Passed peacefully away in her 95th year, on Friday April 6th, 2012 at the Collingwood General & Marine Hospital.
Eunice, dearly beloved mother of Edward and his wife Sharon O'Gorman of Shelburne, Florence & her husband Brian Kirkwood, of Wasaga Beach and Walter and his wife Diane O'Gorman of Collingwood.
Loving Grandmother to Timothy and his wife Tammy O'Gorman of Collingwood, Shelly and her Husband Brad Hockley of Wasaga Beach, Sherry O'Gorman and partner Tim Pate of Shelburne and Clinton and his wife Heidi O'Gorman of Toront.
Eunice dearly loved her great-grandchildren, Zachary, Emma, Cody, Russell and Ellen O'Gorman and Logan and Oakley Hockely.
Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held on Saturday April 14th, 2012, 2:00 pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 41 Concession 6, Collingwood.
The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to Dr. Anthony Rowlinson and the nursing staff at CG&M Hospital for the tender care administered to Eunice during her last week in the hosptial. A further sincere thank you to all the staff, RN's, RPN's and Personal Care Workers at the Bay Haven Nursing Home, who treated Eunice with respect, compassion and care during the twenty months she called Bay Haven her home.

On a perfect spring day at her farm, after a spirited battle that showed us what courage and determination really is, we mourn the loss of our most beautiful Sharon.
Sharon’s greatest joys in life were her two boys, Chad (Jennifer Cole) and Blair Pallopson (Tanya), for whom she was the most amazing mother anyone could have. She was a very loving Nana to Charlie, Sophie, and Henry Pallopson. Her motherly love was warmly extended to Jessica McConnel l (Toby) and Ryan Cipolla (Jennie) and to their children Liam, Ella, and Leo McConnell and Luke and Lilly CIpolla.
Sharon is deeply mourned by Dr. Priit Pallopson with whom she led a beautiful family life and by Mr. Craig Evans with whom she shared a life of great adventure.
Sharon was born in London, Ontario, the daughter of the late Jean and Clark Daly and sister of Daphne. She was the beloved big sister to Jan Mollenhauer (John) Lovingly remembered by the Eistrat, Evans, Smale and Mollenhauer families. Dearest friend and companion to Nana, the late Olga Runk.
Sharon led a life of great accomplishments and talents, among them nurse, antique dealer, educator, entrepreneur, horse breeder, athlete and world traveller. However her greatest mark was as a true and beautiful friend to countless people, drawn to her by her pure kindness and always welcome smile.
The family would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation for the wonderful care Sharon received from so many loving friends, caregivers and in particular to Dr. Kathleen Michalski and the staff at RVH.
In keeping with Sharon’s love of animals and her generous nature, donations in her honour may be made to either of the Orillia OSPA or The Sharing Place.
A celebration of Sharon‘s life will be held on Saturday, April 14th, in Orillia.

