JAKOB, Fyodor 'Fred' - It is with great sadness that the family of Fyodor “Fred” Jakob announces his untimely passing on Tuesday, April 13, 2021, at the age of 67.
Fred was born on May 8, 1953 to Zoltan Jakob and Leah Sheinis in Mukachevo, Ukraine. After moving to Israel in 1978, he met the love of his life Lora and they married on March 27, 1980. In 1984, Fred and Lora, along with their new born son Eitan moved to Toronto and later, in 1988, they welcomed the birth of their daughter Leora.
Fred was a goldsmith by profession and sculpted beautiful jewellery by hand. He had a passion for his work and producing one of a kind pieces for his clients and family.

Beloved husband to Irene Ford for over 30 years of marriage.
Loving father of John (Kim), Kim (John), James and stepfather to Greg and David Osborne. Remembered by his grandchildren Stephanie, Cassandra, Samantha as well as his great-grandchildren.
Wayne was a hardworking and dedicated person. He was a proud veteran and member of Royal Canadian Legion branch 286 where he was the sergeant of arms. He could often be found at Legion parties dancing up a storm with his beloved Irene.

MASLEJ, Emil - Born March 10, 1932 in a Lemko village Berest, Poland. On April 13, 2021, Emil peacefully passed away at the age of 89.
He will be deeply missed by his son Stefan, daughters Nina (Zenon Drozd) and Marysia (Joe Smolic), and fondly remembered by the grandchildren he cared deeply about: Nestor, Luba and Leo.
As was the case with many in his generation, Emil ran into many challenges along his life: living in Eastern Europe during the Second World War, being ethnically resettled during Akcja Wisla, being forced to serve in the Polish army in the early 1950s and living as a Ukrainian in Communist Poland.

On the morning of Tuesday, April 13, 2021, Cathy peacefully slipped away after a brief illness.
She is survived by her sister Joan of Ladysmith, BC and her brother Robbie of Madoc, Ontario. She was predeceased by her siblings Raymond, Gary, Wendy, and Marty, and her parents Hazel and Graham.
Cathy grew up in Chesterville and Winchester in Eastern Ontario, and lived most of her adult life in Toronto and Scarborough.

NACCARATO, Vincenzo (Vince) - After a daunting fight against COVID-19, the family of Vincenzo (Vince) Naccarato announces his passing on April 13, 2021, in the Intensive Care Unit of Markham Stouffville Hospital.
His death from the virus follows far too many individuals, a collective and tragic experience rendering far too many unable to spend their last moments with a loved one by their side.
Vince is survived by his loving and devoted girlfriend, Lesley Proctor, his forever adored children: Christian, Olivia Nicole and Isabella Julia.
Vince was born in Toronto, Ontario on October 13, 1964, to Guido Naccarato (d.2019) and Emma Maria (Presta).

TOMCHAK, Ted J. - 1936 - 2021 It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our beloved Ted Tomchak, as a result of a fall, on April 13, 2021.
Ted was born in Mariampol, Poland and at the commencement of World War II was taken away to Russia with his family.
Fortunately they were released in 1942 and took a circuitous route to India where he had a most enjoyable life.
Ted was predeceased by his father who was killed in Normandy in 1944, his mother, Jozefa, who died in 1979 and his brother, Henry, in 1981.
The family moved to Sault Ste. Marie which became Ted's home town.
Ted was a great athlete and excelled in basketball, where it was said that he was the best basketball player ever to come from the Soo!

Devoted younger brother of Bobsie and Susan Ebbs. John attended Blythwood Public School, Upper Canada College and University of Toronto's Faculty of Forestry.
