Beloved husband of 48 years to Dorothy (Miley) O'Meara. Dearly loved father of Derek O'Meara and Ciara O'Meara and her husband Guy Marjerrison. Cherished Papa of Sloane Marjerrison. Dear brother-in-law of Ronnie, Beatrice and Veronica. Predeceased by his parents Jim and Frances and his sister Kathleen O'Meara.
A Funeral Service in celebration of his life will be held on Thursday in Niagara Falls. Cremation will follow.

Passed away at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital, on Sunday, April 14, 2013, in her 87th year.
Beloved wife of the late Ted (1995).
Loved mother of Jake Rintjema (Rita), Dorothy Glover (Art), Sylvia Rintjema (Rick), Henry Rintjema (Betty), George Rintjema (Colleen), Jimmer Rintjema (Roxzanne), Kelly Rintjema (Colleen), Peggy Murre and Patricia Stoddard (Jason). Cherished grandmother of 20 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
Anna was one of 15 brothers and sisters in her familiy. She was born in Holland in 1926 and came to Canada in 1948.
She and Ted raised their nine children in Grimsby. Anna was well known for her Sunday dinners and her knitting.
Thank you so much to the staff at Deer Park Villa Assisted Living and the nurses on B Ward at WLMH who treated Mom with such care and dignity.
Funeral Service will take place in Grimsby on Tuesday, April 16th. Interment.

Born in Niagara Falls, Ontario on August 1, 1921.
Wife of the late Arthur A. Thompson of Niagara Falls; mother to Wayne A Thompson of Sault Ste Marie; Donna Smith (Brian) of Ballentrae and Calvin Thompson (Janet) of Niagara Falls.
Survived by grandchildren Kiley and Charlotte Thompson, Michael and Matthew Smith, and Stephanie and Vanessa Thompson. Predeceased by grandchild Michael Thompson.
Survived by her sister Dorothy Valente (Tony) of Burlington. Predeceased by brothers William Blain (Naomi) and Henry Blain (Millie) and sisters Ruby Hamilton (Thomas) and Margaret Beaupit (William) all of Niagara Falls, and her parents Robina Scott and William Blain born in Scotland.
Special thanks to the nurses and doctors of the ICU Unit of the Niagara General Hospital for their care and compassion.
Family and friends will be received at HETHERINGTON & DEANS FUNERAL CHAPEL, 5176 Victoria Avenue, Niagara Falls on Wednesday from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 PM.

WARBIS, Frank Dixon -
Feb. 7, 1932 - April 14, 2013
Passed away peacefully at Westgate Lodge in his 82nd year, with his children at his side.
Beloved husband of Joan (nee Henderson) for 49 years, dear father of Kerry Norris and Kevin Warbis, and proud “Grandpa“ of Kyle, Jaimalyn, and Kendyll Norris. He was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Jenny Warbis, late of Toronto.
A dedicated music educator for over 30 years, Frank taught in high schools in Rosemere, PQ, Welland and Niagara Falls, ON. He was also the Director of Music for several community bands, including the Lincoln and Welland Regimental Band, where he held the rank of Lieutenant. He was one of the founders of The Canadian Stage Band Festival (now MusicFest Canada) and a long-time Director of the Welland-Port Colborne Concert Association.
When he retired from teaching, he picked up his clarinet and played in dixieland, jazz, and concert bands. After moving to Belleville, he was proud to play with the Dixie Dudes, the 8 Wing Concert Band, Trenton Citizens Band and Quinte Living Centre Band. An avid golfer, he enjoyed many happy days on golf courses throughout North America and he loved to travel. He lived life to the fullest and will be sadly missed.
A Memorial Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 28, 2013 from 2 - 5 p.m., at the Lions Club, 119 Station Street, Belleville. I

Selflessly and without the need for a thank you, Rose lived her life by always placing the needs of others above all else.
On April 14th she left behind her brother Joseph (Rose Marie), nephew Richard (Brenda), niece Elizabeth (Duane Hedley), great nieces Meredeth and Mckenzie and great nephew Ethan.
Her family will forever cherish their memories of her many acts of kindness and love.

Beloved wife of the late Tony Fasan (2009).
Loving mother of Paul Fasan (Tracy) and Monique Martin (LeRoy). Cherished grandmother of Kyle, Zachary, Kirsten, Jacob and Evan. Dear sister of Jacqueline, Rollande and Claudette and sister-in-law of Oallis Fasan (Marion). Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents Esperent and Geneva Dupont, infant daughter Louise and brothers Jean-Guy, Georges and Roger.
Mrs. Fasan was a faithful member of the Parish Community of St. Kevin and a former member of the C.W.L. During her working life she was a registered nurse and was also an officer in the R.C.A.F. Solange enjoyed bowling at Bowl-O-Rama lanes, was an amazing cook, was very skilled in crafts and loved to travel.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Parish Community of St. Kevin, 303 Niagara Street, Welland, on Thursday, April 18th at 10:00 a.m. Rite of Committal to follow.

Passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at the Maple Park Lodge, Fort Erie in his 80th year.
Survived by his brother John (Kuba) Koval and his wife Mary, sisters Mary Gordon and Anne Koval, nieces Sharon Gordon and Anne Marie (Gary ) LaBelle, nephews John Murray (Denise) Koval and James Jr. (Marilyn) Koval, great nieces and nephews Melanie, Heather, Michael and Conor.
Predeceased by his parents Pola and Steven Koval, brother James Koval and brother-in-law Norman Gordon.
Peter retired after 25 years service from St. Lawrence Seaway.
He also represented the City of Port Colborne in the sports of Baseball and Hockey, playing for the Port Colborne Sailors for many years; also St Catharines Junior “A” Tee Pees, and U.S. Professional Leagues. Peter enjoyed all sports as well as fishing and Hunting.
Cremation has taken place, and as per Peter’s request, there will be no visitation. A private service will be held at a later date. Arrangements out of Port Colborne.

Professionally, Gord was a staff Photographer for the Niagara Falls Review for over 30 years and personally was well known for documenting the beauty of Niagara in his photographs.

Peacefully passed away from complications of pulmonary and kidney disease on Wednesday, April 10th, 2013 after recently celebrating her 71st birthday on March 28th.
Beloved wife of Jan for over 50 years and dearly loved mother of Michael, (Helen Bagshaw), grandchildren Leonardo and Matthew, and daughter Dawn (Jim Fairman). Survived by her brother Robert Langlois (Marilyn).
Predeceased by her parents, Edgar and Rosa Langlois, brother Roland (Edith) and sister Helene (Robert Boak).

Predeceased by his parents Daniel and Galina Dobrin, his grandson Nicholas Dobrin, his sisters Rose (the late Jasper Pelino) and Victoria (the late Eli Pandrea).
Cremation is to take place. A memorial service will be held in Port Colborne on Saturday, April 20th. Private Interment of ashes at a later date.

FITZPATRICK, James -
Passed away on Wednesday, April 10th, 2013 at the St. Catharines General Hospital in his 75th year.
Beloved husband of Peggy for 49 years. Cherished father of Oliver, John (Danielle), Joseph and Orla (Jason) Newhouse. Loving Granda of James, Andrew, Ceara, Liam, Eamon, Ailish and Mairead.
James was a member of the All Ireland Gaelic Football Champions 1960 County Down. "Up Down!" He coached many kids' community soccer teams for the Irish Club. James' favourite place to socialize was the Celtic Club of St. Catharines. He will always be remembered as an avid Toronto Maple Leafs and Manchester United fan.
He was employed at Ford Motor Company of Oakville for 15 years. James was most proud of being a loving granda to all 7 of his grandchildren and a devoted husband to his loving wife Peggy.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Alfred's Church, St. Catharines on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. Cremation to follow.
Memorial donations to St. Vincent de Paul Society would be appreciated by the family.

Beloved husband of Agnes and dear father of Debra (Allan) Yungblut. Grandfather of Hope (Chas) Anselmo, and Bill (Leslee) Yungblut. Great-Grandfather of Lillian, Nyla, Emma and Willa. Brother of Harold (Beth) Hilberg.
Cremation has taken place.
A Memorial Service will be held at Trinity United Church in Beamsville on Monday, April 15th at 11:00 a.m.

LAVIGNE, Noëlla L. (nee Pouliot) -
Passed away peacefully on April 10, 2013.
Wife of the late Ronald Lavigne and loving mother of Jo-Anne Lavigne-Renaud (Robert Renaud) and of her predeceased daughters Diane and Carol.
Caring Nana to her grandchildren Athena and Kincade Kyle. Predeceased by her parents Béatrice (née Chartrand) and Henri Pouliot.
She is also survived by her sisters Éveline Dionne and Françoise (Gilles) Quevillon, brothers Claude (Jeanne) Dionne and Robert (Colette) Dionne.
Predeceased by her sister and brother-in-law Rita and Gerry Pidgeon, and brothers and sisters-in-law Jean and Évangéline Pouliot, Daniel and Jackie Pouliot, and brother Jean-Paul Dionne (Françoise).
She also leaves behind several beloved nieces and nephews.
Noëlla was a cordon bleu in the kitchen, and family and friends still have lasting memories of the feasts she prepared. She was a very talented seamstress and excelled at decorating. As well, many still have the precious quilts, afghans, and petit-point needlework that she generously shared.
The family would like to thank the emergency and medical staff on 5B and 3B who kept Nöella comfortable throughout her hospital stay.
Cremation has already taken place. Arrangements out of St. Catharines. Funeral mass will be held at l’Immaculée Conception on Saturday, April 20 at 11 am.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Cystic Fibrosis Canada, the Canadian Heart and Stroke Society, or the Mount Carmel Retirement Residence.

Passed away at the Greater Niagara General on Wednesday, April 10th, 2013 with her loving husband Doug at her side.
Besides her husband Doug, Silvia is survived by her loving children Jamie and Amanda, her mother Johanna Kysely, and sister Ingrid.
Memorial visitation in Niagara Falls on Sunday, April 14th. Cremation to follow.
