For years, we have posted regional death notices as a free public service, while taking on the complete cost of publishing ourselves. We can no longer do so.

Without participating Funeral Centres, Cemeteries, Monument Suppliers and Local Businesses advertising with us, we can no longer run this website at a financial deficit.

We have received dozens of emails by folks upset at the discontinuation of our daily updates, and we apologize.  We also love this site, and considered it a great service to the public by accumulating and listing all Regional Obituaries in one spot.

Also, we appreciate the privacy to not contact the families of friends for funeral arrangements who may be shortly passing, as well as, friends not having to frequently check all local funeral centre websites for service information.

Bynoe MadelineBYNOE-MACDONALD, Madeline Jean “Mad” (nee Allingham) – Passed away suddenly with family by her side at Kingston General Hospital, on Monday May 14, 2018. 

Madeline of Peterborough, formerly of Chandos Lake, Pickering and Toronto, in her 81st year.

Beloved wife and lifetime partner of Dr. Ramsay Macdonald for 44 years. 

Dear mother of Karen, Sandra (Blake), Robert Macdonald (Christine) and Andrew Macdonald (Lynda). 

Loving grandmother of Heather (Matt), Jenna (Troy), Sharon (Byron), Brock (Brooke) and Bella. 

Great grandmother of Hailey, Harper and Hudson. 

Sister of the late Eileen, Glady and Evelyn. 

Madeline will be remembered by many other relatives and friends.

A retired Veterinary Technician and Book Keeper, Madeline was an animal and bird lover. 

Always talented with arts and crafts, Madeline developed a passion for quilting later in her life.

Cremation entrusted to Ashburnham Funeral Home & Reception Centre.  A private family celebration of life will be held at a later date. 

Donations to the Salvation Army or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
