JEFFRIES, Linda Louise Jeffries - Born on February 14, 1944 to Alexander and Myrtle Johnston of New Liskeard, Ontario.
Passed on August 20, 2021.
Eldest sister to Alice, Margaret, Elizabeth and Jennifer, Linda loved playing outdoors with her siblings.
She spent much of her formative years in Australia and then her family moved to London, Ontario. Here she met her soulmate, Allen Stuart Jeffries.
They wed on February 11, 1966 and together they raised Craig, Cathy and Cheryl, as well as many furry companions.
The Jeffries family travelled through the United States and Canada camping and exploring many of the state and provincial parks.

Cherished grandmother of Joshua Lemay (Jennifer), Austin Blackman, Jackson Blackman and great-grandmother of Luke Lemay, and Jett Lemay.

McLAUCHLAN, Alexandra 'Sandy' Margaret - As she lived her life, Sandy, as she was affectionately known to family and friends, in her own way and in her own time quietly and peacefully left us on the evening of Friday, August 20 2021.
She was born and spent her early childhood in Paisley, Scotland, before landing in Canada aged eight and growing up in Toronto into the vibrant, gracious and elegant woman she became.
Starting her education at Danesbury Public School in North York, then graduating from Bathurst Heights Collegiate, she went on to earn her teaching degree and spent her entire career in Toronto with the Toronto District School Board.

BANTOCK, Dorothea E. - April 28, 1923 - August 20, 2021
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother and grandmother, Dorothea Bantock on Friday, August 20, 2021, at the age of 98 at Carpenter Hospice in Burlington.
Dorothea was predeceased by husband Stewart Hansen (1943) and by husband Peter Norman Bantock (2008).
She is survived by her sister, Doris Mills.
She was a loving mother to Nora Hansen (Warren Rice), Peter Bantock, Marion Bantock (Steve Griffin), and Robert Bantock (Anne Nedd). She was an adored grandmother of Spencer, Katelyn (Kruze), and Danielle (Nick).
Dorothea will be greatly missed by many nieces and nephews.

STEIN, Stanley Bernard - Passed away on August 20, 2021 with his wife and children by his side.
He is survived by his wife Marlene, daughter Laura and son-in-law Emmanuel, son Richard and daughter-in-law Adrienne, sister Joanne and brother-in-law Garry, and his adoring grandchildren Lilah, Nora and Nathaniel.
Stanley was known to his friends and family by many names: Stan, SB, Dad, and most importantly, Grampy.
Each of those names reflected a different part of his life and personality.
Born in Toronto to Nathan and Clara Stein, Stan studied at the University of Toronto and Yale before becoming a lawyer.

BUCK, Frank Lawrence 'Larry' - Larry Buck, 65, passed on Thursday August 19th, 2021 at Humber River Hospital in Toronto.
He was the beloved son to the late Carlyne and Victor Buck, and the mischievous younger brother to Jerry Buck and Dot Lavoie.
He leaves behind two daughters, three grandsons, one lovable cat, and an immeasurable amount of friends.

DORMADY, Valerie Mavis (Bayliss) - Valerie Mavis Dormady (Bayliss) earned her wings Thursday, August 19th, 2021, 9 days before her 84th birthday.
Val was born in England and emigrated to Canada with her mother, father, and sister when she was just a young girl. She quickly acclimated to her new country and carefully maintained a balance of strong Canadian Pride with a healthy nod to her British ancestry.
Val was a kind, lovely soul who enjoyed a good chat with family, friends and even strangers, and always cherished weekly calls with her loved ones. She loved her plants and flowers, Cadbury chocolate, greeting cards, and never missed an episode of Coronation Street.

ZYBLOCK, Dianne Eleanor - (1944 - 2021) - Peacefully on August 19, 2021. Dianne Eleanor Zyblock (nee Walterson) quietly slipped into the presence of her Lord and Saviour after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Dianne was predeceased by her husband Bill Zyblock, her father Ralph Walterson, and her mother Minnie Walterson.
Left to cherish her memory is her son Myles, his wife Kelly, and Dianne’s only grandchild William Zyblock; her sister Christine (Kenny) Pollock, nephew Kerry Pollock, great niece Cara, and great nephews Kort and Kaven Pollock.

