CARTER, Marie A. (nee CHABOT) - Marie passed August 8, 2021 at the age of 66 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Her loving nature, infectious laughter, and formidable Christmas decorating skills will be forever missed.
She was the beloved wife of John; Mum of Christelle, Maureen, and Evan; grandmother of Jonah; sister of Joann, Vivienne (Walter), and Brenda; and cat mom of Daphne.

HELLYER, The Honorable Paul T. - (1923 – 2021), former Minister of National Defence and Deputy Prime Minister of Canada, died on August 8, 2021, succumbing to injuries sustained from a fall on June 19th.
He had celebrated his 98th birthday surrounded by his children and family two days before his passing.
Paul is survived by his second wife Sandra Hellyer, his three children Mary Elizabeth, Peter (Sass) and David (Kathy) and his five grandchildren Jordan (Isabel), Kaitlin, Joshua, Michael (Harriette) and Emily (Charles).
He will be missed by his six great-grandchildren, Aiden, Evelyn, Jacob, Augustus, Wyatt and Alice.

GELLER, Sandy - Suddenly passed away at Mackenzie Health Hospital, Richmond Hill, on Sunday, August 8, 2021 in her 78th year.
Predeceased by her dear parents Anne and Melville Geller and brothers Harvey and Irving.

She was married to Raghbir Samagh for 55 years who preceded her to heaven in 2014.

After a courageous 18 month battle with cancer, Sheila passed away Sunday, August 8, 2021 at Bridgepoint Hospital – Palliative Care, leaving behind her beloved family and friends.
A Daughter, Sister, Wife, Mother, Gran, Great Gran and a best friend.
We honour her wishes to not shed a tear over her tired frail body, she did not want a funeral.

As a husband, father, architect, Dad was kind, patient, quietly hilarious and always brilliant.
His synesthesia was always a special mystery.
Leaving behind his childhood sweetheart and wife of 52 years, Lindsay; son, Christopher (Morag); daughter, Sarah (Richard); and five grandchildren that made him so proud, Anderson, Katelyn, Cooper, Lauren and Alanah.
He loved fishing, British cars and championing the preservation of Ontario's built heritage.

After a brief illness, it is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Wesley Bodrug at the William Osler Heath Center in Brampton, Saturday August 7, 2021.
Beloved father of Kelly (Andrew) and Susan (Laura). Treasured grandfather of Christopher (Annette), Amy (David) and Erica. Great Grandfather to Liam.
Wesley, commonly known as Wes, was born in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan in 1931. Wes met and married his late wife Anna (nee Rice) in 1959. Wesley attended the University of Toronto and became a dentist in 1965. Wes and Anna moved to Brampton in 1965 to open a successful Dental Practice. In this practice, being one of Brampton’s first dentists; he volunteered as the local Army and Hospital Dentist to Peel Memorial.

JOHNSTON, Frank Samuel - (1940 - 2021) - Died on August 7, 2021 at 8:15 at the Margaret Bahen Hospice in Newmarket. Frank suffered a heart attack in December and was unable to fully recover.
Frank was a devoted husband to Sharon Campbell.
He was a Certified General Accountant working in the field of accounting up until March 2021. He loved his work and working with people.
He was a thespian and supported the local theatres in Newmarket and Aurora.

JONKER, Fredericus 'Fred' - (October 11, 1932 to August 7, 2021)
After struggling with many health issues for a number of years, Fred Jonker went to be with the Lord on August 7, 2021 at the age of 88.
Although we are sad he is gone, we are grateful that he fought the good fight, he finished the race, and he kept the faith.
He is survived by his loving wife Pat of almost 61 years; his three children: Soraya and her husband Gerard, John, and Arthur and his wife Anita; and Grandpa to his three grandchildren: Brent, Hayley, and Caleb.

Alec Gabe passed away peacefully at age 73 at home surrounded by his sons Jonathan, Mitchel and his wife Rosetta.
The son of Clara and Ben Gabe, Alec has been blessed with a devoted wife and partner Rosetta. He also has been fortunate indeed to have raised 2 wonderful sons.
Special mention must be made of Riley and Mili, 2 companion dogs who joined Alec on many treks through Aurora, King and its trails.

Beloved son of late Lou and late Kay Wyman. Loving brother of Vicki (George) Bos. Dear uncle of Steven (Diana) Bos and Michael Bos. Dear great uncle of Emma and Liam Bos.
Dan was active in the Bradford sports community for many years volunteering, coaching and playing. Dan helped start a Bradford Sunday Morning Men's Hockey League and played for many years. He also enjoyed playing in the Bradford Legion Slo Pitch League and for the Bradford Mudhens.

Rose, who was married to Joe Kerkofsky, was widowed in 1957 and left to raise her 12 year old and 9 year old daughters. A homemaker, Rose began her career and worked for many years at Richman’s Bakery.

BECKFORD, Leeman G. - It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Leeman on August 7, 2021, close to the end of his 69th year, at the Toronto General Hospital.
Leeman is survived by his sons, Paul and Christopher. his brother Raymond (Carol), his sisters Herma, and Beverley, and nephews Steven, Owen and Leon.
