Donna Shipp), Sheila (Steve) Selman, Sharon (Robert) Johnston, and Denise (Brad) Bath.
He was a wonderful Papa to Sean Selman, Jason Holt, Tanya Holt, Sheena Italia, Steven Italia, Anthony Italia, Ashley Johnston and Matthew Johnston and great grandchildren Caleb, Olivia, Cameron, Adrian, Shyanne, Calum and Ayden.
Sadly missed by his siblings Stanley (Jean), Jack (Barbara), Eric (Virginia) Betty (Donny) Langille, Diane (Bob) McKenzie, Wanda and Donny. Fondly remembered by the members of the Wolbert family, his other extended family and many dear friends.
Predeceased by his daughter Suzanne and his brother Scott.
Funeral Services will be held in Fort Erie on Friday morning.
