Nurse MargaretNURSE, Margaret Eileen (nee Lang) – (Longtime member of St. James United Church and “Life Member” of UCW) –

Passed away peacefully at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Saturday, October 7th, 2017 in her 84th year.

Margaret will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 64 years John “Jack” Nurse; her devoted children John Nurse (Deb), Dianne Nurse, the late Gary Nurse, Sheree McKenzie (Scot), Bradley Nurse (Christina Weaver) and Ellen Lewis (Paul); her adoring grandchildren Scott, Michelle, Tara, Steven, Shawn and Aidan; her cherished great-grandchildren Elizabeth, Laura, Brielle, Nala and Emerson; and her dear siblings Donald Lang (Ann), Shirley Lannen (Wayne Hope) and the late Jake Lang.

Margaret will be sadly missed by her nieces and nephews, many close friends and all who knew her.

Margaret’s family wishes to thank all of the staff on 3B at PRHC for their constant care and unwavering compassion.

In accordance with Margaret’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Family and friends will be received at St. James United Church, 221 Romaine Street, Peterborough on Thursday, October 12th from 12:30 P.M. until time of Memorial Service at 2:00 P.M. All are invited to join the family in the church hall following the service for a light luncheon.

Interment to follow at Little Lake Cemetery.

In memory of Margaret, donations to St. James United Church or PRHC Foundation- Long Term Care Unit would be greatly appreciated. Arrangements entrusted with Highland Park funeral centre.