WEILAND, Verlin Eugene 'Vern' - Retired RCASC Chief Warrant Officer “NIL SINE LABORE“
Vern passed away very suddenly on Friday, April 6th, 2012 at the RVH in Barrie with his family beside him at the age of 78.
Vern was born in Medicine Hat, Alberta on June 18, 1933, the first born son of John and Olga Weiland. Vern was raised in Alberta until the age of 17, attending schools in Black Diamond, Wetaskiwin and Calgary.
He joined the Canadian Army on January 14, 1952 and later the same year was deployed and served in the Korean War. Vern spent 28 years in the Canadian Forces, serving in locations such as Lahr, Germany; London, England; Gagetown, New Brunswick and CFB Borden in Ontario. While serving in Base Borden Vern met and married Marg Ellis of Utopia in 1959 - they lovingly celebrated 53 wedding anniversaries.
He was a loving father to Steve (Lisa), Sandra and Susan (Don) and had five cherished grandchildren, Danielle, Samantha, Courtney, Mitchell and Taylor. He is also survived by his sister Barbara Tautfest and brother John (Heather) both of Calgary.
Vern retired from the military in 1979 and bought a home in Angus (as close as possible to his beloved Circled Pine Golf Club). He spent the next 15 years working at the Ammunition Depot in Angus and retired from this career in 1995.
He cherished the friendships made over the years at Circled Pine Golf Club and the golfing winters in Florida. The loss of his sharp sense of humour is going to leave a very large void in our lives.
A service celebrating Vern's life will be held in Barrie on Saturday, April 14th.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather on Tuesday, April 3, 2012, in his 80th year at home in the care of his family.
Beloved husband of Joyce Morrison for 48 years, loving father of Jackie Clemens and her husband Gord of Cambridge, Theresa Tennant-Bucht and her husband Robert of Wyevale, Carol Walter and her husband John of Midland.
Dearly missed by his grandchildren Janet (Aaron), Jennifer (Andy), Ashley (Sean), Becky (Charlie), Natalie, Eric, Jimmy and Jake as well as his great grandchildren Kelsey, Samantha, Jordon, Cameron, Mikayla, Braydon, Matthew and Gracie. He joins his baby sister Kathleen and his brother Stewart (April 15, 2011) and will be missed by his sister Audrey Beckman (Don) and sister-in-law Shirley.
Jim was born April 19, 1932 in Beverly Township, Puslinch to the late Millie and John Tennant. He worked as a metal fabricator at Sheldon's Engineering, Galt and was a licensed mechanic at High Park Texaco, Galt. He then ventured into his own business as an Auto Body mechanic, owningTennant Auto Body until 1974.
Always loving Georgian Bay where the family cottaged for years, Jim relocated his family to the area. He started a construction business that eventually led to his career at Tim Horton's as a construction supervisor and a franchise owner in the Midland area.
The service will take place in Midland on Tuesday, April 10th.
Donations to the Tim Horton's Children Foundation would be greatly appreciated as it was a charity very dear to Jim .

After an aggressive fight against insurmountable odds, Stephen Johnson lost his fight against Amyloidosis on Monday April 2, 2012 with his family by his side.
His heart and kidneys had simply been damaged too badly - and were not as strong as his will. He was the brilliant husband and best friend of Alisha (nee. Henrich) and loving father of Grace.
Stephen will be forever remembered by his parents Tim & Mary Johnson, his brothers David, Michael (Sheri) and Andrew (Stacey) and his sister Elizabeth; his father and mother in law Gill & Coby Henrich, sister in law Katie, aunts, uncles, cousins and his niece and nephew.
Throughout his life Stephen developed an amazing network of friends and colleagues and he will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.
Funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. on Saturday April 7, 2012 at Trinity United Church, 140 Maple St. Collingwood.

After receiving a PhD in Chemistry from The University of Manchester in England, David came to Sarnia where he enjoyed a long career in the Research Department of Imperial Oil with many friends and colleagues.

Beloved son of Sally Duquette (Gravel) and the late Fortunat Gravel. Dear brother of Bob Gravel (Jennifer), Ron Gravel, Dennis Gravel (Tricia), Guy Gravel (Denise), Alice Gravel-Carson (the late Danny) and Patricia Pellerine (Patrick).
He will be fondly remembered by his nephews Ivan, Anders, Tyler, Bryce; his nieces Michelle, Renee, Autumn; and his many friends.
Dan lived for many years in Penetanguishene, and for the last 10 years was employed as a civilian with the Moosonee detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held in Penetanguishene on Thursday, April 12th. Interment later in Penetanguishene.

Vera Haynes died peacefully on Sunday, April 1st, 2012 at the age of 88 years.
Vera was a spunky Brit who survived the Great Depression and the London Blitz, arriving in Canada in 1946 as a War Bride on the arm of a Canadian Soldier, Alfred Charles Haynes (1919-1991).
Loved by her two daughters, Barbara and Donna, and their families. Vera is once again with her beloved Alf. Survived by her sister, Rosemary Cale. Predeceased by one brother and two sisters.
At Vera's request, there will be no service. Cremation has taken place.
