Beloved mother to Della Halt (Walter) of Hamilton, and Bonnie Varey (Ron McQuarrie) of Bracebridge.  Beloved grandmother to 9 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Elsie is survived by her brother Neil Gonneau and by her sister Gail Wood.  She is predeceased by her siblings Teresa, Violet, Erwin, Doran, Norval and Noreen.

The Funeral Mass will be said at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church on Wednesday, April 23rd.

Thanks to the wonderful Staff on Soldiers' One and Harvie Four Complex Continuing Care. for their patience and Kindness during mom's stay there.

Nancy Hubbert went home to her Lord. Nancy was the much loved wife of the late Dal, the devoted mother of Allan Hubbert (Susana) of Malaysia, Leslie (Ron) Jorgensen of Baxter ON, Lorraine (Dave) Chalmers of Markham, ON, and Louise (Glen) Deacey of Hinchinbrooke, Quebec.

She adored her grandchildren Christian, Ingrid, Courtney, Trevor, Graeme, Jesse, Laura and Katie and their families.

At mom's request there will be a private family remembrance following cremation.

She was very loved.

With great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved mother, M. Jean Bailey, peacefully, at Simcoe Manor, Beeton on Monday, April 14, 2014.

Jean was predeceased by her husband Stanley in 1971, and her brothers Donald, Bruce and Malcolm McNeill and sister Christina Crawford and Rena Eberle.

Jean was born on Pelee Island to the late Thomas and Mary Helena McNeill. Her three children will greatly miss their mother-the "rock" of the family; Nancy Horsburgh (late Maurice), Dan and Beverley Bailey and Rick and Jane Bailey.

Jean's cherished grandchildren are Tricia Alexander (Gary), Scott Horsburgh (Elizabeth), Corrie Millsap (David), Tina Bailey (Patricia), Angela Merrett (Adam), Mark Bailey (Arlene)and Evan Bailey (Janine). Very proud great grandma of nine great grandsons, Riley and Devin Alexander, Tate and Jack Millsap, Aiden and Ethan Merrett, Trenton Bailey, Dean and Martin Bailey, and one precious step great grand daughter, Charlotte.

Jean and Stan were tobacco pioneers, farming in the Everett area for twenty five years. Jean enjoyed spending her winters in Florida and much of her summers at her two precious islands, Benfair and Pelee. She always kept busy with many projects and service to others until her health declined.

Her past few years , as a resident of Simcoe Manor Beeton, have been faced courageously with a positive attitude and a keen sense of humour. Also left to mourn Jean are many nieces and nephews and good friends and wonderful care givers.

A Memorial Service will be held at Kingdon Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 230 Church St. S. Alliston on Saturday April 19, 2014 at 11:00 a.m.

Donations in Jean's memory to the Pelee Island Heritage Centre, Canadian Diabetes Association, The Children's Wish Foundation and Matthews House Hospice, would be appreciate by the family.

Beloved husband of Edythe (deceased 2006), father of Jim (Sandy) of Aurora and Dave (Anne) of Midland. Grandpa of Stuart (Jen), Ian (Shantel), Heather, Erin, Emily and Morgan.

Brother of the late Bill Clark of Barrie and the late Catherine Richardson of Midland and brother-in-law of Margaret Verbey of Barrie. Forever fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews and by Kim. He was very fortunate to enjoy the companionship of Jean Dumais for the past few years.

A proud Railroader with Canadian Pacific Rail and lifetime resident of Midland, he contributed freely of his time and energy to make his community a better place for all. Honourary Lifetime Member of the Midland Curling Club, member of the Midland Legion, the Georgian Bay Hunters and Anglers, Probus and member of the Huronia Harmonizers Barbershop Chorus.

He loved the family cottage at Cognashene Lake on Georgian Bay and still continued to navigate Clark's Ark through the narrows to welcome family and friends.

We will forever miss his call of "Cheers" at happy hour.

Service at St. Paul's United Church, 308 King Street, Midland, on Monday, April 21st at 1:00 p.m.

Born in Ottawa in 1925, Helen moved with her family to Orillia in 1960. Helen is predeceased by her husband Donald F. Kent (2008) and daughter Janice Kolyvas (1988) (Manny).

She is survived by her son Scott, daughter Kathy Uren (Tim), grandsons Petros Kolyvas (Vanessa), Andreas Kolyvas (Aude), Darren Uren (Melissa), her brother Hugh and her life-long friend Leila McNeill of Ottawa.

It is with extreme sadness that the family of Vinko Jankovich, 75 announces his passing on April 13, 2014.

Beloved husband of Ljudmila Jankovich, inspirational father of four children Roman, Helen, Rudy, Igor and ten beautiful grand children.

Vinko was born in Brezice, Slovenia and immigrated to Hamilton Canada when he was 18 old where he eventually resided as a butcher in Alliston for the remainder of his life.

He was admired in the community and eventually founded the Alliston Arsenal soccer club and was the president of Slovenian Hunters & Anglers club for many years. He will be missed by many dear friends and family and his big personality and smile will never be forgotten.

We invite you all to celebrate Vinko's life in Alliston on Friday, April 18th. The Funeral will be held at Our Lady of Miraculous Medal Catholic Church -739 Browns Line, Etobicoke on Monday April 21, 11a.m.

Susan Kelly, beloved wife of John Kelly and the late Harvey Anderson. Loving mother of Karen Campbell (Raymond Sullivan) of Ottawa.

Devoted Nokomis of Emily and Kent Sullivan. Dear sister of Judy (Ken) Taylor of Burlington and Jim Campbell of Hamilton and loved by her family in Coral Harbour, Nunavut especially Annie Eetuk, Peter (Margaret) Nakoolak and Thomasie Nakoolak and their families.

Susan was a Community Elder; Elder/Advisor with the National Parole Board, Canadian Armed Forces Base Borden and Georgian College.

The Funeral Service will be held at the Rama Community Hall, on Thursday, April 17th at 11 am. Interment in, Rama.

If desired, memorial donations to the Enaahtig Healing Lodge & Learning Centre or the Lung Association would be appreciated.

Meinema_AnnaWent home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Sunday, April 13th, 2014 at the age of 95.

She was predeceased by her husband Lieuwe Meinema, her three siblings Cornelus Gutter, Johannes Guetter, Maartje Keizer and her son-in-law Gerke Gerkema.

She is survived by her children Hette and Sally (Westerman) Meinema, Margaret Gerkema, Nellie and Harold Westerman and Lucy and Wayne Gort; 12 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

She was a strong woman who lived through many hardships and trials, yet she never lost her faith in God or questioned his sovereignty. She embraced life, loved her family deeply, loved to sing the great hymns of the faith, had a wonderful sense of humour and gave herself and her limited resources generously with those in need.

The service will be held at Covenant Christian Reformed Church on Thursday, Aptil 17th at 11:00 a.m. Private burial.

As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or to the charity of your choice.
