PALLADINO, Pina - Was unexpectedly called home by God on September 20, 2021 at the age of 55.
Her greatest joy in life was being the most amazing mother to her only son, Amedeo. It was her true calling.
Pina had a passion for fashion and was always the best dressed person in the room.
When telling her infamous stories, Pina was meticulous and never missed a single detail.

FISCHER, Beatrice (Shapiro) - 1919 - 2021 - Just shy of her 102nd birthday she died September 20, 2021, peacefully and in her beloved home.
She was a "force of nature and brought new meaning to the cliche 'a life well lived' by actually living it" as her nephew, Danny, said.
Wife of the late Dr. Martin A. Fischer, daughter of Julius and Fanny Shapiro, loving sister of the late Marion Shapiro, Francine Ellman of Florida, Ruth Singer of New York and Jack Shapiro of Regina and Toronto.

MacLEAN, Sister Mary Carmen, CSJ, (formerly Anne Winifred MacLean) -
Died peacefully at the Sisters of St. Joseph Residence, 2 O'Connor Drive, Toronto, Ontario, on Monday, September 20, 2021, in the 61st year of her religious life.
She was predeceased by her parents, Stephan MacLean and Mary Anne (nee MacLean) MacLean and her siblings: Cyril, Joseph, Elmer, Harris and Bernie MacLean.
She will be sadly missed by her sisters Marion Maltby and Marina Trutwin, many nieces and nephews, friends, Chaplains, and Sisters in community.
Sister Mary Carmen was one of eight children born to Stephan and Mary Anne MacLean, on a farm in Barra Head, Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia.
She was very proud of her Scottish Canadian heritage and its music.

McCOMB, Sarah Catherine (nee Superville) - Sarah Catherine (nee Superville), passed away peacefully on September 19, 2021 at Bridgepoint Palliative Care Centre, after a long courageous journey dealing with metastatic breast cancer.
She was 51 years old.
A devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, teacher and friend.
Sarah will be loved forever by her husband of 26 years, Wes and their children; Aidan (Maggy), Nicholas, Peter & Katherine; her parents Errol and Patricia Superville; her sister Ciara (Andrew); her brother John (Teresa); her nieces and nephews who adored their Auntie Sarah and her many dear friends. She was predeceased by her brother Christopher.

BROWN, Elizabeth Mary 'Betty' - It's with great sadness the family of Elizabeth (Betty) Brown announces her passing after a valiant fight at the Michael Garron Hospital in East York, ON. on September 19, 2021.
Betty was a force to be reckoned with and a joy to all who knew her. Her family, (especially her nieces and nephews), were her world.
Betty was born and raised in Toronto and was a diehard Torontonian. She attended Earl Grey Elementary school then Eastern Commerce school. Work experience included Bell, CBC and Denlow school. The work at Denlow school brought her tremendous joy and she had such a special way with all the children in her life.

MURRAY, Mary Teresa (nee Enright) - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Murray (nee Enright) at her Bramalea Retirement Residence on Sunday September 19th, 2021.
Mary passed peacefully surrounded by family, in the arms of her daughter Lynne. She was sustained by her deep Catholic faith providing heaven with a new angel.
Predeceased by her loving husband Lloyd and her 10 brothers and sisters, most recently by her beloved sister Bernadette, Mary was the last of her siblings.

MELE, Giuseppe - Passed away peacefully in Woodbridge on September 19, 2021, at the age of 92.
Giuseppe was born in Salerno, Italy and married his childhood sweetheart Caterina Messina in 1959. Shortly after their marriage along with his sister Rita and their cousin Olga he moved to Canada and once he was settled Caterina arrived.
Giuseppe was orphaned at 15 and he and his younger sister Rita went to live with their aunt and uncle. He was a promising high school student and sadly WWII interrupted his education. His family owned a large bakery and Giuseppe left school and learned the art of baking.

MacLENNAN, Elva Jean (nee LEMON) - Our family is saddened to announce the death of Grandma MacLennan, on September 19, 2021, but we can rejoice in the memory of the 97 years in which she brought happiness and kindness to all whom she met.
We remember her gracious hospitality, awesome chocolate chip cookies, knitted sweaters and her devotion to others.
We had the good fortune to gather four generations at the lake in August to celebrate all that Jean meant to our family and all that family meant to Jean.

With heavy hearts and much sadness, we surrounded John with our family love as he slipped away, at the age of 82, on Sunday, September 19, 2021.
John was a devoted husband to Heather Angus (predeceased 1996), and present wife, best friend and confidante, Shannon Saigeon (nee Piller) married 2001.
John is the proud dad of Robert Woolfrey (Tanya), David Woolfrey and proud stepdad of Tara MacDonald-Lahey (nee Saigeon) (Jonathan) and Sean Saigeon (Heather Reilly).

MORGAN, Gwyn Wellstead - Died on September 19, 2021, very peacefully, together with loved ones and music.
Gwyn was born in May 1940, the first child on his family’s dairy farm in the small village of Resolven, South Wales.
He had memories, as a very young child, of hiding in the dark under the kitchen table with his mother during the rare bombing raids reaching Wales in WWII, and later being part of VE day celebrations on his street in 1945.
He was the eldest of five children, and grew up simultaneously helping on the farm (Pentwyn) and going to school.

BIGALL, Fritz Ernst - (1928 - 2021) - Fritz passed away peacefully in his sleep in the early morning, on Sunday, September 19, 2021 with one of his loving daughters by his side and the loving thoughts and prayers of his whole family.
Predeceased by his loving wife Mary in July 2019, we are thankful that they shall now be together again.

BOUKARAS, Katherine - Was born on January 31, 1955 and passed away peacefully on September 19, 2021.
Anyone who knew her knows what a vibrant beautiful soul she was.
Katherine had wit and a heart of gold. She was a fighter throughout her life.