PEDEN, James 'Jim' David - James (Jim) David Peden, 92, formerly of Richmond Hill, recently residing at the Amica in Newmarket, Ontario, passed away with his daughter by his side amidst the loving thoughts and embrace of his family, on August 19, 2021.
Jim was born on June 18, 1929 in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba, to John and Mary Ann (McConochie) Peden. On June 28, 1952, he married his beautiful and loving wife, Patsy (Coleman) Peden.
Jim was employed by Ontario Hydro, now known as Ontario Power Generation, working in the geophysical engineering department for just a little less than 40 years. Always dedicated and hardworking, he enjoyed working both out in the field and at the office in downtown Toronto making many friends along the way.

MELE, Bridget Josephine (nee Maxwell) - Bridget Josephine Mele (nee Maxwell) died peacefully Thursday, August 19, 2021 at the age of 97.
Predeceased by her husband Rocco Mele, loving mother of Marie LeFrancois (Jay) and Michael Mele, grandmother of Maxwell and Marcus LeFrancois, sister of Philomena Smyth and Paul Maxwell. Sister-in-law of Joseph and Cathy Mele.
Bridget, Josie or Jo was born March 4, 1924 in Whitehall, Ireland, the oldest of eight, moved to Canada in the late 1950s with her only sister. Bridget was a registered nurse, spent her career working in various hospitals and nursing homes.

GARVIE, Judith Allan - May 11, 1931 - August 19, 2021
After a valiant effort, Judy's journey ended in hospice on August 19, 2021.
Always the rock of our family, Judy will be lovingly remembered forever by her five children, Leigh (Grant), Neil, Scott (Louise), Devon (Roger) and Susan and by her sister Sue Newell (Rob) and by her ten grandchildren. Judy was predeceased by her husband Wilbur Garvie.
Judy was a devoted and nurturing mother and "Nana" and was passionate about trumpeting the achievements of her fantastic grandchildren.
Judy's loving and kind disposition, quick wit and positive impact on her family and myriad of friends will not be soon forgotten.

HASLAM, Hilda - Born September 23, 1929, Winnipeg, Manitoba, passed away peacefully on August 19, 2021 with the compassionate assistance of staff at Sunnybrook Hospital, Toronto.
Survived by her sisters Margaret McLean of Toronto and Joan Gray of Vancouver.
After a successful career in the insurance industry, Hilda volunteered for various organizations well into her 80s.
Hilda was an informed and passionate Blue Jays fan.
Hilda will be dearly missed by her sisters, her nephews and nieces, her many grand and great-grandnephews and nieces, as well as her dear friends Pat, Gloria and Cecilia.
Also a special thanks to the staff at Millwood Retirement Residence.

Ken worked for Ontario Hydro for 42 years, and after his retirement he enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren and caring for his wife, Dolores.

Bill is survived by his beloved wife Doreen (Nuttall) Fekete and they celebrated their 67th Wedding Anniversary together this year!
Bill was a wonderful, loving, caring father to his son Jim Fekete (Brenda), and his daughter Sue Nydam, and a loving Grandfather to Rick Nydam and Rachel and Matt Fekete.
Bill also leaves behind his brother Gabriel (the late Elizabeth), sister Joan Tarcza (the late John) and sister in law Mary Lou Nuttall (the late Bob). Predeceased by his brother Joe and his wife Helen.
Bill also leaves behind many nephews and nieces, as well as many friends and neighbours who will miss Him and the knowledge he passed on to them.

DUNLAP, James Wilfred - It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of James Wilfred Dunlap on Thursday 19 August 2021 at Southlake Regional Health Centre.
Beloved husband to Lucette Papineau Dunlap for 47 years, loving father of Alexandra and her husband Gavin Grant, and Jonathan and his wife Kimie Soriano-Dunlap.
Proud and caring grandfather to Emily, Remy, Theo, and Lucy.
James worked at Imperial Oil as an auditor for 25 years then ran his own business, Datalinks, for another 25 years before retiring in 2016. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed his membership at his golf club.
Most of all, he loved people, and would take the time to ask everyone about the latest news in their lives.
