COMPAGNONE, Dora Mary (nee Campagna) - Born July 22, 1938. On May 31st, 2021, Dora passed away peacefully at home, at the age of 82 after a third fight with cancer.
Dora was born in Schreiber, Ontario. She is predeceased by her loving husband Antonio Compagnone of 52 years. She was an inspiration to all who knew her and loved making delicious food for her children and grandchildren.
Dora will be greatly missed by her sons, Alexander and Aldo Compagnone, her daughters in-law, Julie Ann and Donna, her brothers Dino (Helen) and Peter (Natalie).

CARROLL, Marion Jean - A most loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, passed away peacefully at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto on Monday, May 31, 2021, at the age of 88.
She is survived by her seven children: Debra, Janet, Nancy (Steven), Elizabeth (Donald), Heather, Jeffrey (Angela) and Andrea (Alan); 16 grandchildren: James, Allison, Elyssa, Vanessa, Matthew, Leah, Emma, Hannah, Joshua, Theo, Ryan, Andrew, Gregory, Nicole, Erica and Johnny; two great-grandchildren Bodhi and Ari; sister-in-law Jean and many nieces and nephews.

ROMANELLI, Maria Louisa - It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Maria Luisa, also known as Luisa, on May 31, 2021 at the age of 58.
She is now reunited in heaven with her father Valentino and mother Lina.

ASHBEE, Donna L. (nee DIXON) - Age 82 on May 31, 2021, of Maris Grove, formerly of Newtown Square, PA, beloved wife of the late Wm. Barry Ashbee.
She spent much of her early life supporting Barry's hockey career with the Hershey Bears and the Philadelphia Flyers.
Prior to retirement she was employed at the law firm of Riley Riper Hollin and Colagreco.
She also was a longtime volunteer at Riddle Memorial Hospital and the Flyers' Wives Fight for Lives Charity.
As a supportive Nana and avid sports fan, Donna could always be found on the sidelines or in the stands at her grandchildren's many sporting events.

DONOHUE, John Joseph “Jack” – Croaked (his word) on May 31, 2021.
Brother to William, Elizabeth, Helen, Irene, Patrick, Joseph, Mary Eileen and Colleen.
In Sarnia and Toronto, John’s life was one of serving others.
Upon completing his degree at Western University, he was drawn to religious life and ordained a priest.
After a decade of tending his flock, he officially made a run for it and knocked on the doors of McGill University Law School, who let him in as a mature student.

PUDSEY, Douglas George Pudsey (Doug) - Of Burlington, Ontario, passed away quietly in his sleep the morning of May 31, 2021, at the Joseph Brant Hospital.
Doug was 87 years of age and he and his wife Elizabeth (Liz) would have celebrated 65 years of marriage on June 23, 2021.
Together, they raised four sons – David (Jackie), Bruce (Grace), Stephen (Heather), Kevin (CJ) and lived in Toronto, Brampton, Sept-Iles, QC, before making their home in Burlington for the past 51 years.
Doug will be greatly missed by his 13 grandchildren, (Jennifer, Katharine, Bryan, Alison, Cameron, Jared, James, Zachary, Lucas, William, Damian, Cole and Brea), and his 7 great-grandchildren (Olivia, Brooklyn, Isabelle, Reid, Celeste, Sofia and Hunter).

DOWNEY, Randolph Elliot - It is with heartfelt loss that we announce the passing of Randolph, better known as "Bo Diddley" age 65, born in Halifax, Nova Scotia on July 26, 1955.
Bo Diddley passed away on May 31, 2021 from a heart attack.
He spent the first seventeen years of his life in North Preston and Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Bo Diddley moved to Toronto with his aunt Quincie and her family in 1972 to be closer to his mother.

TINTOR, George - (1957 -2021) - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of George Tintor at 64 years of age on May 30, 2021.
George was born in Toronto on May 6, 1957 into a hardworking and loving Serbian immigrant family who instilled in him the fundamental values which influenced his life. Values and lessons of hard work, honesty, ruthless integrity and an ability to face adversity and challenges with calm, stoic bravery.
He took those lessons to heart, striving for achievement in both his professional and personal life. George completed his undergraduate degree in Finance at the University of Pennsylvania and his MBA at Columbia University in New York. Whilst at Penn, he was a member of the Penn men’s rowing team who dominated the Ivy League under the leadership of legendary Penn coach Ted Nash in the late 1970s.

STRANGES, Giulietta (Julie) Rosa - Giulietta ("Julie") Rosa Stranges, at the age of 98, peacefully, at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital, in Grimsby, after a long illness.
Giulietta was the youngest child of the late Rocco and Maria Stranges.
All her siblings are deceased: beloved sister of Maddalena (George) Shuker and Pasqualino (Blanche) Strange; half-sister of Benoit Strange (with whom she grew up) and of Giuseppe and Antonio Esposito, of Italy.
She leaves behind her grieving niece and goddaughter, Gloria (Robert) Clothier, as well as her other godchild (and grandnephew), Stephen Clothier, all of Grimsby.
Dear aunt of Judy Bandak, of Sarnia; grandaunt of Sherry Payne and Brenda Robinson, both of Sarnia, and Christopher Bandak, of Kleinburg. In addition to many great-grandnephews and nieces (notably, Madeline and George Bandak), she had numerous cousins in Ontario, Italy, and Australia.
