He will be missed by his daughter by choice, Claudia Diebel; sister-in-law, Pat Begg and son, Andrew Begg and family; and stepson, Brian Artin and his many friends all over the world.

Loving husband to Theresa, whom he married in 1954 until her passing in 2007.

Sadly passed away on April 18th, 2024, after a lengthy stay in hospital.
At the time of her death, Helen Doan Sr. was 112 years and seven months old and had been validated as the oldest living person in Canada.
Helen Doan Sr. was born September 18th, 1911, in Temiskaming Mine in Northern Ontario.

MILLER, Marlene (nee FINE) - Mother to Denise Belman, Noah Belman and the late Erin Belman, and wife of the late Irving Miller, passed away on Monday, April 22, 2024 after a short illness.
Her final moments were spent peacefully surrounded by her children and grandchildren.

Diana was a dedicated teacher/librarian for many years in the Etobicoke secondary school system, where she shared her love of books and created a warm and inviting space for students to learn.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 41 years, Brian Bonner.

CREAN, Peter Aidan Crean and Dorothy Pierce Crean - Died within hours of each other in Rochester, NY, December 23, 2023, both of natural causes.
They were both 81 years old. Born in Toronto, October 26, 1942 to Aidan and Patricia, Peter attended Blessed Sacrament (CYO Hockey), St. Michael's College School, and the University of Toronto (Math/Physics).
He earned a Ph.D. (Physics) from Princeton University, where he met his wife, Dorothy, at a dance.

MacISAAC, Frank Ronald - Sydney, Nova Scotia Frank Ronald MacIsaac of Christopher Crescent, Sydney, passed away in the early hours of April 20, 2024.
Born in Big Pond, he was a son of the late Ronald and Cecilia (MacKinnon) MacIsaac.
Frank is survived by his loving wife, Ruth (MacLeod); sons, Neil (Michelle), Oakville, ON, and Alan (Simone), Toronto, ON; grandchildren, Nicole and Aaron; sisters, Mary, Ben Eoin and Theresa, Cambridge, ON; brothers-in-law, Ken and Tim; and nine nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brother, Jack and sister-in-law, Violet.

BELFRAGE, Dr. James Edward - Clinical Psychologist Sailor 'Fair Sailing' was his byline. James Edward Belfrage, proud Dad, husband, psychologist, and sailor, finished his last race on April 15, 2024.
Born in 1946 in San Francisco, James immigrated to Canada, earning a PhD in Clinical Psychology (York).
He was focused in healthcare and education and took pride in supporting others.
An accomplished natural athlete, he was a lifelong member of the Toronto sailing community and a great grand master of the laser racing fleet.

BASMAJIAN, Shakeh Basmajian - Sadly passed away on April 13, 2024 after a lengthy stay in hospital.
Born in Beirut, Lebanon, on June 2, 1931, she was a child of first-generation survivors of the Armenian Genocide of 1915.
Immigrating with her family to Toronto in 1958, they joined the small growing Armenian community and became influential members.
She was also a proud Canadian and loved her adopted country.
