PAYNE, Ruth Mae -     

After a short illness at the Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital on Thursday, February 23rd, 2012 at the age of 82.

Ruth Payne (nee Mahler), of Orillia, beloved wife of the late Art Payne. Loving mother of Laura Brown & husband Larry of Orillia and Linda (predeceased) & husband Norman Grey of Hamilton.

Cherished grandmother of Rachel Grey of Mississauga and Paul Grey of B.C. Dear sister of Edna Cressey of St. Catharines, Freda, Erna, Dorothy, Helen, Lucille, Mildred, Harold, Bill, and Leonard all of the United States and predeceased by sister Gertrude.

Fondly remembered aunt of Penny, Sharon, Melodie and many, many more nieces and nephews. Ruth will be sadly missed by her favourite friend "Peepers". Ruth was a Retired Employee - Huronia Regional Centre, Orillia.

Cremation. As per Ruth's request there will be no visitation or funeral service.
